It was time to get off work. Charlotte rushed to pack all her stuffs, feeling excited about the gift she has made for Calvin.

Sophia! I'm heading off first. Today is a special day and I won't be going back with you. So sorry!

It's Calvin's birthday today and I'm going to surprise him!
Sophia put on a sullen face and hesitated for a moment before speaking again.

Sophia let out a big sigh and waves goodbye.
Upon arriving infront of Calvin's home, Charlotte quickly hid the gift behind her back as she rang the doorbell excitedly.

Coming! The food should be here now. I will get the door.
Calvin opens the door slightly.

Surprise! Look what I made for you, do you like it?

Just then, Catherine shouted across the living room

Honey, has the food arrived? Bring it in quickly, I'm starving!
Charlotte froze in disbelief, trying to hold back the tears as the worst scenario flows through her mind.

Calvin shuts the door immediately before Catherine walks towards him.

Jackson was holding an ice cream on both hands, and was moving side to side, trying to avoid bumping into Charlotte.
