The late afternoon sun cast long shadows over the winding road into Thornvale.
A white car sped down the quiet highway.
Behind it , few black SUVs followed... silent, steady, close.
Inside the white car, in the backseat, sat two sisters.
Leila, the older one (22) calm but sharp.
Beside her younger sister Sofia (19) cheerful, and full of questions.
The radio buzzed with static, then cleared.
A man's voice came through, smooth and cheerful.

The song began and Sofia immediately started singing.

Leila laughed and joined in, off key but trying.

In the driver's seat, Randy watched them through the rearview mirror.
He was a big man in a black suit, eyes always alert.
He wasn't just a driver. He was their bodyguard. Their family trusted man, right hand man.
He didn't sing. But his fingers tapped the steering wheel.
A voice crackled over his earpiece.
> The Safety of Morvanti. They're clear. Entering town.
Randy pressed a button near the wheel.

Copy that. Stay sharp. Eyes up. The Morvanti's daughters arrived safe.
In the kitchen, the air was hot and filled with the smell of spices, fresh bread, and grilled meats.
Cooks moved fast, cooking, chopping vegetables, and checking food on the stoves.
A tall woman in a stiff black suit, stood near the kitchen door, arms crossed.

Episode # 2
~OUTSIDE THE MORVANTI'S ESTATE/ GATE~
Mr Morvanti stood still in front of his black car, his eyes sharp and cold scanned the road ahead.
Dust rose in the distance. A rumble. Engines. SUVs approached. Fast.
He squinted his eyes as he took of his glasses.
Mr Morvanti (FL's & Sofia's dad)
The SUVs kicked up dust as they sped toward him.
His hand moved, slow but sure to his waist. Fingers brushed the grip of the gun tucked into his belt.

His face didn't change, but muscles tightened.
The first car or white car skidded to a stop right in front of him. Doors flew open.
Sofia and Leila Morvanti jumped out, running toward him.

Father!
Sofia Morvanti (FL's sister)
Papa!
Morvanti froze for a minute. Then, his eyes softened. He let out a sigh of relief.
The tension dropped from his shoulders. He smiled.
The ran into his arms, and he wrapped them both in a tight hug.

Ahh...my Princesses made it to Thornvale.
He kissed both their foreheads, one after the other.

What a time...to be a happy man alive.
Just as the family held each other. Mrs Morvanti proud, stunning and fierce.
Her heels clicked against the dirt. Her eyes locked on her daughters.
Her voice strong and calm.

Sofia and Leila turned at once. Their faces lit up.

They ran to her wrapping their arms around her waist. She kisses their heads, one by one, and held them close.
Mr Morvanti smiled and proud.

My queen...now it's complete.
Suddenly, then another appearance. It was Dario Velenmor, son of an old family friend–the Velenmor bloodline.

Oh, brother Dario!
She ran to him and hugged him tight.
He hugged her back without hesitation.

Hello... Sofia.
Leila softly, stepped forward.
Leila Morvanti (FL)
Hello... brother Dario.
She hugged him after Sofia. His hand rested gently on Her back. her face stayed serious.
Their mother firm and warm.
Mrs Morvanti(FL's & Sofia's mom)
Sofia. Leila. Sweethearts. From now on, you won't be calling Dario...your brother.
Sofia looked at her parents, confused.

Their father stepped forward, his tone calm but heavy.

Because he would have a new role...here. Very soon.
Leila looked up at Dario. Their eyes locked. He smiled at her...slow and sure.
She didn't smile back...not right away.
But after a moment, her lips curled into a small, almost forced smile.

Mrs and Mr Morvanti stood side by side, watching their daughters walk down the path with Dario beside them.
The girls were laughing, their voices loud. Dario walked calmly, his eyes always watching, always alert.
Mrs Morvanti leaned against her husband.
She watched the children for a moment longer, then wrapped her arms around him.

And rested her head on his shoulder.

Now everything will be okay. Our protection is tight now.
Mr Morvanti smiled, his eyes following the their daughters with Dario.
He placed a hand over hers.

I'm so happy now. Finally, I can breathe.
After the welcome feast, the Morvanti estate was quiet.
Upstairs, Leila was asleep in her room.
She lay curled under her blanket peaceful.
Then, the door creaked open–slowly and quiet.
Dario stepped inside. He didn't make a sound, just walked softly over to her bed.
He knelt beside her and whispered, more to himself than to her.

You're so beautiful...Leila.
He slowly reached out his hand to move the strand of hair off her face.
Just as his fingers were about to touch her skin–Leila's hand shot up and grabbed his wrist.
Her eyes opened. She didn't look sleepy.

What are you doing... Brother Dario?
She said, her voice low but serious.
Dario froze, the pulled back a little, still kneeling.
Dario Velenmor
I didn't mean to disturb you. I just...I saw hair on your face. I was going to move it.
Leila didn't let go right away. She looked at him carefully.
Leila Morvanti (FL)
Doing that while I'm asleep, without asking, isn't the right way.
Dario lowered his eyes and gave a small nod.

You're right. I'm sorry. I won't do it again.
He stood up and walked slowly toward the door.

Sleep well, Leila.
He said, without turning around.

I'll leave now.
He stepped out of the room and gently closed the door behind him.
Leila sat up in bed, watching the door for a moment. Then she whispered to herself.

what's with him...?
She lay back down, but sleep didn't come right away. Her eyes stayed open in the dark.
