Our Forbidden Love Story
nightmare
The world was drowning in rain. The sky wept heavily, as if grieving something even it could not bear. The street was dim, streetlights flickering like dying hope. Everything looked blurred wet, cold, silent except for two boys standing in the middle of that storm, crying like their world was ending.
Both trembling. Both shattered.
One boy on his knees.
Soaked from head to toe, his fingers clutched tightly around the hem of other boy uniform pants. His sobs were loud, messy, broken. His forehead pressed to the wet fabric, tears lost in the rain, but the pain in his voice was unmistakable.
???
“Please, Taehyung… please don’t let them take me,” he choked, his voice cracking into pieces.
???
“I don’t want to leave you… I don’t want to go…”
Taehyung stood there, his own face soaked in tears. His arms hung limp at his sides, fists clenched, knuckles pale. Every second was agony, watching Jungkook fall apart in front of him. His heart screamed louder than his mouth ever could.
???
“Don’t say that…” Taehyung whispered, tears falling. “Don’t make this harder…”
???
“I can’t live without you,” Jungkook sobbed, looking up at him with wide, pleading eyes.
???
“Please… Taehyung… I’ll die without you…”
Taehyung’s lips trembled. He wanted to fall to his knees too. To grab Jungkook and run, anywhere just far away from this cruel world.
But the headlights cut through the rain.
A black car stopped in front of them, tires screeching against the wet road.
???
“No…” Jungkook whispered, eyes wide with terror.
???
“N-no, not yet… please”
???
The car door opened, and two adults stepped out.
His parents.
“Jungkook,” his father’s voice rang out coldly, “come here. Now.”
???
“No! No, please!” Jungkook screamed, clinging tighter to Taehyung.
???
“Don’t let them take me! Don’t let them please, please, Taehyung!”
Taehyung fell to his knees, arms around Jungkook now, holding him tightly.
???
“I don’t want this!” Jungkook cried.
???
“I don’t want to go! I don’t want to live without you! Please, please!”
But the hands were faster. Rough hands grabbed Jungkook by the arms, pulling him away from Taehyung’s hold. Jungkook screamed. Fought. Kicked.
Taehyung reached for him, fingers brushing Jungkook’s hand just for a moment.
The door slammed shut. The car locked.
???
Taehyung pounded on the window with his fists. “Let him go! Let him stay! Please he’s mine!”😭😭😭💔
But the engine roared, and the car began to move.
Taehyung ran. He sprinted down the middle of the road, barefoot, soaked, screaming like a madman.
He ran until his lungs burned. Until the rain blinded him.
He ran, feet slipping, body trembling, eyes locked on the taillights disappearing into the distance.
And then
Metal.
Screeching brakes.
A sickening thud.
Taehyung’s body was thrown onto the street like a ragdoll. He hit the ground hard, his head slamming against the pavement. Blood pooled beneath him, mixing with the rainwater.
He didn’t scream.
He just lay there.
Silent.
The cold soaked through him. The pain in his chest burned more than the pain in his bones. His eyes, wide and teary, never left the fading lights of the car.
And from the backseat, Jungkook saw everything.
He saw Taehyung collapse.
He saw the blood.
He saw the light vanish from his eyes.
???
“No… NO! STOP THE CAR!” Jungkook screamed, banging his fists against the window.
His voice broke, shrill and raw.
???
“LET ME GO BACK TO HIM! PLEASE! HE’S HURT! TAEHYUNG!”😭💔
But his mother held him tightly, his father’s voice cold and final.
“Enough.”
Jungkook screamed louder. His body trembled violently, his voice echoing inside the car like a soul tearing apart.
???
“I hate you! I HATE YOU! Let me go back to him! He needs me!!”
But the car didn’t stop.
Taehyung's body grew smaller in the distance. His blood… his stillness… his silence… all burned into Jungkook’s eyes forever.
He pressed his face to the window, sobbing like his heart had shattered because it had.
Jungkook gasped as he sat upright in bed, his chest heaving. Cold sweat drenched his skin. His hands shook. And slowly… silently… a tear rolled down his cheek.
He didn’t scream anymore.
He didn’t fight it.
He just sat there.
Still. Broken. Bleeding from the inside.
His breath hitched as the pain washed over him again, like waves crashing into the same cracked shore.
???
“Tae… hyung…” he whispered.
He brought a hand to his chest, gripping the fabric over his heart like he could hold the shattered pieces together. But they were too many. Too sharp. Too deep.
Twelve years.
Twelve long, cruel years.
And yet every night, that same dream haunted him.
The rain.
The screams.
The moment he was torn from the boy he loved.
The moment he watched Taehyung fall… and couldn’t do anything.
Every night, it came again.
And every time… he woke up just like this.
Crying. Hurting. Empty.
???
“I’m sorry… I’m so sorry…” he whispered to the dark room.
But the silence answered him.
And his tears fell again.
Because that nightmare wasn’t just a dream.
It was a memory.
A scar that time refused to heal.
And no matter how many years passed
That night…
That goodbye…
That boy left lying in the rain…
He would never forget.
family drama
Jungkook sat there, still as a statue. His eyes were swollen, his face blotched with tears that refused to stop falling. He had no idea how long he had been crying minutes, hours, maybe even days.
His mind was lost in the image. The same one that haunted him every night, every moment.
Taehyung.
Lying lifeless on the road.
Blood.
Stillness.
A slight sob echoed through the room, too quiet to be heard but too painful to ignore.
Sunlight streamed through the window, casting a warm glow across the room. Jungkook stirred slightly, his body aching with the weight of unspoken sorrow. He wiped his face, slowly getting out of bed, as if every movement was heavy, as if the world itself was pulling him down.
He walked to the bathroom, the coldness of the tiles sending a chill through him. The water hit his skin, freezing him, numbing him to the pain that had become his constant companion. He didn’t flinch. He stood there, letting the cold water wash over him, hoping to numb the ache in his chest, but it never worked.
After the shower, Jungkook walked downstairs.
He didn’t want to look at them.
He didn’t want to see their happiness.
His family sitting around the breakfast table, laughing, teasing each other like nothing was wrong. Like they hadn’t torn their son’s heart out all those years ago. The noise felt like it was coming from another world one where he no longer belonged.
They were so carefree, so full of life.
And yet, he couldn’t understand how they could laugh like that.
How could they smile, joke, eat… when they had wiped the joy from his life forever?
Jungkook shook his head, his chest tightening as he walked to the table. He pulled out a chair, sitting down slowly, not looking at any of them. His spoon hovered over his food, but he didn’t eat. He didn’t care.
Before he could lift it, his mother’s voice broke through.
jeon Ji-eun ( jungkook mother )
“Jungkook,” she said, her tone light, almost cheerful, “we’ve arranged your marriage to Jenny. It’s final now.”
The words hit him like a slap.
He slowly looked up.
His gaze was cold, distant, void of anything familiar.
His mother’s smile faltered at the look in his eyes.
jeon jungkook
“Marry her?” His voice was low, almost a whisper, but sharp like a blade.
“Are you serious?”.
He stood up, eyes locked on his family, his mother, who still looked at him like she could control his every move. But this wasn’t the same as Jungkook anymore.
jeon jungkook
“Do you still think you can order me around?” His voice was thick with rage, but his body was calm. Too calm.
“You think I’ll just go along with your stupid plans for my life?”
Jungkook clenched his jaw, taking a step closer, his gaze never leaving hers.
His heart was raw. The words that left his lips were not just for her, but for everything he had endured. For everything that had been stolen from him.
jeon jungkook
“I’m not the same Jungkook. You know that very well,” he spat, his eyes blazing. “So just shut your mouth.”
Her face went pale with shock. She didn’t speak, but her eyes betrayed her panic, confusion, and now anger.
Jungkook stepped back, his chest heaving with emotion. The walls he had carefully built around his heart cracked.
jeon jungkook
“I live for Taehyung, only for him.” His voice was trembling now, softer but filled with raw emotion. “You took everything from me, and now you want to take my future too?”
His hand slammed against the table, causing the dishes to shake.
The room froze.
jeon jungkook
“You bring this stupid marriage proposal again and mark my words, Mom”
jeon jungkook
Jungkook’s eyes turned icy cold, a darkness settling in them. “If you push this on me… if you dare to try and control me like you always have…”
He took a deep breath, his voice low and deadly and looked at her like a psycho
jeon jungkook
“I’ll kill you.”
The words hung in the air like a thunderclap.
Silence. The kind of silence that was deafening.
His mother’s face flushed bright red with anger. Her hands shook, eyes narrowing in fury as she stood up, her voice rising in a sharp screech.
jeon Ji-eun ( jungkook mother )
“How dare y-you. how dare you speak to me like that, Jungkook?!”
But Jungkook didn’t look at her.
He didn’t care about the anger in her voice.
He didn’t care about the hurt in her eyes.
But Jungkook didn’t look at her.
He didn’t care about the anger in her voice.
He didn’t care about the hurt in her eyes.
He walked away.
His footsteps echoed in the room.
But he didn’t turn back.
Because for the first time in his life, he wasn’t afraid anymore. He wasn’t scared of them, of her.
And maybe that scared her.
where are you~
His footsteps had barely faded when the silence shattered.
Jungkook’s parents sat frozen, eyes still locked on the direction he had stormed out.
jeon Jong Suk (jungkook father )
“That fucking Kim Taehyung,” his father hissed, voice laced with venom. “That worthless boy ruined our son.”
jeon Ji-eun ( jungkook mother )
His mother’s face twisted with anger.
“We gave Jungkook everything! Everything! And he throws it all away for him?” she spat. “He was always trouble. Always clinging to Jungkook like a damn leech.”
jeon Jong Suk (jungkook father )
His father slammed his fist on the table, eyes blazing.
“He brainwashed him. Poisoned his mind. That boy was a curse the moment he stepped into our lives.”
jeon Ji-eun ( jungkook mother )
His mother nodded fiercely, voice trembling with fury.
“I told you, didn’t I? I told you long ago that boy will destroy our family one day. And now look. Jungkook’s threatening his own mother over him?!”
jeon Ji-eun ( jungkook mother )
She slammed her spoon down, chest heaving.
“If I ever see that boy again… I’ll make sure he regrets being born.”
Jungkook didn’t hear any of it.
Because by then, he was already gone.
He sat silently in the backseat of the car, eyes fixed on the road, fists clenched in his lap. His heart was pounding against his ribs like it wanted to escape.
jeon jungkook
How dare they?
jeon jungkook
How dare they speak about Taehyung like that?
jeon jungkook
They were the ones who destroyed everything.
By the time he reached his company building, his face was stone. Emotionless. But the storm inside him was boiling.
He entered his office and sank into the chair, rubbing his temples.
He couldn’t think straight.
He couldn’t breathe.
He slammed the intercom.
jeon jungkook
“Call Hyunjin. Now.”
Moments later, his secretary stepped in, notepad in hand.
Hyunjin
“Good morning, sir.”
jeon jungkook
“Did you find anything about him?” Jungkook asked, voice hoarse, low.
Hyunjin
Hyunjin Looked up carefully. “No, sir. We’re searching everywhere. Every city, every registry… there’s no information. Nothing on Kim Taehyung. It’s like he disappeared.”
jeon jungkook
Jungkook’s jaw tightened.
His fingers curled into fists.
“You can leave.”
The door shut behind her.
Silence filled the room.
And then
Jungkook snapped.
He grabbed the closest thing to him and hurled it across the office.
Glass shattered.
Papers flew.
The desk shook violently.
jeon jungkook
“WHERE ARE YOU, TAEHYUNG?!” he screamed, voice echoing off the walls.
jeon jungkook
His chest heaved, tears blurring his vision.
“I’ve been searching everywhere, everywhere! But there’s not a single sign of you!”
jeon jungkook
He stood, fists clenched, pacing like a madman.
“No messages. No calls. No pictures. Not even your shadow” he choked on his own words.
jeon jungkook
He punched the wall, the sound of bone against concrete filling the room.
Blood smeared across his knuckles.
jeon jungkook
“Please… stop this hide and seek… it’s been so long, Tae…”
jeon jungkook
His knees buckled slightly as he leaned against the wall, tears spilling down his face uncontrollably.
jeon jungkook
“I’m tired…” he whispered. “I’m so tired of waking up alone.”
jeon jungkook
He looked up at the ceiling, hands shaking.
“Just come back to me…”
A broken sob escaped his throat.
jeon jungkook
“If I ever find you again, I swear to God…”
jeon jungkook
His voice dropped into a whisper, voice trembling with dangerous emotion.
“I’ll never let you go.”
jeon jungkook
“I’ll lock you away…”
jeon jungkook
“I’ll cage you if I have to.”
He slid down to the floor, back against the wall, staring at nothing.
And in that cold, broken office…
Jungkook wept like a man who had lost his soul.
