Mahika (7 years old)
*Glaring at Aadhya*
Divya
If you don't stop, then I won't sit with either of you.
Aadhya (8 years old)
Ok didi
Mahika (7 years old)
Don't be angry didi
Aadhya and Mahika always fought with each other, sometimes for Divya, sometimes for food, sometimes for friends etc. They always searched for excuses to fight with each other. It all started with a misunderstanding.
It was a beautiful sunny day indicating a new start in Mahika's life. She stepped inside her classroom, nervousness and fear visible on her face.
Teacher
Introduce yourself dear. *Gentle*
Mahika (7 years old)
I-I-I'm Mahika. N-nice to meet you all. *Stammer in a low voice*
Teacher
You can sit with Aadhya.
Aadhya (8 years old)
*Waves her hand*
Mahika (7 years old)
*Goes and sits with her*
Aadhya (8 years old)
Hi Mahika. I'm Aad. *Smile brightly*
Mahika (7 years old)
Hi. *Shy*
After 3 hours, the bell rang indicating their lunch break. Mahika got acquainted with her other classmates. She was not nervous anymore and can talk with them freely. Aadhya and Mahika were now talking with each other alone when Aadhya asked.
Aadhya (8 years old)
What's your hobby?
Mahika (7 years old)
I love making crafts. What's yours?
Aadhya (8 years old)
I love drawing. Let's show each other our works someday.
Mahika (7 years old)
Yeah sure. *Smile cutely*
They were really good friends at first.

Fight
Aadhya's mother had died in cancer. Aadhya always carried her photo in a locket.
She always took off her locket and kept it on the table whenever it was their sports period.
One day, as every other day, Aadhya kept the locket on the table. When she returned to her classroom, she was met with a shocking scene.
Mahika (7 years old)
*Holding a broken locket*
Aadhya (8 years old)
*Shocked* How can you do this?! *Shouts while tears fell from her eyes*
Mahika (7 years old)
I didn't. *Crying*
Aadhya (8 years old)
*Not listening at all* You knew it was precious for me! Then why did you do this?!
Mahika (7 years old)
*Crying* I didn't...
Aadhya was so angry and upset that she didn't even listen to Mahika's explanation and on an impulse broke her craftwork which Mahika had worked hard on.
Saraswati Puja was next week. Mahika was excited to showcase her talent in the art/craft exhibition. But all her efforts and hardwork got ruined by her only friend. Mahika's heart broke just like the craft– into pieces. She also got furious. They began fighting with each other.

Mahika (7 years old)
*Push Aadhya* It's not my fault! I didn't even break your locket!
Aadhya (8 years old)
*Gets up and was about to hit her when teachers came*
