Bound to the Unwanted Bride
Prologue
He was a ruthless Mafia King.
Cold. Merciless. Feared by all.
His hands were stained with blood.
His heart… carved from stone.
Love.
Compassion.
Mercy.
They had no place in his world.
Matteo Salvatore(ml)
(his growl):
People are either assets… or liabilities.
And I never hesitate…
to eliminate the latter.
But fate…
Fate does not ask.
It strikes.
When fate forced him into a marriage…
it was not for love.
It was for the sake of his Seven-month-old son
An innocent soul…
the only thing left of the woman he once lost.
Matteo Salvatore(ml)
(his cold declaration):
This is nothing more than a business deal.
A necessary arrangement.
Not for love.
Nothing more.
His new wife was meant to be a caretaker.
Not a part of his life.
And yet…
Destiny had other plans.
She entered his house quietly…
like a shadow slipping into fire.
Her hands trembled when she first held the child.
Her eyes lowered when she first stood before him.
Elena Caruso(fl)
(her soft whisper):
"I am not here to take his mother’s place.
I am only here to keep him safe."
He watched her with suspicion.
With hatred.
With walls higher than kingdoms.
Matteo Salvatore(ml)
(his cold warning):
"Don’t mistake this for family.
You are nothing more than a shadow in my house."
But shadows…
have a way of learning how to breathe.
And even the hardest stone…
can crack…
when touched too long by warmth.
Days turned into nights.
Nights into years.
He saw her cradle the child with tenderness.
He heard her hum lullabies through his walls.
Matteo Salvatore(ml)
(his whisper, conflicted):
"Why do I feel this way…
when I look at her?"
Because destiny is cruel.
Because destiny binds hearts
that should have never touched.
Matteo Salvatore
[Salvatore Enterprises – Top Floor, Dusk]
The city burned in gold as the sun sank. Glass walls of the skyscraper caught fire in its reflection.
At the very top—power lived and breathed.
Matteo Salvatore stood before the floor-to-ceiling window, hands buried in his pockets. His 6’2 frame was all steel and command, his blue eyes cold, unreadable. The world feared him—rightfully so.
Matteo Salvatore(ml)
A knock broke the silence.
(low, commanding): “Come in.”
The door swung open. Valerio Costa rushed in, chest heaving.
Valerio Costa[ assistant, best friend]
Matteo… you’re still here? Madam is calling you. Today is your wedding
Matteo didn’t move. His gaze stayed on the glittering skyline.
Matteo Salvatore(ml)
“I know.”
Valerio Costa[ assistant, best friend]
[Valerio’s jaw tightened.]
Valerio Costa[ assistant, best friend]
“At least do it for Adrian. He needs this. He needs a mother.”
Matteo Salvatore(ml)
[Finally, Matteo turned, his face carved in stone.] “I’m doing it for him. Otherwise, marriage disgusts me.”
[Salvatore Villa – Night]
The marble halls glowed under crystal chandeliers. Guards lined the entrance. The place looked like a palace—yet tension crackled in the air.
Serena Salvatore[ ml's mom]
Voice (sharp, stern): “Where have you both been?”
Serena Salvatore[ ml's mom]
(stern, icy): Matteo, do you even realize tonight is your wedding?
Matteo Salvatore(ml)
[jaw tightened. His blue eyes, cold as winter glass, met hers.]
(firm, low): “This marriage is your decision, not mine. I never agreed to it.”
Adrian Salvatore[ Ml's son ]
(soft, innocent): dada
The tension cracked—until small footsteps echoed behind him.
Tiny arms wrapped around his leg.
....
Matteo looked down. His son, dressed in a miniature black suit, peered up at him with wide blue eyes. For a moment, all steel melted from Matteo’s face.
Matteo Salvatore(ml)
(quietly): I’m here, my adi
He bent, lifting Adrian into his arms. The boy’s small hands gripped Matteo’s collar as if he were his entire world.

Adrian giggled, whispering half-formed words only a child could invent. The hardened Mafia King kissed his son’s forehead, the anger in his veins cooling instantly.
But Serena’s voice cut through the softness.
Serena Salvatore[ ml's mom]
(sharp, unforgiving): “You’re marrying Elena Caruso for Adrian’s sake, but that doesn’t give you the right to ruin her life.”
Matteo didn’t answer. His blue eyes turned to stone again.
Without a word, he walked past her, Adrian safe in his arms, Valerio following silently behind.
[Salvatore Villa – Matteo’s Room]
Matteo pushed the heavy oak door open, his son Adrian already darting toward the bed.
The boy’s laughter filled the silence, pure and untamed.
Adrian Salvatore[ Ml's son ]
(giggling): dada, catch me if you can
Matteo smirked faintly, lifting him effortlessly into his strong arms. He tossed the boy onto the bed, then leaned down to tickle him. Adrian squealed, tiny fists punching the air as his laughter bounced off the marble walls.
For Matteo, the world stilled. In those moments, his son’s joy was the only peace he knew.
But then… his gaze shifted.
To the photo frame on the wall.
The smile vanished from his face.
His blue eyes darkened, misted with shadows of grief.
He stepped closer, staring at the woman in the photograph.
Her smile. Her eyes. The one he had lost.
Matteo Salvatore(ml)
(muttering, low): “Why did you leave me? Look at me now… forced into a marriage I never wanted. Forced to bring another woman into this house, into Adrian’s life. But in my heart? No one will ever take your place. No one.”
He dragged in a deep breath, then turned back, pulling Adrian into his arms as if the boy’s warmth could burn away the ache in his chest.
Adrian Salvatore[ Ml's son ]
(softly): dada
Matteo pressed a kiss to his son’s hair, whispering nothing, only holding him tighter.
