Hi guys! This is the first story I'm taking seriously. I'm new so there may be parts that're too cringey. I'm just 14 years old and still learning, so please bare with me. Updates can be slow sometimes because I'm currently taking online classes.

The following scenes, characters and places are all fictional. This story is only created by the author's imagination so some parts can be too much.

PROLOGUE: WELCOME HOME

"What am I doing here?! Help! Somebody help me!", I screamed out of my lungs in fear that they might do something bad or make me do something out of my will.

I'm totally confused! What am I doing here?! As far as I know, I'm just going back to my condo after my shift on a bakery.

"Shut up. If not for the boss's orders, we would've killed you a hundred times in a hundred different ways."

My eyes widened.

Hell, I'm dead meat!

The next thing that happened was far beyond my imagination. Three gunshots, shot... on the three men that took me here.

And before I knew it, I'm already trembling in fear.

What is it that I've done in my past life to receive this kind of treatment?

"How dare you threaten my guest, you lowly creatures."

A man wearing a tuxedo came out of nowhere.

"B-boss. Please kill us for committing such a sin!", the three men bowed while their hands and legs are trembling in fear.

"Glad that you know it.", after he said those words, he shot those three directly on their heads.

I trembled more and bursted in tears. I never once saw this kind of violence in my entire life! I'm so scared that I feel like I would pass out anytime.

And then he turned his attention onto me.

My eyes widened more. I could only pray to have a better life next time.

"Dainty... don't act all scared like you didn't kno—"

I can't take it anymore... I'm feeling dizzy and all.

Oh, how I wish this will be all over when I wake up.

"Dainty..."

Come to think of it, I haven't really done anything good like helping others or even going to church every Sunday.

"Dainty!"

Guess hell is my only choice of destination.

"What is this...", I woke up in a coffin surrounded by white flowers wearing a white dress.

I'm confused.

A coffin. A white dress. And white flowers?

Am I dead? Good thing that it's all over now. I don't have to suffer anymore.

"Glad you're awake, you've been sleeping for nearly one month."

Goosebumps is real! Shit, who is that?

Fear?

I held my chest and felt my heart beating. If I'm dead, wasn't I supposed not to feel fear? Then, why am I feeling this?

****, I'm still alive. Goddammit!

Wait, then why am I in a coffin?

Okay, things are getting creepier and creepier.

First, I was kidnapped. Second, I'm in coffin. Third, there's a voice that came out of nowhere. And lastly, I'm fucking alive!

"Dainty."

I stopped when I heard someone said my name.

I got out of bed and looked everywhere just to find that voice. But I got nothing.

There's a dark corner in the room and I came there hoping to find the person who called my name.

Maybe he's someone I know. Maybe he's Chelsea or Jimmy or Nichole! Or even mom and dad—

I suddenly realized what I said.

Oh right. They're already dead... and it's because of me.

Dainty, you're so ridiculous.

I came back to reality when someone hugged me from the back. I tried to resist but I couldn't. He's just too strong!

Stop this, it's hurting me!

When he realized that I'm panicking, he ceased his arms lighter and then I found a chance to escape on his arms.

But that...

That single phrase...

"Dainty... welcome home"

"Dainty... Welcome home"

No, no. No... Please no!

"Ah!"

What a nightmare!

I woke up and the surroundings are still the same like... is it yesterday?

The same white dress. The same coffin. The same flowers.

I looked outside the window and I can see that it's already night.

"Dainty... welcome home"

"Argh!", I putted both my hands in my head as flashbacks from yesterday starts playing.

That... man? Who is he? What is he up to?

I don't know him. But he knows me, that's for sure.

I need to leave here immediately. 'Cause I feel like if I don't, bad things are gonna happen. And I don't want that.

I found a huge door, and I think that's the way out of this room. Is it?

I tried to open the door once... And then twice. And even thrice! It just won't open!

What is wrong with this damned door?!

I know this is stupid, but...

"Open sesame!"

"Roringuuu Thandaaa!" (Rolling Thunder)

"United... Stateeeesss... Of smaaasssh!"

Urgh! These are all useless! I already tried the strongest moves of the characters from the animes I've watched!

Now, what?

Guess this is the only option...

"Heeeeelp! Somebody heeeeeelp!"

I screamed and screamed and screamed.

But no one came for me.

Oh, how I pity myself. My tummy's already making sounds. I'm so hungry I might die from starvation.

This the shittiest of the shittiest I've experienced in my entire life.

My tummy growled again.

Tears fell down from my eyes.

I want to die. I want to die!

Why doesn't God just send me down to hell?! I mean, it's way better there!

I'm kidnapped! And hungry!

My situation couldn't get any worse!

Those stupid dead souls from hell probably are making fun of me right now.

Why am I still crying? I should be angry right no—

I want to go home...

I want to bring back mom and dad...

And live longer...

I'm all alone...

What if I end up dying here?

I still want to live...

Who am I kidding? Even though I stirr my mind with anger... it's still filled with fear and sadness.

I just sat on the floor in front of the door, crying. Waiting for rescue.

But who'll rescue me?

Who'll rescue a girl that's the cause of her parents' death?

I cried and cried and cried.

"Why are you crying?", a man showed up in front of me wearing a dark blue button-down long sleeves polo.

I stared at him for a few seconds.

My eyes widened when I realized something...

He's the man that shot those three men mercilessly!

"Dainty..."

I stood up and stepped back a bit.

He's a very dangerous man. He could kill me anytime if he's in the mood.

"W-who are you? Why do you know me?"

I can see the schock on his face. Why is he shocked, anyways?

I looked at the door and now... it's open?

I knew it! He locked me in here! There might be some sort of a key!

"Why did you brought me here?!"

"Do you want to eat? You look like you're starving", suddenly changing the topic, huh?

I'm furious right now, but I can't be swayed by my anger. He's still dangerous even if he lets his guard down.

I can't attack him, obviously. But the door's wide open. I'm just going to escape and leave him here.

Goodbye my lovely coffin!

I started running as fast as I can.

I smiled when I already past him.

Maybe I should eat noodles after this. I'm really hungry.

I stopped running when the door closed. What happened?

I turned my head back and the windows arw closed too!

All I can see is that man glaring darkly at me.

He walked towards me which made my internal organs popped in fear. I took a step back but he keeps stepping forward.

I suddenly felt the cold walls at my back.

I have no way out!

Our distance was just 1 meter away from each other.

He took a step, and then again.

Now are faces were very near at each other's.

He moved his head on my neck and smelled it which made me shock.

"Hmmm. So tempting."

This man in front of me said those words to me full of obsession and lust.

CHAPTER 2

"Hmm... So tempting. I'm kinda addicted to your..."

After those words came out of his mouth... I fainted.

Curse this weak heart!

Where am I again?

"Mommy? Papa*?" (*Father)

I immediately ran when I saw them...

They run so fast...

I tried to run faster but I just can't catch up with them.

My frail heart's coming in the way again. Curse this!

I started running slower 'cause I can't run any faster.

"Mommy! Papa!", I started shouting when they are slowly going out of my sight.

"M-mommy! Papa!", I knelt my knees as i felt my heart throbbing. I pressed my chest out of pain.

"Dainty...", I looked up and then I smiled.

I smiled...

And cried at the same time...

I hugged them, with all my might.

"God, I missed you so damn much", I bursted in tears and hugged them tighter.

"What are you doing?", I stopped for a second when Papa said those words to me.

I let go and stared at them for a while, waiting for them to say something.

But the words I expected the most never came out from their mouth.

Instead...

"Did you forget you're the very reason we're killed. You abandoned us, and now you're suddenly hugging us and saying you missed us? Honey, I can't believe we raised such an evil daughter"

What?

"M-mother. Look, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to, yes I did that, b-but it was just an accid—"

No, no. No!

I started going crazy when they started to fade away.

No, please no.

I haven't explained myself yet!

"Argh!"

Good thing that was just a dream.

"Goddammit, Dain! I'm trying to sleep! Like, hello?"

"Liz? What the hell are you doing? Wait, what am I doing here in the dorm?"

Weird, am I just hallucinating?

"Are you out of your mind? Snap out of it, duh! We've been room mates for how many months! I know I'm not always here, but I'm still your roommate. So if you just try to shut up, I'm trying to sleep"

I'm back... in my dorm.

Just what the hell is happening?

Few days have passed and our school's semestrial break is just around the corner.

And gosh! Liz won't just stop talking about how she and her new boyfriend will hang out on the break.

"So, how will you spend your break?", Liz asked me while polishing her nails.

"I don't know... Maybe here?I have nowhere to go, so why bother?"

"Come on! You're such a kill joy! But, don't worry, I got your back.", she sat properly and started scrolling on her phone.

"What are you doing?", I asked uninterested.

"Just wait. You know, I'm such a good friend.", she smirked, that's when I knew she's up to something stupid again.

"Here.", she then showed me a picture of our SSG President.

"What about him?"

Oh, I know where this thing's gonna go.

"Spend the break with him. You two can join us at the beach near our province.", I rolled my eyes.

I knew it.

"Sorry, I'll pass.", I waved my hand as a sign of 'no'.

"Oh, come on! This's gonna be your chance! He's so damn attractive, you know! If I were single, I would date him. Besides, he's not seeing anyone at the moment." , she smirked and pinched me at my thighs.

I sighed.

I've been seeing weird things recently. Maybe Liz is right, I should ask him to hang out with me for the sem break. Besides, it's not like I'm asking him to go out with me, right?

"When will we go?", I asked.

"You're gonna love this"
