Ji Cheng finishes applying make-up on Taehyung.
Director
Okay! Taehyung, are you ready?
Taehyung
Yeah. Let’s get this scene over with.
Taehyung steps forward and acts his role. Cameras whir past him and shoot the scene.
Actress 1
Ah, my love! How could you betray me? *voice full of tears*
Taehyung
No, I didn’t! You must believe me! *shouting*
Actress 1
No! You cheated on me twice. You think I’d stay with you? In your dreams! *angry*
Taehyung
No, please wait! *moves to hold her hand*
Tears roll down Taehyung’s cheeks. The staff and crew is mesmerised by Taehyung’s realistic acting.
Actress 1
Let me go! I will never see you again! Good bye, my love.
The actress leaves the scene. Taehyung sits on the floor, his head in his hands and cries.
Director
Cut! Very good! We’ll shoot the next and final scene in a while. Go and have a break.
Taehyung retreats to his room to study the script.
William
Hey, Taehyung. That was awesome.
Taehyung
Yeah, this movie wouldn’t work without me.
The Director calls them for the final scene.
Taehyung starts acting the scene where he dies in pain of losing his love.
Suddenly, the roof of the set starts to collapse.
Taehyung moves in time. The set and lighting misses him by an inch.
Taehyung
Who the hell did that!?
William
Why do you think someone did that? It must’ve been an accident.
Taehyung
Everybody out there in the entertainment industry is jealous of me. I have every right to think someone wants me dead.
William
Hey! Don’t be too arrogant. There are more valuable and talented people than you.
Taehyung
William! You are my manager!
William
So what? I don’t get to say anything?!
Director
Guys! He’s fine. Why are we fighting?
William
Yeah, he’s fine. That’s the problem. He should be dead.
Taehyung
*smirks* I knew it was you.
William
*in shock* Wha-? How?
Director
What? Are you admitting it was you?
William doesn’t say anything and starts to escape.
Taehyung
Security, get him.
The security catches him.
Taehyung
You’re fired, William. You made a mistake. This job pays millions. *adjusts his collar*
Director
Security, take him away!
William
I WON’T LET YOU LIVE. I WILL ESCAPE FROM JAIL AND KILL YOU, YOU ARROGANT B*TCH!!
Security leaves with William.
Director
Um, I think we should cancel the shoot for today. Let’s shoot tomorrow.
Taehyung nods curtly and leaves without a word.
He goes to his room and sits on the couch.
Ji Cheng knocks on the door and comes in.
Ji Cheng
Hyung, are you okay?
Taehyung
Yeah. Why are you here?
Ji Cheng
Um, we need to go back to your mansion. I’m here to pack your things. Since William is fired.
Ji Cheng starts packing Taehyung’s things.
Ji Cheng
He was overacting, don’t you think?
Taehyung stands up and leaves.
Ji Cheng sits on the couch and presses his nose against the material.

Taehyung and Ji Cheng reach the Kim Mansion.
Mr. Kim
Are you alright, son?
Mrs. Kim
Yes, we heard from Jin what happened.
Taehyung
I’m fine. Don’t make it a big deal.
Taehyung sits on the couch in the living room. The butler offers him ice tea.
Mrs. Kim
How is that NOT a big deal? You are a big superstar. And as your parents, we are concerned about you.
Taehyung
Okay, I get it. But I’m fine as you can see.
Taehyung finishes the ice tea and puts the cup on the coffee table.
Taehyung
I’ll be going back to my house.
Mr. Kim
But you just came here. At least stay for a day.
Taehyung
I can’t, I’m busy. We need to recruit a new TRUSTWORTHY manager for me.
Mr. Kim
Ah, yes yes. Work is more important. We are proud of you.
Taehyung

As if on cue, Taehyung gets Jin’s call.

This guy will live long. Let me put him on conference.
Taehyung
Don’t even talk to me. *says in a cute voice*

Ah, Taehyung. You work for my company. How could I not call you. But I though of visiting you in your on-set room but you had already left. How are you?
Taehyung
I’m alright. We need to find a new manager.
Jin
Yes yes, I know. Tomorrow, I will announce the job offer. You and I can interview them.
Jimin
How is Namjoon hyung, btw?
Jin
Ah, he’s fine. Just troubles me everyday.
Taehyung
*chuckles* In bed?
Jimin
How is your guys married time going?
Jin
It’s actually pretty good. I though I would have difficulties, but I don’t. I love living with Namjoon.
Taehyung
How long will you hide this from the media?
Jin
Not for long. I just don’t want the world to hate us. I mean, I don’t want to lose him.
Jimin
You won’t. He loves you truly.
Taehyung
Well, I’ll see you guys later. Meet you tomorrow at our usual spot. Call Namjoon hyung too.
Taehyung ends the call and closes his eyes. He barely escaped from heavy injury today. Though he is a little bit cold with others and his family, he loves his friends dearly.
Ji Cheng
I’ll wait outside.
Ji Cheng leaves them alone.
Mrs. Kim
Your birthday is in 2 months.
Taehyung
Yes, I remember my own birthday, Mom.
Mr. Kim
We will give you a surprise then.
Taehyung

Without saying goodbye, Taehyung leaves the Kim Mansion.

Taehyung sits on his bed and covers his face with his hands.

Taehyung picks up the phone
Jin
Hey, Tae. I just hired a new manager for you!
Taehyung
What!? I was thinking of interviewing people myself to hire them.
Jin
Don’t worry. He’s trustworthy. I personally chose him. Moreover, he’s young and in need of a job.
Taehyung
This is no charity work, hyung! We don’t do charity. I need a manager who works like he’s my personal assistant. You can’t hire him just because he needs a job.
Jin

Taehyung ends the call and lies down.
Few hours ago, a young man in desperate need of a job was walking down the working complex.
He saw a building named “JinHit Entertainment”. He thought of going there and finding about any job.
He entered the building and went to the reception. He asked about the CEO. The receptionist asked for an appointment. When he said he had no appointment, she informed him that he can’t meet the CEO without an appointment.
Disappointed, he turned and took the elevator to go down. When the elevator stopped midway, two people joined.
Jin
Hide today’s mishap from the press. I’m certain they would exaggerate the story.
Director
Yeah. What happened was seriously out of control. By the way, what about the new manager for Taehyung?
Jin
*sigh* We haven’t hired anyone yet. I’ll tell my assistant to post about it on our website.
Director
But we need a manager now. The shooting can’t wait. The movie is supposed to release in a week.
The young man was listening intently. He thought it was a good opportunity.
Jin
*looks at Jungkook* Who are you?
Jungkook
I’m Jeon Jungkook. Nice to meet you.
He extended a hand but Jin didn’t shake his hand.
Jin
What are you here for in my company? I dont remember seeing you work here.
Jungkook
I-it’s your company!? You’re the CEO?
Jungkook
I just heard that you wanted a manager. I was wondering if I could apply for the job.
Jin
Do you think you can work as a manager for a world famous actor?
Jungkook
Um, yea I think so. If I try my best.
Jin
I don’t need “think so”. I need a solid yes. It’s a tough job.
Jungkook

Jin
