Late morning, Emma and Erika are heading for the cafeteria.
Emma Jaye
Man, it's been a while since I've had a work-out like that. I'm sweating like a waterfall.
Erika Schlödder

My bad. So, given that the boys are off doing, who knows what, what do you want to do?

Rest for now. I think they said something about going to get Dutch's haircut fixed. Hans isn't the best communicator.

True. Although, Dutch isn't the best when he's around you either.
Erika Schlödder

They enter the cafeteria.

Erika Schlödder
No, I don't recognise her either. Is that a sword that she's got?

Japanese sword, arguably one of the best look. Personally I ptefer the Scottish Claymore. Her uniform doesn't look standard Blitz either.

Just then, the woman turns to them. Emma and Erika awkwardly wave. She approaches.
Yuki Tadashi
Hi there, I'm Yuki Tadashi. I've just been registered here. Who are you two?
Emma Jaye
Emma Jaye, pleasure to meet you Yuki.
Erika Schlödder
Erika Schlödder, nice meeting you.
Yuki Tadashi
Emma and Erika. Those are easy enough names to say and remember. Sorry, I'm sure you could tell I'm not from here.
Erika Schlödder
Where are you from?
Yuki Tadashi
Hokkaido, Japan. I'm here for a while, Richter-san just had me recruited but we're struggling to get me here permanently.
Emma Jaye

Wow, but how do you take off from in here?

Well, Nachtvogel here is a VTOL. All I have to do is punch in a security code and the roof opens up. What to see.
Erika Schlödder
*climbs into Nachtvogel* Observe.
The engines start, and she punches something into the control panel. The roof begins to fold open.
Erika Schlödder
Hop on you two.
Emma Jaye
Now you're in for a treat. Hope you don't get air sick. *climbs in*
Yuki Tadashi
Air sick? I've worked in the navy for 2 years, I'm probably immune to all forms of motion sickness. *climbs in*
Nachtvogel takes off and soon they're airborne. As they fly, they pass a helicopter.
Emma Jaye
We've been spotted. Looks like some of the brass will have to explain to the pilot that they didn't see anything. *laughs*
Yuki Tadashi
What do you mean?
Emma Jaye
No other military outfit knows we exist; and none have anything like Nachtvogel either.
Erika Schlödder
That helicopter shouldn't have been here, the computer would have warned me to steer clear. Not to mention it had no distinct markings.
Yuki Tadashi
Are you saying it was a rogue?
Erika Schlödder
Perhaps...

That was a Blitz VTOL... Hmm, perhaps I can find a much easier way in than I thought. *switches on aerial radar*
The hideout

Hang on everyone; I'm going to set him down at an old airfield.
Yuki Tadashi
The one left abandoned?
Erika Schlödder
That's the one.
Yuki Tadashi

Emma Jaye
Just our secret spot. Blitz used it as a temporary place, then cleared out. Erika and I took it over as a "girls only" hideout.
Yuki Tadashi
Wow, that's pretty cool. Who else knows about it?
Erika Schlödder
Just Emma and I; and now you too.
Emma Jaye
Only special friends and family allowed.
Yuki Tadashi
Wait... You think of me as a friend? We just met.
Erika Schlödder

Emma Jaye

Yuki Tadashi

Don't worry, you'll have plenty of time to process it; over a beer, maybe a game of pool or darts. Your choice.
