The rest of the dinner was awkward as James dodged the subject and tried talking about other things
When they were finished James paid for the bill and they left

Ofcourse dear. Be careful you too, I saw that there's a storm coming
Silence filled the air as Alice drove away
James went to his car where Jamie was waiting
He got in without saying anything and starts to drive

*glance at him* ...baby your pheromones are leaking..are you okay?

*clench the steering wheel* Okay?! OKAY?! Do you know how much you embarrassed me in front of my mom?!?
Jamie
How did I embarrass you??
James
You made me seem like a lier and an incompetent alpha!
Jamie

But James only gave him the cold shoulder
The car was quiet for about 10 minutes
The sound was only broken by the rain that slowly came down harder and harder

*Looks outside* It's really pouring...I hope your mom made it home safe..
James was looking at the empty road as an idea sprang into his head...
Suddenly James curved and stopped the car by the side of the road

What's going on? *Looks at him*

Get out before I drag you out!

It's fuccking pouring outside?!
Without another word James left the car and walked to Jamie's side
He throws the door open, unbuckles him, grabs him and throws him out

Ah! *falls hard onto the concrete*

What's wrong with you!
James
*Looks down at him* Get yourself home since your so independent

It's only a 2-hour walk. *shrug*
James
*walks back to the car* See you back home.
Jamie
Hey! *starts to stand up*
But before he could James drove away
Jamie could only hopelessly watch as the car disappeared into the rain

*in disbelief* Did he really just leave me here??
In the distance, rumble from thunder could be heard....
As it slowly got closer...

An hour has passed since Jaamie was thrown out of the car
He was frozen by shock 10 minutes before he started his walk home
He was shivering and stumbling

*hugging himself* ha..ha...*squinting to see*

(How long have I walked...)
A loud thunder was echoing above him and the sky lit up by lightning

*cough* *stumble* ugh... c..come on..
Headlights hit him from behind
Many cars had passed but they either didn't see him wave or they just ignored him
He kept taking small and slow steps forward
But he notices that the car never goes past him and instead hears a screech and doors slamming

*slowly turns around*
Two figures were running towards him, they were screaming....but what were they screaming?
Jamie's ears start ringing, and he loses his balance and falls hard onto the concrete
His body had reached it's limit

*Looks around*
Where am I? *mumble*
He starts to walk forward
Jamie
..It's like an endless sea..
It was quiet and peaceful
The sky was shining bright with no clouds in sight
Jamie's body felt warm from the heat of the sun
It was so beautiful Jamie started to wish he could stay there forever
A soft rumble could be heard behind him
As he turns around, he sees rain and thunder come towards him
He's filled with fear as he starts to back away
Unable to screaming, he kept falling

*jolted awake gasping for air* HA!
Jamie
Haa..Haa..Haa..*clutching his chest* (b..breathe!!)
After a few minutes, he manages to catch his breath and is able to look around
He felt a small sting on his right arm and as he looks down he notices a needle in his arm, transporting fluids
He hears voices outside his door as people walk back and forth
Jamie attempted to sit up but as he did, the door slides open
？？？
*Looks inside* A..ah! Hey!
Anthony
Lay down! *rushes towards him*
Anthony
You have a really high fever..! *gently lays him down again*
Anthony
Your throat must be dry. I'll get you some water and tell them nurses that you're awake
He turns to leave but stopps
Anthony
*turns back to Jamie* Please do not sit up...
He turns to leave once again
Anthony
*turns again* My name is Anthony by the way...I'll talk to you more after the nurses check up on you
After he said that, he finally leaves the room

... *stares at the door*
