Situation 1: "Split the Team"
The air inside the Hokage’s office was thick with tension — mostly because Naruto wouldn’t shut up, Sasuke was glaring, and Tsunade had already finished three cups of sake trying to tolerate them.
Lady Tsunade
"Your mission is simple,"
She said at last, slamming the scroll onto the desk.
Lady Tsunade
"Recon in the Rain village. One week. Minimal contact. Stay hidden."
Naruto Uzumaki
“Piece of cake!”
Naruto grinned, punching the air.
Sasuke Uchiha
“You said that last time. We almost died.”
Naruto Uzumaki
“TCH, not my fault someone can't dodge kunai like me,”
Sasuke Uchiha
“You ran straight into a trap.”
Naruto Uzumaki
“I was the trap.”
Sakura stepped between them with a dramatic sigh, flipping her hair.
Sakura Haruno
"Come on boys...can't you two just get along?"
She turned to Sasuke, smiling sweetly.
Sakura Haruno
“And maybe we can work together… you and me. Like old times?”
Sasuke didn’t even blink.
Sasuke Uchiha
“I’d rather work with Naruto than flirt through a mission.”
Naruto choked. Sakura looked like someone had slapped her with a scroll.
Kakashi finally looked up from his orange-covered smut book.
Kakashi Hatake
“Oof. Cold-blooded.”
Sasuke didn’t reply. He was already walking toward the door....
Time Skip: 🌲 Two Days Later – Deep Forest, Rain Village
Thunder rumbled. Mud clung to their boots. The sky was as grey as Kakashi’s hair.
Kakashi Hatake
“I say we split into two groups,”
Kakashi offered, eyes lazily scanning the soaked terrain.
Kakashi Hatake
“It’ll be faster to cover ground.”
Naruto Uzumaki
“Who’s with who?”
Kakashi Hatake
“I’ll go with Sakura,”
Kakashi replied far too quickly.
Kakashi Hatake
“You two — try not to kill each other.”
Naruto Uzumaki
"I'm not going with him!"
Sasuke said... already turning
Naruto Uzumaki
“I didn’t agree to this—!”
Sasuke Uchiha
"You never do"

🌧️ Hours Later — Somewhere Deep in the Trees...
Naruto’s cloak was soaked. His mood worse.
Naruto Uzumaki
"Stupid Sasuke… stupid rain…"
Sasuke Uchiha
“You’re loud,”
Sasuke muttered from ahead.
Naruto Uzumaki
“And you’re bossy!”
Sasuke Uchiha
“I’m focused.”
Naruto Uzumaki
“You’re an asshole.”
Sasuke Uchiha
“Maybe. But you still followed me.”
Naruto opened his mouth to snap back — but then he realized… they were completely alone. The forest was quiet. No Sakura. No Kakashi. Just them.
Sasuke finally stopped walking and turned
Sasuke Uchiha
“I said stop talking,”
Naruto scoffed, stepping closer.
Naruto Uzumaki
“Or what, you’ll glare me to death again?”
Sasuke stepped in. Close. Too close.
He leaned in, his breath warm despite the cold.
Sasuke Uchiha
"I’ll shut you up properly.”
Naruto Uzumaki
"Wait— you’re not—"
Sasuke’s hand slid behind his neck, gripping just firm enough to make Naruto’s words trail off.
Sasuke Uchiha
“You’ve been mouthing off since we left the village.”
Naruto Uzumaki
“Y-yeah? So?”
Sasuke Uchiha
“So maybe it’s time I remind you who always wins between us.”
Their lips were this close when—
CRACK. A branch snapped nearby.
Naruto flinched. Sasuke paused, sharing a dark look.
Sasuke Uchiha
“Fox senses tingling?”
But that tension? That heat?
Oh, it was just getting started.
And there were still six days left of this mission…
Episode 3
Situation: "Lines Crossed"
The rain had eased, but the tension had not.
Sasuke hadn’t said a word since their “almost” moment in the woods. Naruto, equally silent, walked a few steps behind — cheeks pink, heart pounding from memories that wouldn't stop replaying.
They arrived at the camp clearing where Sakura was tending to the fire and Kakashi, as usual, was leaned against a tree with his orange smut novel in hand.
Sakura Haruno
“You’re late,”
Naruto Uzumaki
“We ran into a lot of branches,”
Naruto muttered, avoiding eye contact with everyone — especially Sasuke.
Kakashi Hatake
“Branches, huh?”
Kakashi said, not looking up from his book.
Kakashi Hatake
“Is that what kids are calling it these days?”
Kakashi finally looked up, single visible eye crinkled in amusement.
Kakashi Hatake
“You’re flushed. Sasuke’s brooding harder than usual. I’ve seen enough Icha Icha plots to know tension when I see it.”
Sakura paused, chopsticks halfway to her mouth.
Sasuke’s gaze sharpened like a blade.
Naruto Uzumaki
“W-We were just scouting!”
Kakashi said. He shut the book and strolled over, ruffling Naruto’s hair with one gloved hand.
Kakashi Hatake
“Relax. You’re allowed to have fun out here too.”
Naruto swatted him off, laughing nervously.
Naruto Uzumaki
"Stop it Sensei~"
But Kakashi didn't back off. Instead, he brushed something off Naruto’s shoulder — lingering just a second too long.
Sasuke’s eyes narrowed.
Very. Slowly.
Kakashi leaned in slightly, lowering his voice:
Kakashi Hatake
"Careful, Naruto. Some eyes are always watching.”
Naruto Uzumaki
“What does that mean—?”
Before he could finish, Sasuke stepped in.
Sasuke Uchiha
“Don’t touch him.”
His voice was ice. Low. Dangerous.
Kakashi blinked, then — smirked.
Sasuke Uchiha
“I said. Don’t touch him.”
The silence was thick. Sakura looked between them, confused.
Naruto, meanwhile, was frozen, cheeks burning — not from the rain this time.
Kakashi Hatake
“Relax, Sasuke. He’s just your teammate, right?”
Sasuke didn’t answer. He just stared. Eyes burning red — a flash of Sharingan, quick and warning.
Kakashi raised both hands in mock surrender.
Kakashi Hatake
“Alright, alright. Message received.”
He turned away casually, but Naruto didn’t miss the glint of amusement in his sensei’s eye.
