God, you’re cocky when you’re nervous.

Jungkook enters the Red Pulse. Heavy music. Thick air. Smoke. Men watching and girls watching harder.

(Revenant, masked) Weapons.

(Hands over one knife and a gun but keeps one knife hidden in boot) Happy?
Inside. The room is blood red, the bar lit like a line of fire. Jungkook scans the crowd. Eyes lock with a man in black, seated in shadows.
Park Jimin
(in ear mic) That him?
Jeon Jungkook
Dark suit. Silver rings. Whiskey glass like he owns the world. Eyes like God forgot him.
Park Jimin
That’s Taehyung.
Jeon Jungkook
The Taehyung?
Park Jimin
Revenant boss. The Devil with a handsome face. Do not engage.
Kim Taehyung
(Speaks without moving eyes) You’re staring too long, Serpent.
Kim Taehyung
*lits up the lighter*
Jeon Jungkook
(Approaches slowly) Didn’t realize eyes had a time limit.
Kim Taehyung

Jeon Jungkook
I thought this was neutral ground.

Taehyung sips his drink, smirks faintly. Jungkook sits beside him, too close for enemy lines. Their knees touch.

You were sent for intel.

You’re psychic now?
Kim Taehyung
No. Just watching. Closely.
Jeon Jungkook
Then watch this.
Jungkook leans in, lips nearly brushing Taehyung’s ear.
Jeon Jungkook
Tell your men to stop watching my ass. Or I’ll give them a show they’ll never forget.
Kim Taehyung
Tempting. But I don’t share my toys.

I’m not yours.

In your dreams.

No. In yours. I always haunt prettier.
They stare. The world around them fades. A Revenant informant passes behind, but neither man blinks.

Taehyung grips the glass tighter. Jungkook smiles like a dare.
Park Jimin
(urgent in ear) Kook. Abort. Info guy's dead. Revenants found out.
Jeon Jungkook
Copy. Leaving.
Kim Taehyung
Running already?
Jeon Jungkook
Not running. Saving the next round for later.
Kim Taehyung
Leave the back exit. My men won’t shoot if you smell like me.

No doubt, I think he’s testing you.

Jungkook cuts through the alley, heading into abandoned industrial yards behind Hongdae.
The streetlights are dead here. Perfect.

But not smarter.
Jungkook suddenly vanishes between two buildings. The Revenant agent enters the narrow path.

(Whispers) You Serpent pups make this too easy.

(Behind him) You Revenant mutts bark too soon.

(wraps an arm around the man’s throat, drags him into shadows)
Revenant Agent
Y-You won’t kill me, Right?
Jeon Jungkook
Oh, I don’t need to kill you.
Jeon Jungkook
Just send you back… bleeding enough that Taehyung gets the message.
Revenant Agent
You’re fucking insane.
Jeon Jungkook
No, I am just tired of being underestimated.
Jungkook slams the man against the wall. Knife slides through the agent's skin and blood draws at the jawline with a precise cut.
Park Jimin
Kook, you sure about this?
Park Jimin
Taehyung might take this as provocation.
Jeon Jungkook
That’s the point.
Jungkook carves a small serpent symbol below the Revenant's ear. Blood drips onto the man’s collar.
Jeon Jungkook
Go home, mutt. Tell your master that the snake doesn’t run. The snake strikes.
Revenant Agent
(Shaking) You just declared war.
Jeon Jungkook
He declared lust and I returned the favor.
Jungkook vanishes into the night. The agent collapses against the alley wall, bleeding but alive.
Taehyung receives a message. A Revenant brings him the agent’s shirt. The blood-stained serpent carved into the cloth.
Min Yoongi
You want me to retaliate (respond)?
Min Yoongi
You’re smiling. That’s not good.
Kim Taehyung
It means he’s more interesting than I expected.
Min Yoongi
He assaulted your man.
Kim Taehyung
No. He seduced him with violence. I respect that.
Kim Taehyung

I want him obsessed.

You’re not playing chess anymore. You’re hunting.

Taehyung closes the message, eyes cold and gleaming. The Revenant boss stands and walks to the window, gazing into Seoul’s dark skyline.
Kim Taehyung
He gave me a bite. Let’s see how deep he’ll let me cut.

A hard slap echoes across the compound. Jungkook’s lip splits. Blood trickles but he does not move.

You want to rule The Serpents?

Then prove it.
Gwangho throws down a Revenant prisoner.
Jeon Gwangho (JK Father)
Kill him. Right now.
Jeon Jungkook
He’s just a courier.
Jeon Gwangho (JK Father)
Then start with the fingers.

(Whispers) This isn't loyalty. It's theater.

Everything is theater. And you're either the actor or the blood on stage.
A blade is handed to Jungkook and then he kneels. The courier looks at him, eyes wide with fear.
Jungkook raises the knife and at that moment, a black car pulls up. A single white box is carried forward by a silent Revenant in gloves. Delivered to Jeon Gwangho.
Guard
Sir… it’s from Kim Taehyung.
Jeon Gwangho (JK Father)
(Scowling) What the fuck is this?
Box opens and inside a red velvet collar. A serpent charm dangles from it. No note. Just… implication.
Jeon Gwangho (JK Father)
(Dark laughter) He thinks my son’s his pet.
Jeon Jungkook
I’m no one’s pet.
Jeon Gwangho (JK Father)
Then prove it.
Jungkook stares at the collar and then, he turns to the prisoner.
Jeon Jungkook
(Whispers) Close your eyes.
In one clean motion, Jungkook slits the throat and the blood sprays over Jungkook’s face. The courier dies in seconds.
Jeon Gwangho (JK Father)
Good boy.
Jeon Jungkook
(Voice hollow) Don’t call me that.
Jeon Gwangho (JK Father)
Oh? You’d prefer if he did?
Jungkook storms away, hands trembling. Park Jimin catches him behind the walls.
Park Jimin
Want to scream?
Jeon Jungkook
No. I want to break him. Both of them.
Later that night, Taehyung receives a reply.
A small black box. Inside: a single bloodied Revenant ring.
Jungkook’s message is clear that he played the role but he won’t forget.
Min Yoongi
He killed the courier.
Kim Taehyung
Hmm. The leash cuts deeper than I thought.
Kim Taehyung
Now? I make him beg for it.

Obedience isn’t loyalty and punishment isn’t discipline... it’s humiliation dressed in honor.
But both men tasted blood today.
One with trembling hands. One with a smirk behind velvet boxes.
And neither of them knows how much they already belong to the other.
