Natasha POV
Clint and I dangle on the cliff. The cord is too weak to carry both of us. Clint doesn't notice, but I do. We gaze at each other, his eyes beg for me to not let go. But, I know what I have to do.
"It's okay," I whisper. I hit the stone and finally let go.
"No!" Clint called out, as I fell. I stare at his eyes and smile. I fall, the wind hitting my back with vigor.
I imagine my family, the Avengers. I think of everything that led to this, and soon enough I slam into the dirt and acknowledge my fate, death.
Blood pools around me as I slowly close my eyes and drift

Loki's POV
I was lifted by Thanos' grip. The Mad Titan tightening his grasp on my throat. I felt Thor's stare on my back, helplessly watching me in a fruitless terror.
"You will never be a god" I choke out. The room hears the snap of my neck. Death finally overtakes me as the sounds of my brother increase.
Although, I will never fulfill my promise. The sun will never shine on both of us again, brother. I silently drift, knowing that I have fulfilled my part.

Tony's POV
"I am Iron Man." I say as I snapped my fingers. Power surged through my body, and it burned my side. The side that carried the infinity stones.
I stumble back and watch with satisfaction as Thanos' fleet turns to dust. Thanos' sits in defeat and slowly turns to dust. I lay my head on a broken chunk of metal. Noises turn fuzzy as the kid, Peter, says something. He gets plucked back by Pepper. She holds my hand on my chest. She tells me something and then I hear what I need.
"You can rest now, Tony." I smile when she says that phrase. I close my eyes and drift as I let go of her hand.

Loki woke up slowly. His body was covered in bruises, and his neck burned to the touch where the Mad Titan had grabbed him. He looked around and realized he was in a very familiar forest, an Asgardian forest. He looked around and realized that he was in the palace woods.
Loki POV
My vision cleared up and I noticed that I was not alone. Two of Thor's mortal friends were here. The Man of Iron was unconscious. He had burns on his right side, which would be fatal to any other mortal. The woman, the Black Widow, as Thor had told me, had blood pooling around her that should have been fatal as well. But, the stubborn human was breathing.
I realize we must have traveled through time as Asgard is not supposed to be standing. Pieces of rock and dust should be floating through the space that was the Realm Eternal, not the lush leaves of the palace forest.
I waited for the mortals to get up as I understand that we will need to stay close to come back to our time. Wait, if we have traveled back far enough, we prevent Thanos from coming to Midgard, and the destruction of Asgard. The cosmos will be rescued. But, what if the Midgardians have already defeated Thanos. No! I do not remember any disruptions in the time since I began studying magic. Therefore, we have changed from our timeline.
A grunt ripped me away from my chain of thought. I turn and notice Stark has begun to awake. I do not make my presence known to him, and I observe him. Stark examines, with a keen eye, his surroundings. Then when he looks at me and says, "What the ****".
Tony and Loki sat on the lush grass with an air of discomfort, Natasha layed passed out a few meters apart from the two. The wind blew filling the silence with the rustle of leaves. "Look Reindeer Games I don't know what you are up to. But I know that it can't be anything good".
"I am not doing anything, Stark." Loki snarked, facing a rather large tree in front of him, instead of his used-to-be-enemy.
"Then why am I not dead! I'm should be gone! But, my heart is thumping in my chest, as if I were alive and well." Tony countered, raising his voice in anger and worry. Loki stood up and stepped towards Tony. But, before he could say a word, both men heard a groan. They turned to see Natasha sitting up, her earlier wounds healed.
"W-what, why?" Natasha said confusion laced in her voice. She looked around, taking in the beautiful scenery that was the Asgardian forest. "Oh my god, Tony! What happened, why is Loki here? How?"
Loki interrupted even if her words were for Tony, "It seems that we have time traveled, Romanoff. Do not blame me, as I do not know why I am here. From what I can gather, we are in the Asgardian Royal woods.".
"WHAT" Natasha and Tony screamed in unison.
"But" Loki interrupted. "There is not a way to get us back, too many variables and risks.", The three deflated losing hope of ever coming home. Loki continued, a sad tone laced in his voice, "Although, as I was waiting for the two of you to wake up I thought back. My thoughts wandered towards, the Titan who, I presume, prompted, in one way or another, our demise, yes.". Natasha and Tony looked at each other, not following Loki's exact train of thought, and nodded. "So, as we have traveled through time, we may fix or prevent certain events from occurring and beat the Mad Titan before it is too late."
Tony sat up, his back straighter than before, "So, we are basically gonna prevent Thanos with all of the info we have and try to settle down here. But, from what I know we kinda beat Thanps without any intervention."
Natasha spoke, "Well ok, but was it really worth the I guess timeline that we went through too defeat Thanos. Plus, we might as well help our past selves, it's not like we have anywhere else to go."
Tony nodded accepting the truth in her words without a fight. Loki looked between the two, silently relishing the feeling of being home back in the palace, memories good and bad flowing through his mind. For a moment, it was peaceful, the sun shone down through the lush leaves, as the trio basked in the few moments of peace and normality that they were going to have for a long time.
Natasha broke the silence, a cold tone to her voice, "Look, Loki, I will trust you for now, but pull anything on me or Tony, and I will not hesitate to leave you to kill you,"
Tony looked surprised at the 'or tony' part of that statement, staring at her in not-so-subtle disbelief. Loki just nodded, understanding Natasha's hesitance and mistrusts around working with him. Loki stood after a few moments, his usual grace faltering.
"Well, we must start moving towards the palace, nightfall in the Asgardian wilderness is not pleasant." The two mortals seemed startled by the immortal's words, swiftly, the trio walked Loki leading the way. They engaged in small talk with each other. Soon enough, the heroes formed the base for a plan to save worlds. Walking for what seemed like an hour, the rag-tag group silently took in the scenery. Ginormous trees covered the clear sky, only letting sparse patches through. Beautiful vines twisted around the trees, and vibrant plants glowed in the sunset. Purple insects, pink leaves, and dark yellow barks made the forest look enchanting. The wind whistled, moving lightly through the trees, carrying the exotic fragrance of the flora of Asgard.
Suddenly sharp thuds wracked the tranquil woods. Faint yelling alerted Loki, Natasha, and Tony. The three stood their ground, ready for any soldiers or robbers to attack.

"Who's there?!" a familiar voice rumbled through the dense trees, approaching the rigid trio. The unknown group seemed to slow as they advanced. Six shadows stretched by the setting sun crept out from the dense forest.
Younger versions of Thor, Loki, Sif, and the Warriors of Three peeped from the trees, weaponry aimed at the trio.
The six Asgardians gazed in bewilderment at the ragtag group, primarily at the two Loki's. The trio unwound slightly, yet the six Asgardians remained tense weapons moved to their sides. The Loki of 2018 whispered to Tony and Natasha. Suddenly he turned to the larger group and quickly explained, his voice smooth, "I am Loki though, I think you noticed that. I have come from the year 2018, and they are Natasha and Tony, these Midgaurdians and I are here because we died in our respective times. I do not know why or how, but we traveled through time and perhaps dimensions.".
Loki's voice took on a darker tone as he finished talking. Tony and Natasha glanced back at Sif, Thor, past-Loki, and the Warriors of Three. They looked at the six expressing through their body language and appearances that this was the cold, hard truth. Thor looked tense, putting a hand on Loki's shoulders. Loki was beside him, suspicious to his other self's claim yet horrified at what could have resulted in his death. He observed other-Loki noticing the tired look on his face. His body was tense with the fear of... something as if something was coming. He did not know what or who, but Loki knew that one should not be this petrified of something that is not there.
Sif and the Warriors of Three looked skeptically at the trio. Not trusting what Loki was saying."How can we believe you? How do we know you are not an enemy? How do we know this isn't a trick?" Sif said, throwing a look at the Loki at Thor's side. "Sif, I presume that I, even at the best of my ability, cannot produce such a powerful energy signature." both Loki's declared at the same time. They looked at each other in surprise as everyone nodded.
"Well, how could we prove to you that we are from the future which we are." Tony proposed. 2018 Loki perked up at that an idea forming in his head.
"Wait, what if I could tell you of Ragnarok." 2018 Loki offered.
"Oh yeah, when Thor came back to Earth after your death, he told us that the Asgardians needed a place to stay because, Asgard was destroyed because, his older sister, Hela. Was that her name?" Natasha asked. The other Asgardians looked horrified and confused.
"Yes, Lady Natasha," Loki confirmed, looking at her. "But, the only person who can confirm our claims is, my mother, and the All-Father."Loki turned to the
