The wind blew gently and warm, on a warm sunny day gentle and clear yellow bright. There stood a lovely girl in blue, holding a fan like summer's dawn. She looked around left and right and saw the man she always knew she liked for a very long time. Slowly she walked and tried to approach, but a woman ran beside him and held his hand with a bright smile. An unfamiliar feeling, raged inside her heart, then she smiled and left, leaving the two of them behind.

A few months passed and there she avoided that man she liked, trying to move on from the feeling she had inside. Each day, each night she looked for Mr. right but then her heart only yearns for one name " Novie John" lots of men caught her interest but that's only that as her heart still goes back to that man she oath to forget.

One day as her friends and her were cleaning the gardens, Novie approached with his same old smudge face. Her friend since childhood "Apple" called Novie as she grinned knowing she had trapped her childhood friend in an awkward situation.

"Nov!"

Novie looked at Apple and approached.

"Oh Apple, Jheanelle! So it's your time. to dean the garden tody huh?"

"Yeah"

She mumbled.

"Why is something. is something the matter?..

Apple looked at her and got a very weird idea.

"Novie can you help me with something""

"what?"

"I really need to go to the bathroom, but I can't possibly leave the plants hanging."

Novie raised an eyebrow.

"Then?"

Apple grins.

"Will you do this for me? Jheanelle's here anyways.

Novie backs out and crosses his arms

"No way. I'd rather play Ml than do so."

" Please, please, please.."

Apple looked at him with a pleading eyes that shines so brightly like the stars.

"Stop looking at mu with eyes like that, it feels like I'm going blind."

" Come on, Just say yes! Isn't Jheanelle your beloved friend anyways."

She winked

"Fine fine"

" Good"

Apple smirked and saw Kristel looking at them with a grin.

"Kristel!"

Apple shouted at Kristel.

"Yes."

"Can you go to the bathroom with me?"

She hints to leave Jheanelle and Novice alone.

"Sure, sure why not."

Kristel went to Apple and they both left the 2

two of them hanging.

On the way to the bathroom Kristel could not help but ask Apple why she did it.

"Apple Juicy!"

"What? Stop calling me juice... it's not my name!"

"Well what can I say.......it suits your name"

Smiled as she annoyed her.

"Hmmp!"

Looked at Apple.

"seriously, are you trying to make a bridge for them?"

"Yeah, you could say that. Didn't you see the way Jheanelle looks at Novie, although she's good at hiding it, I could tell that she likes him......I know her long enough to not realize her feelings."

Kristel nods in agreement.

"Come to think of it, she seems awkward with Novie"

"Yeah at least, I hope it will help them both."

Apple said with a smile.

" Yeah, I hope they could both make up"

Smiles stiffly

Back in the garden both Novie and Jheanelle were left alone doing all the chores. Novie held the broom so tightly in annoyance.

"Hay, don't grip the broom that tightly"

" Ohh!"

Said in realization.

" May I ask you something?"

"Yes"

"Why are you avoiding me?Did I do something that could upset you?"

Asked in confusion.

"Avoiding you? You must be mistaken because I haven't."

Said not looking straight on Novie's eyes as she hesitates.

"Then look at me in the eyes and tell me you aren't avoiding me"

Looked at him and looked at the skies.

"The sky looks cloudy today he probably should finish this now."

Picks up the dustpan and begins to gather the trash Novie returns his gaze to his work and shakes his head at Jheanelle's refusal to answer.

"You're always like this .Even though you said you didn't avoid me,but I know you are. You couldn't even handle a small conversation with me now."

Jheanelle looked at him nonchalantly and turned to leave, leaving Novie alone.Then with a slight of hesitation she looked back at him and smiled bitterly.

"How could I stay close with you, when you needed to give your the fullest of your attention. to the girl you like."

She started walking leaving Novie troubled.

Jheanelle turns to leave,however Novie suddenly gripped her wrist making Novie question his own actions but he can't deny that part of him wants Jheanelle to stay a little longer and talk. Jheanelle turned to look at him with an even more shocked. expression.

"Just because I have someone I like your avoiding

me? "

Novie asked with a confused look on his face.

"No... I even still talked to you it's not like I'm avoiding you completely."

"But... It's still not the same as before"

looked at her sadly.

"What?"

" Nothing......"

Jheanelle looked at him with a more confused face.

"Is there anything you need?"

"What do you think of me?"

"What do you mean."

Novie looked at her into the eyes.

"What do you think of me as a man?"

Shocked by his question.

" Well.......that?"

"Well what?"

Jheanelle sighed.

" You're smart, kind, and although it's hard to admit it but you're handsome ...(Hesitates).......and childish too. However, I don't know if I see you as a man or just a boy that I knew since childhood."

Novie sighed in relief.

" I have someone I like. Do you think she likes me too?"

"Why, ask me ? It's not like it's me or something."

She said jokingly, but inside hur heart is pounding,then Novie looked at her and flinched.

"Y... Yeah, I'm just asking for your opinion."

He hesitates

"I think it depends on her if she likes you back, but in my opinion I know.She'll be lucky whoever might she be."

Jheanelle l smiled.

Meanwhile, Kristel and Apple kept looking at them rubbing their foreheads. Suddenly, Kristel sighed.

"Are they really clueless or just pretending?....."

Kristel asked in frustration.

"I don't know? I guess?"

Apple exclaimed.

"I think they know about their feelings for each other but they're not sure about it?"

" Yeah maybe"

Kristel looked at Apple confusedly.

"Why is that?"

"As I know from Jheanelle they knew each other since pre-school."

" Ohh, no wonder they hesitate but if I am Novie I will look at Jheanelle straight into the eyes and tell her how I feel...it doesn't matter if she accepted my feelings as long as I told her.(Sighed)...

I want to go to them and bump their heads. "

Apple sighed and smirked at the same time.

"People are different you see....but what if we really bump their heads into one another maybe it will wack in some information to them."

"Yeah, I know."

Both of them are frustrated about the awkwardness between Novie and Jheanelle. They look back at Navie and Jheanelle, both are still trapped in the awkward situation they caught in. Suddenly the teacher called and announced the final honor students in the class. They both went inside breaking the tension between them.

A few moments later their teacher finally announced all the honor students that were gonna proceed on the next school year to A class .However, Novie did not meet the criteria due to his average grade.He went outside sad and blue, then in the midst of loneliness someone patted his back and smiled at him.

"Are you alright?"

"Yeah don't worry, I'll try my best to catch up"

" Why? Is there any reason you want to stay at classA ?"

"I'll try my best to stay by her side, but she seems to be running away every time I tried to reach her....."(Sadly)

" Who? The girl you like?"

Novie smiled and looked at her. Jheanelle looked at him confused and cleaned her fist.

"So just for her?"

"Yeah....."

"Who is she?"

Novie looked at Jheanelle with twinkling eyes. He looked around and taught they are completely alone ,without knowing Apple, Tereza, Hanelyn,Kristel Chriesha and Mares were looking at them.

"She's the most beautiful woman I know, smart, not too kind not too naive. Her smiles were like the rays of sun itself.I always cease to look at those eyes being fully careful not to fall deeply deep within."

Jheanelle lowered her head, the fact that Novie's daydreaming in front of her is frustrating her.

Novie smirks and Nods.

"I better go now a friend is waiting."

As Novie turned to leave Jheanelle clenched her fist tighter trying to urge all the courage she can find inside her heart out. On the other hand, Apple and the others. were screaming with excitement but trying to hide their voices .Jheanelle looked at Novie for she had found the courage that she needed . She took a deep breath and finally looked at Novie.

"Novie......(Hesitates)...I like you!"

Novie turned to look at Jheanelle his expression shock and his face is red.

"W- What ?Can you say it again?"

" I like you... For a long.....long time..."

Novie's face turned visibly red.

" I---I......"

"It's okay if you want to reject me now, I'm just happy I have told you how I feel."

" No... It's not like that.Just let me finish."

" Then what?"

Novie hesitates then holds Jheanelle's hand.

"What?"

"I like you too"

Jheanelle's eyes widened her heart pumping. Jheanelle's friends kept jumping up and down their hearts fluttering thinking it's like watching a real life Korean drama. They kept their lips as shut as they could trying not to ruin the moment.

"You're not messing with me are you Novie?"

" Why would I dare to do that if it means our friendship at stake..... You just told me how you feel and I saw how tough you are no wonder I like you so much."

Jheanelle blush slightly

"So you like me all along........ Since when?"

" I'm not so sure myself."

" Huh?!"

"I just soon know whenever everything you do even the simplest things seems so special and I wanted to cherish it forever. "

Kissed her kind gentlemanly.

Jheanelle's heart pumped even faster at his words and actions.

"Congrats.....Kiss the bride.... hahaha"

Suddenly, someone shouts loudly and interrupts their happy moments. Jheanelle and Novie looked at them with a shock look. Her friends looked back nervous and shocked as well, but Kristel just acted so nonchalantly about it.

"How---how long are you all in there?"

Jheanelle stuttered

" Since the vang beginning........."

Kristel answered so nonchalantly.

"Are you not shaken at all Kristel?"

Apple asked.

"What's there to be shaken? I woman confessed her love for the man she likes and the man answered her call for love.How romantic......."

She answered indifferently.....clapping her hands.

"wow"

"We better run for it.....!."

"Yeah, run as fast as you all can because I'm gonna teach you a lesson for eavesdropping just like what a mom should do..."

Kristel and the others looked at each other and started running . Jheanelle looked at them with a pissed look and happy both at the same time ... Now she finally have a reason to leave Novie since her heart just can't take it anymore. Jheanelle started running trying to catch them and looked at Novie before her frame disappers.

" Bye"

As days went by Novie and Jheanalle's love grew stronger , a love so strong that both of them can no longer be separated , a true bond that sticks together making even the sun and the moon itself jealous.One day, Jheanelle was sitting next to Novie making him anxious and uncomfortable. Their friends look at them with a grin.

'So are you two together?---By together I meant dating?"

Kristine asked.Jheanelle looked at her eyes wide and then forcefully smiled.

"No we are not!"

Novie tilted

"Yeah-- we-- are not"

"Then why do you keep stuttering Novie?"

Apple asked and grinned.

" No reason"

"Ohh?"

Apple said her eyebrows raised high.

"I think Novie wanted to fly right now."

Apple added Kristine looked at Apple and smirked Suddenly someone patted Jheanelle's shoulder and sat next to her, it was Kristel

"Why would he fly?"

She smirked and looked at Jheanelle and Novie teasingly.

"Why bother to ask just look at this goddess next to him...."

Kristine said teasingly looking both at Novie and Jheanelle. Kristel and Apple got the hints and grinned wickedly, deciding to join the fun.

"Oh a goddess? Who?"

Kristel said voice teasing and high.

"Who else...."

Apple glints.

"Looks like someone has a four"

They looked at Novie's face visibly red in his dark skin color.

"Novie , are you not feeling well?

Kristel said teasingly. Novie looked down in embarrassment and clenched his fist.

"I......I need to go"

He stands up hurriedly.

"Where are you going?"

Jheanelle asked.

" Wow, That's my girl"

Kristine looked at her and winked.

"I have a meeting"

Novie answered. Then suddenly a female girls scout. beautiful and elegannt calling his name.

"wow she's pretty"

Kristel said.

"Why? New target Kristel?"

Kristel glanced at the girl and smirked.

"No , I'm true and loyal to only one person."

Apple,Kristine, and Jheanelle glanced at each other looking at Kristel teasingly.

"Who? Is it H?"

"shh"

Kristel put a hand on her lips.

" Wow.... Good for you having a love life. "

Jheanelle said with an sarcastic smile.

"What about you? Don't you have Novie?"

Kristel said smirking.

" I'm leaving bye..."

Novie said hurriedly.

" Novie wait..."

Kristel said.

"what?"

"Who is that pretty little lady?"

Novie looked at her and smirked.

"Hey, don't make her your target."

"Don't you have Jheanelle?"

Kristel pointed at Jheanelle.

"She's just a friend okay..... "

Novie said hesitantly.

"Ohh, I see...."

Kristel looked at the girl.

"Really? She's just a friend?

Kristel added.

"Yes...she truly is!"

Kristel smiled

" Ok, I won't push it."

Novie smiled and left.

As Novie left, there was a large silence between their circle.Kristine suddenly stood up and patted Jheanelle's shoulder from the back with her face mar.

"I don't understand "

Kristine said with a confused tone.

" What?"

Jheanelle asked.

"You like each other, but why are you 2 still not together?"

Kristine asked.

"We can't"

" Is it because of your parents?"

Kristel added.

" Yeah, it's kind of sad though."

Jheanelle answered.

" Maybe faith will smile in your door and by then you will walk down the red carpet roses sorrounding both of you ,while your holding his hand in a beautiful white gown."

Kristel said with a smile and a little teasing look.

"Yeah, then they'll look at each other their their vous and finally.....kiss"

Apple added Jheanelle at them, their words sending shivers down her spines . Kristine looked at them barely holding her laughter.

" Jeez, what a delusion."

"Hahaha. I'll see through it."

Kristine finally laughed.

After school Jheanelle went home with a slight glint of sadness in her face. After doing all her household task she went to her room to answering her remaining school works. Suddenly, she recieved an message from Novie to which she really didn't expect but it made her heart flutter somehow.

Message:

"Hey....are you still alive?"

"Of course duh! (snobbish emoje)

"Duh... your face!"

"Do you need anything?"

"Can I ask you something?"

"Of course"

"Never mind....

"Are you crazy. You said you wanna ask me something and now you take it back? Tell me."

"Fine seriously..."

"What?"

"Can I court you?"

Jheanelle's mind went blank not knowing what to do she really wanted to say yes but she didn't want to break her promise.

"Uhmmm......"

"Sorry but I can't let you court me right now."

" Do you not like me anymore"

"No it's just.... Not until I turn 18 the minimum"

" Okay"

"I hope you wait for me by then and your feelings will not wane"

"Why would it wane?I'll wait for you even if you no longer like me."

" Thank you... I hope the same for you and by the. I hope you can always be my good friend and stay by my side."

Jheanelle turned off and went to bed, her mind racing with taughts she cannot control.She covered her face with a pillow, hating the fact that her face turned red at the conversation with Novie, then the conversation with her friends remember how they frankly laughed and talk about marriage too casually somehow brought smile to her face.
