Detective Lyra Vex a world renowned science detective was known for her extraordinary IQ. She was the second best detective in the world. Lyra was able the most complex cases ever known. She was as fearless as lion, intelligent, observant and good at combat.

One day Lyra was facing with a crime that challenged her skills. In her science lab, Lyra received a letter. It was written on the letter priority A+.

"Wow, looks like I got a new case to solve." Lyra said excitedly as open the letter.

At that moment, Danny came in. Danny is Lyra's assistant detective. His strong in combat, a sharp observer and the third-best detective in the detective society.

"Hi, Miss Lyra." Danny called out getting Lyra's attention.

"Oh.... hello Danny be careful were you are stepping. I placed a new device I was working on." Lyra's state calmly as she looked up at Danny.

"Okay... I got that. What's new are we doing today?" Danny replied to Lyra as he grabbed a seat opposite her.

"Good for you to ask." Lyra declared as she felt happy and curious about the new challenge the detective society as to offer. "Okay go no." Danny commented nonchalantly.

"The detective society has sent this letter to my lab." Lyra stated holding the letter in her hands.

"Okay...read it out loud." Danny answered looking intrigued.

"It reads, Dear detective Lyra Vex, the detective society has bought you a new mission to accomplish. We have been receiving multiple murder cases involving mysterious toxins that alter its molecular structure through time. Your mission is to uncover the murder and take him down. Behind the paper are the clues, victims and leads of this criminal. Good luck with this mission, detective Lyra." Lyra read out loud while Danny took notes.

"Well..did the detective society just told you good luck?" Danny exclaimed looking at Lyra. "Ooh..Danny. Let's solve this case." Lyra chuckled.

"**Victims:**

**Dr. Elara Vance** - A renowned biochemist and researcher at Omnia Corp, found dead in her lab with traces of the toxin in her bloodstream.

**Victor LaGraine** - A former Omnia Corp employee turned whistleblower, murdered in his home with the same toxin detected.

**Dr. Julian Styles** - A leading expert in temporal mechanics, killed in a suspicious "accident" at a conference, with toxin traces found in his autopsy.

**Clues:**

A cryptic message on Dr. Vance's lab wall: "Time's corruption lies within."

A strange, glowing residue near Victor LaGraine's body, matching the toxin's molecular signature.

A suspicious email on Dr. Styles' phone from an unknown sender: "Your theories will soon be obsolete."

**Omnia Corp** - A powerful biotechnology company with a history of controversial research.

**The Temporal Mechanics Society** - A secretive organization studying time manipulation.

"So where are going to start from, miss Lyra?" Danny asked curiously. "Well... first, don't call me miss Lyra. Do Lyra not miss Lyra don't address me like am the president of America." Lyra stated teasingly while smiling at Danny. "Okay, Lyra. What should we begin with?" Danny replied to Lyra as he felt inside surprised of how calm, relaxed and humble, Lyra is. "Okay, let's begin by connecting everything on the board." Lyra declared cheerfully.

"Okay sounds good." Danny agreed, began helping Lyra with the board thing.

"Hey Danny, Can you continue with the case board? I need to make a quick call." Lyra asked politely.

"Sure." Danny answered nonchalantly while putting up the clues and victims on the case board.

In that moment, Lyra reached into her pocket for her phone to call Mindi.

Lyra: Hi girl, need your expertises with a case.

Mindi: ooooooh, hello Lyra, long time. No problem.

Lyra; thanks, come to my lab.

Mindi; Don't worry, I will be there. my hacking skill are topnotch. I hope I can help you with anything.

Lyra; Already know that girl, why could I call you for this important mission? Bye!!!

Mindi; Bye!!!

Lyra hangs up the call with thought of that this mission is not going to do easy. Meanwhile, Danny was done with the case board.

"Lyra, am done, Lyra, Lyra." Danny shouted gently tapping Lyra on the shoulder snapping her out of her thoughts.

"Ooooooh, good." Lyra stated scratching her head.

Noticing Lyra's actions, Danny asks concerned," Lyra, is everything ok?" Lyra replied trying to push the thought away," everything is okay."

"Doesn't look like it? you can tell me." Danny comments look at Lyra with a gentle smile giving Lyra some assurance.

"Fine, I feel like I can't do this mission." Lyra stated looking down trying to avoid Danny's glaze.

"Oooh, come on Detective Lyra Vex, you're the greatest detective in the world. Look at how many danger cases you have solved."

Danny declared reassuringly.

"I know..I know all of that. However, this cases reminds of how my dad died. It is a similar attack just like these people." Lyra expressed looking sad.

"Don't worry, I think you are going to solve this case. Am sure you are going to make your dad proud." Danny commented calmly.

Just then, the door suddenly opens, Mindi appears and steps in the lab. Hearing the door open, Lyra and Danny turned around.

"Hey Lyra." Mindi remarks while looking at Danny.

"Oooh, Mindi...hey, you came faster than I thought." Lyra expressed in astonishment. "Mm mm, who's he? I haven't seen him around" Mindi asked while giving Danny a handshake.

"Ooh, this is Danny my assistant. Danny, this is Mindi my favorite topnotch hacker a.k.a. my best friend." Lyra introduced them.

"Nice to meet you, Mindi." Danny declares. "Me too." Mindi answers. "

Okay, so enough with introduction let's begin with the case." Lyra replies showing them the cases board.

"Okay, Guys we need to solve this case." Lyra stated looking firm.

"Okay.... let's do this." Mindi says cheerfully. "Mindi, I need you to hack into Omnia Crop system. See if you can find something important." Lyra declared at Mindi who already taking out her laptop to work.

Meanwhile, Danny was busy looking at the case board trying to connect the dots.

"Danny." Lyra called out bringing to his attention.

"Yes, detective." Danny replied.

"What are you thinking about? You found something interesting?" Lyra questioned noticing Danny's face looking he has an idea. "Yeah, I do. Have noticed something weird?" Danny remarked curiously.

"Yeah, like the murder is attacking Omnia Corp and their business activities." Lyra exclaimed then looking at Danny.

"Yeah, I think the murder is trying to get revenge for something the company did." Danny shouted out in excitement.

"Yeah, Danny, you're indeed right. That's why the massage says Time's Corruption lies within." Lyra expressed.

Simultaneously, Mindi was finally found something on the computer and called out," Lyra and Danny I think I have found something for you."

"Go on, I'm listening." Lyra stated making Danny very attentive to what Mindi about to say.

"I also hook it up on some websites for information. Six years ago, Omnia Crop were suspect for serious crime of stealing their competitors and business partner's confidential information including some illegal activities ." Mindi explained making Lyra recall some forgotten memories.

"Mindi, you are on to something, continue." Lyra expressed looking like she's connecting the dots.

"Okay, I broke into their computer systems. According to their documents it looks like the story was true. I think someone found out the truth about Omnia Crop's doing. He/ She is taking revenge." Mindi explained.

At that moment, Lyra seats down completely speechless and tired.

Noticing this Danny came towards her looking worried and asked," Everything okay?" "Yeah, it's just I had a flashback." Lyra replies appearing more determined than ever.

"Okay, explain " Danny said in a serious tone.

"My dad was CEO of Vex Corp which is now mine. My dad was a long time partners with Omnia Corp. When the online news about Omnia Crop came out my dad decided to investigate the matter. However, he was found dead in his car. When I inherited the company as the sole heiress I decided to cut ties with Omnia Crop." Lyra explained calmly trying to hide her emotions.

"Wow... that's how your dad died." Mindi said gently while coming to hug, Lyra.

"Yeah, the weirdest thing was my dad was killed with the same toxins used on those same people." Lyra declared calmly. Simultaneously, Danny was quietly listening finally spoke," Okay, our theory is suddenly true. What's next?"

Lyra answers with determination in her heart," we find solid evidence meaning we need to make this case a top secret to avoid unnecessary problems."

"Okay, detective Lyra. But I think we need to travel to New York City that's where the company is." Danny suggested.

"Yeah, that's right ." Lyra expressed nonchalantly.

At that moment, Mindi jumped in excitement and said," new city, new adventure." Just then, Danny quickly states," we can use my private jet. That way it doesn't attracted attention."

"Good idea, dective Danny Boy." Lyra expressed teasingly.

"Ooooooh, this mission can't get any better." Mindi noted while jumping.

"Oooh, yeah...I forgot to tell you guys. For this important mission we need to use my lastest gadgets which was invented by me." Lyra commented while walking Danny and Mindi to a special door.

Lyra opens the door with a fingerprint. As they enter, Danny and Mindi couldn't help but marvel at the collection of gadgets.

"Lyra, how did you manage to create all these?" Danny asked in astonishment. "Well....my dad taught me how to do that, when I was a kid." Lyra answered.

"Wow." Mindi added.

"Okay, Mindi this for you." Lyra stated while getting a laptop for from the shelf.

"What's that?" Mindi questioned curiously. "Well... this is a laptop with a unique touch. This laptop is cannot traced or hacked. Plus not mention that it is high-tech, the next level." Lyra explains making Mindi jump in excitement.

"Danny...this for you." Lyra calls out while getting a high-tech smartwatch.

"What does it do?" Danny asked.

"Well... this smartwatch can you give the status of your health, advice during combat, and practically do anything you tell it to do." Lyra explains while Danny puts the watch on his wrist.

"Okay, but before that you need the system to know you has its owner." Lyra stated making it clear to Danny.

"I think that's all for today. We can all rest up for today because tomorrow we are traveling to New York City." Lyra declared in a serious tone.

"Okay, goodbye guys." Danny says then leaves the lab leaving Lyra and Mindi.

At that moment, Lyra says cheerfully," look like we are going to have a girl's night. Sleep over at my place."

"Yeah, totally." Mindi commented
