it isn’t that exciting after all it’s filled with normal day-to-day activities such classes, exams my main priorities while parties and sports are not really my thing. I am not really a fan of parties and sports I like my privacy, although there is a story in between, but we’ll get there. I spend most of my time reading and watching movies, I am an introvert I find my peace in silence. Not only that, but I am Tessa Scott and the only child of my parents Mr. Blake Scott and Mrs. Emma Scott the most powerful, popular and well-known business couple in the state part of the richest in the world. Sometimes I wonder why they have so many companies, mansions not even house, estates, beach houses, private jets, islands and many more I don’t remember. They were always in and out of the country with their busy life but when they had me my mum had to stay back, so I get a proper parental training while my dad does most of the work, but he would come home every 2 weeks to check on me and my mum till I was old enough to be enrolled in school then my parents hired lots of maids, cooks, bodyguard and gatekeeper just to keep me protected, but I still had my personal maid Ella and bodyguard Josh. I was just 8 years old surrounded with workers and sometimes my mum, but she is one week on one week off while my dad stayed a little longer.

By the time I was 10 my cousin Peter joined me he is also the same age as me. He lost his parent to fire accident his mum and my dad are siblings they were the only people I know aside my parents I am happy his is here and I am also not because aunt and uncle are dead but on the bright side I have company though he is a male child still we attend the same school, ride in the same car, do assignment together, learn together, play, eat, watch movies and many more together. On weekends and holidays we go out especially holidays it’s either we go out with our parent or end up at the beach house it’s always fun. This time my parent stayed longer like months before they return since we were old enough to take care of ourselves. peter and I got so close we best friends soon days turned to weeks, weeks turned to months and months became years.7 years later

A new term, a new year and a new class. I had just ended a lonely holiday peter went my parents to learn about the company since we were graduating this year. I found it boring, so I went to the beach house inside then came a week before resumption to prepare peter was supposed to come back last night, but unfortunately I went to bed early didn’t get the chance to find out about that. Peter has been my only friend both at school and home. So school for me isn’t that exciting after all it’s filled with normal day-to-day activities such classes, exams my main priorities while parties and sports are not really my thing. I am not really a fan of parties and sports, but Peter always made me wait after to watch him play basketball he was their captain so tall and handsome has a well-built body many girls in school are dying to be his girlfriends in school some will deliberately wait after school just to watch him freaking practice. And thanks to him, I am going to experience it again this year. Did I forget to mention I was experiencing the same things from jocks especially the basketball players, just like they are players in game, so they are in relationship flirt with you, ask you out, date you, get into your pants, and dump you with humiliations in public then pass you to their next opponent to carry out the same operation. I would like to see what this year is like I got off my bed to prepare for school

Doesn’t she know we have school today “Ella” I called coming towards the dinning to have breakfast “you called peter” Ella responded. “Good morning Ella, I haven’t seen Tessa this morning and when I came back last night I hope she is back from the beach house” I asked settling down on my seat. “yes, she came back a week ago she should down in a few minutes” she said then returned to her work while I feast on my food. Indeed, some minutes later she came looking beautiful as always I smiled at her and she frowned at me before I could, I ask what I did to get that expression so early in the morning she was thrown off balance by asking “where are my parents” she stood arms-crossed like a child whose candy was stolen. “Good morning to you too Tessa about your they left to Europesome thingshings to deal with there so they will be back this weekend's I brought your gifts the ones you asked us to buy” I pointed at them in the living room. Then she smiled, and ran to give me a hug and a peck on my cheek a sign I did as she pleases but if its otherwise I get a hard knock on my head and she would ignore me for days depending on my offense. After that she sat down, and we had breakfast we spoke about all that happened in the holiday we were for so long I badly missed her.

After breakfast, we packed our bags, and got ready for school I took my car keys then we headed to where my car was parked “I want to drive” she said giving me her puppy eyes. But I chose not to fall for it her warned me never to let her drive until she was 18 years old. “Absolutely not and there is no chance for argument this morning we are late” I said leaving not room for arguments. ”but we are not” she argued. “yes we are I have a meeting my player before class begins” I replied, she mouthed oh we got in the car did our seat belts then drove off to school. we arrived at the schools parking lots within 40 minutes, We parked our things and got down said goodbyes as we went our separate ways. I headed to the court were the players already waiting for me, so we have our meeting as planned during the holiday we exchanged greetings as we stated discussing important things for this year training. This was my final year and I would soon be handing over to my assistant while we appoint another one.

Tessa P.O.V

I headed straight to my locker to grab my things for my morning class once I was done and prepared to leave but was stopped by two girls which I am sensing are new. “Hi, really sorry to disturb but we are looking for the principal’s office. We are transfer students so would might leading us there please”one of the girls said “okay follow me” I told them leading the way. “by the way I am Amelia and this is my friend Emily” she introduced. “I’m Tessa Scott” I replied plainly. “wait you mean Tessa Scott as in EBS Groups the billionaire” “Emily beamed. “yeah” I replied plainly, “please can we be friends ” Amelia begged. I flashed a surprising look. “I mean we are going to see each other every day so it’s possible right” she added. I was at loss of words and right on time we arrive at the principal office “okay about you go in first and we meet later” they agreed and left. There is no way I am meeting with these two later on. On my way to class the bell rang shit I was late my first class was A.P English by the time I got to class peter already reserved my seat beside him as always “what took you so long I taught you would be in class by now” he asked “I went to the principal office” I answered “what in the world were you doing in the principal office” he said he expression demanding answers “Don’t give me that look I helped some transfer student get to the principal office” I replied innocently he looked at me for a while searching my eyes to see if I was telling the truth which later got interrupted by the English teacher walking in with the two student who I just helped to the principal office few minutes ago. Peter noticed my puzzled look asked if they the one I took to the principal office, I nodded “just give them a chance you have never had a female friend look I will always be here no matter what happens but you still need a female friend to talk stuff with and also be around to talk to always especially when I am at the game or training that way I won’t have to force to come with me always please do this for me Tessa I want the best for you always” he said with pleading eyes. “okay fine” I replied knowing he was right after all. As we turned to concentrate on todays class they magically appeared beside me which me nearly jump out of my seat. “so we can be friends now” Emily asked “okay” was all I said as we concentrate on the class. Soon the bell rang finally I could leave the boring class. we were heading to our next class mine was French while peter has athletics so I was stuck with the girls Emily had drama classes. Only I and Amelia were left for the next class we bid our goodbyes as we headed to the next class before lunch. “I know you might not feel comfortable about us been friends cause I saw your boyfriend begging you to be friends with us I just needed someone intelligent and knows about the school a little and you have this gentle spirit that I like and I was hoping we could so we could learn and gain a lot together” I was touched by her words “I have never had a female friends before” she mouthed oh “he is not my boyfriend but my cousin his name peter we grew up together so you misunderstood and it’s actually fine I don’t mind us being friends so yes we can be friends if we understand each other” I replied her with a warm smile. “okay thanks” we straight to class and settled down while we waited for our teacher it didn’t take long for the class to begin as teachers came in. “Good morning students” We replied in union. “welcome back to another……” we paid attention to her.

Peter P.O.V

“Yo Peter are you doing man” Travier, my male best friends called out. We exchanged the brotherly hug “I am good bro” I said smiling. “How’s Tessa doing” he asked as we walk to the basketball court to practice before lunch break. “she’s good has another class and two new ‘FEMALE’ friends” I said. “I taught we were her only friends I am happy She decides to open up to new people” I nodded “Good morning coach” I greeted. “morning captain” he replied smiling. noticing someone new beside him “alright gagatherhe said loudly clapping his hands, and all players did as he commanded “we have a newcomer in our midst he is a transfer student from one of the schools we played with two years ago his name is chase and I would like you to give a friendly welcome into our midst captain I trust you know what to do” “yes sir” I replied him. “okay great so this Morning we are not training this Morning just warmups then after school you must resume here I had new skills for you guys.

That will be all for this morning So captain I will hand chase over to you,, and you know what to do, so chase this is your captain peter he is going to train you and tell you all you need to know so to other player warmup yourself I’ll leave guys now I have something else to attend to see you after school” then he left. “so chase welcome to the team we’ll be heading to the field for your own warm up” I said patting his back. “Okay” he said as we moved to the field to do personal training for him, we call it welcome training for the new members. Soon the bell rang for lunch break. “Okay So I think you are ready for after school practice let head over to the cafeteria to meet the others.” I said while changing into my normal clothes.

We arrived at the cafeteria just me, Amelia and Emily. I was looking for peter and Travier we always meet at the cafeteria after our morning classes but they were missing, so I called peter on my phone he didn’t but gave me meet a message he is on his way then I spotted Travier coming towards me “hey pumpkin how are you doing” Travier said smilingly happily. “get lost” I shrugged him off. “oh come on when are we going to be friends you I know I can’t do more than that peter will skin me alive please pumpkin” he begged. “don’t call me pumpkin and I will agree with you” I said “Okay Tessa so we are cool right” he asked with one eye brow up just to be double sure. “yeah we are” I said. “Thanks” he said noticing the girls behind me. “oh wow you are so beautiful please what is your name” he said staring at Emily “Travier not my friend you can go meet Lilian She is special to me get lost and what is taking peter so long to get here ” I said irritated “I am here” peter announced and I knocked his head and went to the canteen with Amelia to get our food since Travier and Peter already annoyed me while Emily is stuck Travier blushing. “Tessa I am sorry we had a newcomer and coach asked me to train him privately so we finished late I am sorry I won’t do it again.” Peter said begging and following me but ignored him and gave my card to the food vendor for my food and Amelia’s but he snatched her card and gave the food vendor his card. “give it back” I shouted trying to reach for my card but he is so tall. “nope until we get home.” He said. I had to give and allow him do his wishes I know he wants my forgiveness no so fast young man your tricks ain't gonna work I am just going to let this slip away for now he is going to get a taste of he own medicine.he paid for our meal and we went ahead to settle down we ate and gisted talked about how our morning classes "so you mention there a new comer who is it". i asked curiously, "oh about that his name is chase he was suppose to join us for lunch but I don't where he is maybe you meet later after school cause we have training" he said nonchalantly. "no way am I staying with you till u finish training I am going home" i said clearly still angry about earlier. "hmmm let see I have your cards and the car key is with me the expression on yours does not look like people who want to miss watching us train so technically you have no choice" he said smiling widely. I was fuming at this rate and never said a word till lunchbreak was over I was the first to leave the cafeteria I did not want to speak to them no one else was on my side so sad I made my way to locker. packed my stuff for the rest of my classes my next class was chemistry and my sit partner was peter OMG I badly wanna go under ground now I was so lost in taught i bumped into someone my books fell in the process he bent down to pick them for me then our eyes connect Jezz I have never been so drawn by some appearance before this guy is fucking handsome. "hey" he called only did I know I was staring "i am so sorry I wasn't concentrating I'll get going now" i said looking down clearly embarrassed as I was about to make my move i was stopped. "hey wait up where are headed I am new and I need to get to the chemistry class asap " he said "follow me" was all I said then I continued my journey to my class I am so going to dig the floors today. good thing we arrive at the class but I was LATE the teacher was already in class "Tessa you are late did something happen on your way here" the chemistry teacher said worried knowing i am never late to his class. "i am sorry I bumped into this student in the hall he pleaded he was lost and needed to come here so I offered to help" i said pointing at the new students. "oh how nice of you Tessa you can go have your sit now" i disappeared from his sights immediately as I got my sit peter with questions I didn't answer any of them then he begin to apologise almost going on his knees until I gave him face but I did not budge I wanted him to know what it feels like when no one is on your side.
