The world is divided into six factions..

These factions are on the basis of a person's spiritual ability.

Tamers are people with the ability to tame and control fauna and flora.

Tamers consist of two types the Beast Tamers and Plant Tamers

Manipulators are the ones who can manipulate elements. They can control any one of the elements, fire, water, earth, air and metal. Some geniuses have the ability to control more than one element. But this is not so common.

Pugilist are the ones who are physically more stronger than the others. They are also more talented in wielding weapons.

Alchemist are the people who makes artefacts. They are really common like the pugilist. So they are usually less respected compared to others.

Pharmacist are people with the ability to refine pills. They are also well versed in medicine and there are people who specialise in poison. Because of their affinity to medicine they are also the ones who work as physicians.

At last there are the sorcerers.

Sorcerers have the most scope. Since they have the ability to cast spells and use magic. There are people who specialise in arrays.

There are light sorcerers and dark sorcerers, then there are healers, physicians are mostly healers, and so on.

Even though sorcerers are one faction, the gap between each group within sorcery is really wide. There even tends to be fights between these groups, especially the light and dark users.

Every single person is born with any one of these abilities. And every year on the Awakening Day every one year olds who haven't been tested will be tested.

The test has two phases. The first one is to test the spiritual ability.

The second will test the spiritual strength.

Spiritual strength is the determining factor of a person's innate talent.

By practicing and cultivating a person can increase their spiritual strength.

Genetics play a major role in a person's spiritual ability. Even though there are exceptions a person will most likely inherit their relative's ability.

I entered the massive intricately designed gate to the beginning of my new life in the infamous Loursaile Academy.

Loursaile Academy is one of the topmost high school in the country.

And I have to spend the next four years of my life here, just great. To make it even worse it is a boarding school, so I can only go home during holidays.

I let out a sigh and turned towards my twin brother who had his face glued to his phone.

I guess I forgot to mention. Both me and my twin brother got into Loursaile Academy.

My twin brother is also a sorcerer.

So ever since we were little we had to prioritise in combo moves.

And it is because of our combo moves that we were able to get a scholarship to study here.

I grabbed his hand and dragged him along with me.

" Do you know where our dorms are?" I asked him.

"Yup, Its good that this place offers a map of the entire academy in their website."
