HIS MADAM ~~~
Prologue
Tears streaming down faces
A girl brutally pulled by police
Not even the man whom she gave her everything to
The man who promised to love her, protect her, trust her
The man who would look at her with nothing but love
Now looking at her with nothing but hatred
His hatred, his distrust, his silence broke her more than anything
All it took was one day, to turn her life upside down
From being the most blessed and loved person
She turned into a sinner, a murderer, a monster who tried to kill her own sister
She bore that label, lived with it, all caged behind those bars
Atoning for the sins she never committed
Lived in the hell created by the very person who was supposed to believe her, protect her, support her
And so she breathed, but she didn't live, she was a corpse
A living breathing shell of the person she once was
For 5 years she stayed in that hell
Those 5 years, enough to kill everything she had in her
Just because of that one day
.
Aga kya karna ka irada hai?
(What do you plan on doing next?)
...
Wapis jaon g, us duniya main jisa us insan ka liya chor kar ai the....
(I will go back, to that world which I left for that person...)
...
In 5 salon ko ek darona khuwab smajh kar bholna k koshish karon g....
(I will try to forget these 5 years as if they were a nightmare....)
She left the place where she once came ,holding many dreams
But she'll live, and she'll get another chance
All we'll have to see is if she accepts it or refuses
Standing in front of the window
With eyes that held thousands of emotions
Trying to find something in them
Seeing something he didn't have
Which he could've had if not for his own hesitation
One moment, all it took was one small moment and he lost her
Today he had everything, yet nothing
He worked hard, so so hard to fulfill his words
But she wasn't there to see them
He tried to make peace with it
But no matter how hard he tried
Regret was something that ate at him every single second
He wished, oh how he wished to turn back time
Tell her everything, express his deepest sincerest feelings
Yet time didn't come back
...
As long as she is happy... I'll live...
...
So Allah... just keep her happy...
He wished, like he did thousand times before
But wishes don't always come true
But he'll get a chance to fulfill this wish
All we'll have to she is if he'll grab it or lose it again
EP 1
On the road surrounded by plants and cozy little houses
A car was driving steadily to its destination
And finally they reached the house, at the far end of the street
Hidden between large trees and surrounded by lush greenery
Stepping out the woman looked at the house with so much unspoken emotions
Taking a deep breath she collected her belongings and moved to the door
She got closer and closer
And finally stood at the same place she once stood to say goodbye
She was a woman chasing her dream when she left
She came back escaping the nightmare she suffered
Zara Rehman/FL
*Opened the lock and held the door knob*
Zara Rehman/FL
*Before entering took a deep breath and recited the Dua (supplication) of entering the house*
Zara Rehman/FL
اللهم إني أسألك خيرَ المولج، وخيرَ المخرج، بسم الله ولجنا، وبسم الله خرجنا، وعلى الله ربنا توكلنا
(O Allah, I ask You for the best entrance and the best exit. In the Name of Allah we enter, in the Name of Allah we leave, and in Allah, our Lord ,do we trust.)
Zara Rehman/FL
*Smiled softly and opened the door, finally stepping in her house*
Zara Rehman/FL
Assalam O Alaikum....
(Peace be upon you...)
Zara Rehman/FL
*Said softly , turned on the lights and looked around*
And like this she took in every single detail of her home, her safe place, the silent witness of her happy, sad, dark and bright days
Zara Rehman/FL
Long time no see....
Zara Rehman/FL
*Mumbled and walked in while lightly tracing the walls*
The walls, which were adorned by so many of her beautiful memories, her milestones and....
Zara Rehman/FL
*Stopped and looked at the picture*
The only picture that once represented her happiest day, now signified the start of that hell
Zara Rehman/FL
*Looked at it emotionlessly*
Zara Rehman/FL
Apna sab kuch tumhara liya qurban kiya....
(I sacrificed my everything for you....)
Zara Rehman/FL
Lakin ek bar bhi reham nahi aya tumhain....
(But you didn't show mercy even once....)
Zara Rehman/FL
Mere zindagi ke sab sa bari ghalti ho tum, or sab sa bara sabak bhi....
(You are the biggest mistake of my life, and also the biggest life lesson....)
Zara Rehman/FL
*Blank eyes scanning the picture*
Zara Rehman/FL
Tum sa nafrat karna bhi bojh lagta hai....
(Even hating you feels like a burden...)
Zara Rehman/FL
Kash Kash tum na milta, to aj mohabbat sa atabar sa uthta mera.....
(How I wish I didn't me you, at least I wouldn't have lost my trust in love...)
Zara Rehman/FL
*Chuckled bitterly and traced finger on their held hands*
Zara Rehman/FL
I don't even know what to feel....
Zara Rehman/FL
Should I hate you? Or should I forgive you?
Zara Rehman/FL
Should I keep hating you and suffer more than you will suffer?
Zara Rehman/FL
Tell me Omar....
Zara Rehman/FL
Why did you do this to me?
Zara Rehman/FL
Why did you turn me.... into this...
Zara Rehman/FL
This woman, who even I can't recognize...
Tears started dripping one by one and soon she was on the ground crying hysterically
Mourning the woman she was
Mourning the love she lost
Wailing at the woman she had become
Wailing for the love she'll never believe again
She cried and cried till she couldn't anymore
Zara Rehman/FL
*Leaning against the wall and staring at the picture in front of her*
Zara Rehman/FL
How happy....
Zara Rehman/FL
How happy I was....
Zara Rehman/FL
*Smiled bitterly*
And so she sat there, staring at the picture
How long? She didn't know
She just sat their like a broken doll, gazing at those faces
Remembering that day and the days that followed
The happiest she had ever been, the luckiest she had ever felt
It all came crashing down
All it took was that one day
Her prince, Her protector, Her love
The person who was supposed to trust her, listen to her, believe her, fight for her
But he didn't , not once did he listen, he just sentenced her to her death
Declared her the sinner of her own sister
Punished her for something she never did
The cautionary tales her grandma told, to never trust someone with your life
Because they will ruin it, shatter it, tear it into pieces you could never fix
Zara Rehman/FL
And I laughed at those....
Zara Rehman/FL
I was naive to think it wouldn't happen to me...
Zara Rehman/FL
I was a fool to think that you wouldn't ruin me, that you would believe me, that you would protect me......
Zara Rehman/FL
How naive....
Zara Rehman/FL
How pathetic...
Laughing at her own foolish self, she drowned in self hatred
A victim, she was a victim
But the hatred at her own foolishness made her more mad at herself than that person who turned her into the lifeless shell she was now
Zara Rehman/FL
*Smiled sadly and closed her eyes leaning against the wall*
Zara Rehman/FL
*Put her hand on her belly and a lone tear escaped*
EP 2
After sitting there for don't know how long , Zara finally got herself together and stood up
Zara Rehman/FL
*Took off the frame and calmly took the picture out*
Zara Rehman/FL
*Put frame against wall and looked at the large picture*
Zara Rehman/FL
*Sat down on ground and started tearing it down*
She tore that picture down just like he tore all her dreams
Just like she broke, step by step, minute by minute
Calmly she was also tearing that picture
But in reality she was tearing down that past
She was ripping away those memories
Which gave her nothing but pain
Zara Rehman/FL
*Tore the last piece*
Zara Rehman/FL
*Looked at the picture now shredded into thousands of pieces*
Zara Rehman/FL
How..... similar...
Zara Rehman/FL
*Said softly and got up*
And so, she calmly walked around the house, collecting every single gift, every single thing that held even slightest bit of his memory, of their memory
And after what felt like hours of collecting and piling she finally finished
Zara Rehman/FL
*Arranged them all in 2 separate piles in living room*
Zara Rehman/FL
*Got some cardboard boxes out of storage and sat down beside the piles*
Zara Rehman/FL
*One by one put stuff from one pile in one box and other pile in other box*
Zara Rehman/FL
*After being done, put them beside the door*
Zara Rehman/FL
What will I get out of throwing them? They can very well come in use for some people
Zara Rehman/FL
Or....
(And....)
Zara Rehman/FL
Yeh sab bech kar paisa donate kar don ge, mere in sa buri yaden juren hai, lakin kisi or ke in paison sa madat ho jai ge
(And I'll sell all these and donate the money, though these objects hold bad memories for me, but this money can help someone else)
Zara Rehman/FL
*Smiled softly and walked back to living room*
Zara walked around her whole house, reminiscing old memories but the more she walked the more she realized that no matter how many things she would get rid of, she couldn't erase his traces from this house
Zara Rehman/FL
*Sitting in her balcony and looking at the moon*
Zara Rehman/FL
I can't live here anymore....
Zara Rehman/FL
I need to leave this place...
Zara Rehman/FL
It is suffocating me....
Zara Rehman/FL
*Softly and continued staring at the sky with blank eyes*
Don't know when, but she fell asleep in the same position
It was Fajr time and Azan, the most beautiful sound for Muslims, was coming inside the room from all directions
Zara Rehman/FL
*Eyes slowly opened and laid there listening to Azan and responding in soft tone*
Zara Rehman/FL
Looks like I slept here....
Zara Rehman/FL
*Sighed softly and stood up to go and offer wudu*
And like this Zara offered Namaz and later stayed in prostration state for long long time
Zara Rehman/FL
*Crying softly and praying with all her heart to alleviate all her pain*
Zara Rehman/FL
Beshak tu (Allah) he sabsa behtar sunnain wala or madat karna wala hai
(And without doubt Allah is the best listener and helper)
Zara Rehman/FL
*Said softly and got up from prostration and sat down while continuing to pray*
After half an hour of devoted praying
Zara Rehman/FL
*Got up from prayer mat, folded it and kept it in cupboard*
Zara Rehman/FL
*Sat down and started reciting Quran*
And like this Zara recited Quran for 1 and half hour before finally stopping
Zara Rehman/FL
*Kissed Quran on front and back and placed it in cupboard carefully
She thought to get up and do something, anything, but she didn't have the energy to get up, she was way too mentally drained for doing anything right now
