In the Omega verse,society is divided into three primary secondary genders.
1. Alpha – Strong, dominant, protective. Often leaders. Can have ruts (strong desire to mate).
2. Beta – “Normal” compared to the others. No special heats or ruts. Usually the middle ground.
3. Omega – Gentle or nurturing (but not always). Go into heat (time when they really want to mate and can get pregnant — even male Omegas).
Pheromones: every alpha and omega have unique scent. Which are called pheromones it differs for everyone.
Heat & Rut: Biological cycles for Omegas (heat) and Alphas (rut). They come once in repeated cycles. When both alphas, and omegas lose control and they just want to mate.
Mating bond: Special emotional or biological connection.
Mating: having sex.
Betas doesn't have any pheromones so they don't have problems like rut or heat. Like alphas and omegas they can't sense their mates. They are neutral ( similar to human)

So the plot is like
Four richest families of different continents settled in new york. Being the male omega of one of them and being the only male omega in all the generations.
Kieran just finished his under graduation and to complete his masters he wanted to go out of the country to study.
