JeonKim: Strongest

Episode

Taehyung's POV:

Bang! Bang!

The sound of gunfire caught my attention as I smoked in the alley of the bar where I worked. I threw a large garbage bag into the trash can as I noticed a few feet away, five or six men lunging at someone who was lying helpless on the ground. They were pûnching and kicking, hitting him relentlessly.

I tightened my grip on my backpack as I walked away, took a drag on my cigarette, and exhaled the smoke as if I hadn't seen anything. I was used to seeing this kind of scene, in that dark alley, where only the staff and delivery men were allowed to pass.

"You're a tough piece of sh!t!" The words came from the lips of one of the attackers. I pretended nothing was happening as I concentrated on locking the back door. My part-time job as a bartender had just ended and I was planning on going home right away.

At times like that, customers had started to leave, some waiting for taxis, others randomly choosing a girl to take home.

And some, instead, were engaged in a fight just like the one behind me.

I am not a bad person, but I don't want to interfere in anyone's business. I don't want to be dragged into someone else's mess. You can insult me, say and do whatever you want for not helping, but I don't care.

For all I know, that man who is being beaten might have done something bad, that's why they are beating him.

"Let me go!"

I looked back at the poor boy who was slumped in the mud, he stood up and tried to fight his way through. I threw the cigarette but on the ground and stepped on it as I stretched lazily, preparing to walk away quietly and go home. I was starting to climb down when someone grabbed me by the shirt.

"Help..."

His voice was hoarse and my attention was drawn to the university logo on the back of his uniform. As I turned to look at the face of the man who was holding my arm, I noticed that his nose and mouth were blëëding. I was shocked when I looked closely at his bruised face. Even though he was bruised and covered in bløød, he looked so divinely beautiful, cute too and seemed younger than I thought.

"Hey! Come here!" One of the id!ots came toward us and pulled the boy's collar. I looked at the bunny boy crying for help and could see his desperation. I felt someone pulling him away, so I dragged him toward me.

"Chill, bro." I said in a calm voice.

I looked at his face, he had a big mustache and was definitely much older than me. Why did they bûlly kid? Looking at the boy I was holding by the arm, we were the same age, judging by the expensive clothes, he must have been a rich boy. Then I suddenly thought of something brilliant. I snatched it from the man's grip and placed it behind me. I looked at the group of b@st@rds in front of me and noticed that they were all looking at me with anger in their eyes.

"If you don't want to get hurt, don't interfere in our business and give that boy back to me." The gangs one said

I hesitated a bit before answering.

"What if I don't?"

"I told you to let him go!" He screamed.

I was silent for a moment, thinking that it was none of my business and that my brother was waiting for me at home. My subconscious began to hesitate as the broken face of the boy behind me flashed in my mind. It was true that I was selfish most of the time, I didn't usually help damsels in distress just to avoid confrontations like this. However, I usually didn't get anything out of helping others.

"If you help me... I'll pay you a large sum of money." The boy whispered in my ear. Did he really think he could make his way through money? How could he be so bold as to lure me with money.

"How much?"

Yes... he was right, money could buy me especially at a time like that, when I needed it most.

"Is fifty thousand enough?"

With that, I put down my backpack, clenched my fists and cracked my knuckles, then stretched my neck and back muscles.

That amount was enough for my brother's tuition, of course I would help him.

"Deal. If you go back on your word, I'll k*ll you."

I said before I saw one of the gangs pick up a stick to try to hit me in the head, but my reflexes were better than all of them put together. I kicked the man in the jaw and knocked him out. One down.

Another charged forward, but my feet were quicker as I delivered a flying kick aimed at his stomach. The others followed suit, but none of them could get a hand on the boy.

Being a martial arts champion since high school, I had knocked down many opponents. I used all my knowledge and skills to protect that person behind me.

Now, I was the target, some of them took turns punching me, some of them hit me right in the face and I couldn't help but smile as I felt the metallic taste of bløød on my lips.

It won't be enough to bring me down, you sons of b*tches!

I managed to fight back and the punches and kicks started raining down, one after the other. When finally all the gangs fell to the ground grunting, I grabbed my backpack and grabbed the bløødy boy who was sitting by the garbage can clutching his stomach. I dragged him by the hand and ran towards my motorbike. I looked back and saw those men chasing us.

"Where are we going?" he asked, still holding his abdomen.

"I don't know." I replied, taking his hands to wrap around my waist as I reluctantly watched the id!ots run toward us. I made sure he held on tight, I couldn't afford to let him fall before he could even pay for my services.

I started the engine and sped off. Looking in the rearview mirror I noticed that some of them were still chasing us but when I turned onto the strange main road, I managed to lose them. I accelerated without looking back, they could get in the car and follow us if I didn't go far enough.

"Thank you." I heard the voice behind my ear that sent shivers down my spine. I could feel his head heavy on my shoulder, he must have been badly hurt.

"Don't thank me yet." I said, looking back through the side mirror. I sighed in relief once I was sure no one was chasing us yet.

"They won't follow us anymore. Thanks again," said the tall figure behind my back, his head and body completely resting against me.

I was afraid he might faint, so I took his hands with my left, to make sure his grip was firm, fearing he might fall.

"Hold me tight or I might die." His voice suddenly became clearer and deeper. The raspy tone was gone. I could feel his fingers tightening on the hem of my shirt.

"Thank you," he said again.

"Fifty thousand." I replied, looking at his face through the side mirror.

He nodded in pain and sat down better behind me.

"Let's go to my house, then I can give you the money."

I thought about it for a while. What if this guy is a drûg dealer? Or a mafia? I'll be dead before I can even get my hands on the money.

"Don't look at me like that, I'm not tricking you into k!ll!ng you."

As if he had heard my thoughts, the boy spoke and looked straight into the side mirror, then smiled.

"Maybe?"

"Do I look like a cr!m!nal to you?"

"What if you were a relative of some cr!m!mal or some b@st@rd like the ones before?"

"Hahahaha." He laughed with a pained expression.

I'll be damned. I finally told him I would stop at a gas station where he could get a cab home. I made sure the gas station had an ATM so he could withdraw money and reimburse me.

"My phone is lost, including my wallet."

"Yah! Liar, how could you føøl me? I should probably beat you to dëath right here." I said, glaring at the guy who happened to still be sitting in my backseat.

"You can take it, this is worth more than fifty thousand." He smiled as he took off his watch.

"How do I know it's not fake?"

"Then give it back to me.

I checked the watch, even though it was dirty, I could see that it was well made and could sell for a hundred thousand.

"Okay, you can come down now, but if you tricked me, I'll come after you and bëat you to a pulp."

"Wait a minute, can I borrow your phone? Let me call my dad."

Ok, now you can call me completely paranoid, but what would have happened if he had stolen my phone?

But judging by his hunched figure and labored breathing, I wondered if he had ever even managed to get away from me.

"Such a nuisance," I said before handing him the phone.

He pressed a few numbers and there was an answer on the other end of the line. He had indeed called his father.

He asked someone to pick him up from where we were.

I looked at him softly as he made that call, there was a strong urge inside me to take him to the nearest hospital. I couldn't let him breathe like a dy!ng cow like that. The bløød gushing from his head seems incessant.

What if I told him I would take him to the hospital and in the meantime I added another 30 thousand? Will he accept?

"Thanks again even if you are grëëdy for money."

I pretended not to care what he said because a person has to do what he needs to do to survive.

"We're in the same school, what's your name?"

"How do you know?"

"Your shirt."

I realized I was wearing my school uniform, my best work clothes, which was now blood red.

"What is your name?"

He was breathing so hard it was hard for him to speak. I just wanted to tell him to save his breathing and strength until his escort arrived.

"Why? Are you waiting for them to come and bëat me up?" I raised my eyebrows.

"No, can you just tell me your name?" He kept asking.

"Why? So you can write it on the wall and glorify me?"

"If you don't want to tell me, I'll take back the watch. Then you have to come with me to my house to get the money."

"Beak, my name is Beak." A lie

He stared at me for a long time before turning and walking away from me, half-wobbly. I wondered who he was and what he was doing with those gangs, but in the end I just shrugged. It was none of my business anymore.

Once I put my helmet on, I went back home.

Episode

Taehyung's POV:

"Who's talking about me? I've been sneezing since last night! Dâmn!"

Baekhyun sneezed again as he put his coffee cup down on the marble table in front of the Faculty of Physical Education. I kept looking at him and apologized over and over in my head.

Yesterday I had lied about my name, giving his to that guy. Well, I couldn't trust a stranger so easily and given the situation who would dare to give their name? Anyway after I took the watch I sold it for a couple hundred thousand.

So if he ever came looking for me, I could deny it and say it wasn't me in the first place. I remember him saying, "If anything happens to the watch, consider yourself dëad."

"Why are you looking at me?" My friend asked me as he came to sit next to me and Baekhyun, his name was Junmyeon. They were my two best friends in the school.

Even though I was good looking, with a clean face and everything, I wasn't very friendly, especially with strangers. I rarely expressed my feelings and other people probably perceived me as a cold guy. Maybe my Tiger tattoo on my left arm contributed to my image, that's why few people approached me. Only those two friends stayed with me over time.

We were in our second year at one of the best universities in the country, but if it weren't for the scholarship because I was an athlete, I wouldn't have had the wisdom to study there. I was studying for free. As a taekwondo champion and representative of our school, it was easier to apply for a scholarship.

"If we finish our report soon, Taehyung, can we come to the club?" Baekhyun asked as he played with his phone.

"Help me before you think about clubbing."

Junmyeon was trying to make us understand that he had been sitting alone for a long time, reporting. I, on the other hand, had no commitment to what I was doing, had no intention of helping at all.

"Well, if it's done, we'll go, okay?" Baekhyun hadn't given up on the idea of visiting the club where I worked. They often came just to hang out, because they were friends with the owner as much as I was.

" Okay." I said.

Baekhyun stopped playing with his phone and my friends worked faster to complete the report. Every three minutes, Baekhyun asked how long it would take to finish. As for me, I did everything I could without any effort as usual.

So the three of us were sitting in front of the bartender at The Pinkblack Club, my boss's place.

I knew my boss very well, Lalisa, a lesbian who was wearing a men's outfit and she still gorgeous. But sometimes she wearing sexy outfits if needed.

I quickly changed into my work uniform, but was ready to hang out with my friends at any free moment.

"Taehyung, someone is asking if you'll make them a drink." Lalisa said.

The middle-aged chatterbox smiled at me as I accepted the note with the thin written request. This was what I really wanted, to be a bartender but I still had a long way to go. I often got a lot of tips, especially from women and there were many people who sat and watched me all night.

Sometimes, if I really liked the girl and she offer the money, I would sneak her into the hotel. For example, the woman I was serving drinks to at the time had come with her three friends and I don't mean to brag, but she kept looking at me like I was a piece of sausage.

"My name is Cindy, if you have free time you can call me."

As expected, he had written his number on a piece of paper before handing it to me. I responded with just a small smile and then put the paper in my pocket.

"I wonder how many women can you captivate tonight because of your ethereal beauty?" Baekhyun said as I walked over and rested my ass on the chair next to him.

"What? It's not even dark yet but there's already someone who wants to take you?" Lalisa asked before wrapping her arms around my shoulder. Yes, there are so many girls and boys who like me but I'm not easy to get. Of course I'm also careful. Maybe they have a contagious disease or maybe they have bad plans for me. And why i'm doing this? It's simple because of money, more incomes. But Lalisa is different. Yeah, I know she's a lesbian but she's still a woman in my eyes who wears men's clothes. She's my best friend too, not just my boss. She was kind and she had always been there for me and my brother. When I didn't have enough money to pay my brother Sunoo's registration fee, she was the first one to offer her help.

I had been working with her for years, even though I had just turned 20 a couple months ago, but Lalisa still allowed me to work part time. Before, I was just a cleaner, helping keep the club clean and tidy. After school, I would clean the floors before the club opened, then I would clean the tables and chairs and make sure everything was organized. Until I got promoted to waiter because Lalisa said the customers were addicted to me and my k!ller looks.

"Yeah Lalisa, you gotta get ready, all eyes in the club are on your boy now." Junmyeon said.

Lalisa pouted. I couldn't help but i laugh and down a glass of alcohol.

The night was still young and customers began to fill the place. I remembered my father, who had opened many businesses and they had all failed. He d!ed along with my mother in a car acc!dent, the businesses were all seized by the bank and we were left with debts. The only treasure left for me and my brother was the townhouse where we lived.

And there was Wooshik, my father's brother. Instead of supporting us, he had become addicted to g@mbling and brought us more trouble.

"Are you a couple? I didn't see you with a girl. Are you pretending to like woman but in reality your type is a man? Baek laughed sarcastically to Lalisa. But Lalisa gave baekhyung a k!ller look.

"No no, I don't have time for that. You know my situation right? The important to me is my brother only." I said in sincerely.

"But you need someone to take care of and having baby." Junmyeon said. Tilting his head to the side toward the table in the corner where a group of very handsome men sat.

"I've seen one staring at you for a long time now."

"Just ignore it. I'm not interested." I feel sick and nauseous when i look the man's Junmyeon talking about. Yeah,he's a rich fat old man but i cannot.

![](contribute/fiction/11385881/markdown/54431892/1753544078624.jpeg)

"Either way, he might have a lûst on you. Look, everyone can't stops looking at you too." Baekhyun said. Their eyes all stock of me with no blinking.

"Yes indeed, you look good, you're dressed neatly, plus you have that nice tattoo." Junmyeon continued to tease me, making me turn to look at him coldly.

"If Taehyung and the old man they ended up together, they would have a twelve dozen pigs. Hahaha." Baekhyun laughed so hard that he made Lalisa hit him in the head.

"Ugh, this table is full of @sshøles," Lalisa said before walking away to go attend to other tables.

"Look, i think he's coming after you!" Baekhyun exclaimed.

I looked at the table uneasily, these were the situations I hated. When a fat, old or ugly. Came into the place and looked at me like I was a freshly cut ham. Some even took the time to write down numbers and messages, others even talked to me trying to tease me and I couldn't do anything. I just smiled at them without saying a word. I'm sorry but I've been traumatized because of them. But if they førce me. I'll fight back.

"Look at how designer they dress, if you say yes to them, you'll have a better life." Baekhyun continued.

"If you don't stop, I'll drag you to the back of the store and bëat you to a pûlp." I said in a calm voice, but the danger of my thrëat was palpable.

"Hey, I'm just kidding! Look, that lady you served is calling you, go!"

I approached Cindy who had called me to order something else, I took the opportunity to bend down and talk to her.

"Where's the bathroom?" he asked as our faces almost touched. His fingers gently caressed my hand on the table.

"Go straight and then turn left."

I pointed her in the direction of the bathroom. I knew what she wanted, I was just pretending to be innocent.

"Can you come with me? I'm afraid of getting lost."

That's it, I nodded and went with her, and as expected, the lady couldn't take it anymore.

She dragged me to the darkest corner of the room, near the closet. She managed to get close to kiss me passionately, pushing my body against the wall. Her lips full of lûst, crashed forcefully on mine as she ground herself forcefully against me.

A lot of things like this happened in that dark corner of the place, so I wasn't surprised at all. I myself often used that corner for some 'extra activities' during the night, when I need money.

My big hands traveled south and squeezed her large brë@ts, then continued down to unzip and undo her belt. Excitement filled my lungs...

But before I could even pull my pants down, I heard a loud crash.

"Taehyung! Come quickly! Something bad is happening!" A younger waiter ran up to me with terror on his face.

"What's going on?" I said as I buckled my seat belt. Cindy straightened her dress, looking confused.

"Let's go."

I ran after my younger colleague, only to find half the store in shambles and damaged. Tables and chairs had fallen, customers had run out of the store. Shards of glass and bottles were scattered across the floor. Inside were more than ten men dressed in black who refused to stop.

Lalisa was trying to negotiate but they didn't seem to care. I ran to Lalisa who was with my two friends and another employee, they were all shouting. I looked at the man in front of me and immediately recognized him.

As soon as he saw me, he immediately lunged at me to h!t me but luckily my feet were faster than his hands which bounced off his chest, making him fall.

How could I not recognize the ones I had fought with the other night?

I didn't wait for anyone to come at me, I just lunged forward, pûnching after pûnch... k!ck after k!ck. I saw my two friends join in the fight too. Lalisa managed to grab a chair and joined in too.

"We came for revenge! @sshøle," said the man I was pûnching in the face.

"Well, you're a sweetheart," I replied, smiling, before giving him another blow.

The man staggered a bit but that didn't stop him from picking up a beer bottle and slamming it against the table. A demonic smile spread across his face. He stepped forward to st@b me, but what could he do to me when I was ten times faster? I skillfully deflected all of his blows until he went berserk.

Yesterday I forgot to think that they must have known I worked there. Who didn't? I threw out the trash and locked the back door. How stûpid of me...tsk.

I helped the others and look what I got myself into.

I wasn't afraid of the gangs, but I was afraid for Lalisa and the others. Especially the damages I would have to pay, because the cause of that chaos was clearly me.

"You're really good," he said, touching his jaw. He didn't give up even after being k!cked a couple of times.

"Thanks for the compliment," I replied, smiling.

I tried to k!ck him in the leg but someone from behind managed to block my arms and put me in a tight spot, but I was still confident that I wouldn't be bëaten. I could find a way to wriggle free.

The mørøn smiled slyly, slowly advancing with the broken bottle in his hand,

when suddenly..

"STOP!"

The voice came from the entrance of the place, everyone turned to look at the familiar voice.

"Fûcking Jungkook Jeon." One of the men cûrsed.

![](contribute/fiction/11385881/markdown/54431892/1753544078714.jpeg)

All eyes were diverted to the young man in black. His hair was shining under the club lights. His face was bright and had traces of scratches from yesterday's bë@ting. His eyes darted to me, he looked at me and smiled. Jungkook? So that's his name.

He looked a little better than yesterday.

Behind him were a few people dressed in black.

"Aaghh!"

Someone shouted and I started pûnching and k!ck!ng again. I don't know which side I was on at that moment, because I didn't even know the guy motive, let's just say I was getting revenge for the club.

"Mr. Jeon, be careful."

I turned toward the voice of a man who was Jungkook's subordinate, only to see him stagger and h!t the wall, then fall to the floor with a bløødy face. There were more than five people standing there, all holding kn!ves and ready to lunge at us. I had to be on Jungkook's side, because the watch he gave me was worth over a hundred thousand, so I was basically in debt.

I jumped and k!cked the nearest person in the ankle, dropping the kn!fe he was holding. Then I grabbed the head of the guy who had pûnched Jungkook in the face and slammed it into the table, never holding back, because it p!ssed me off to see the guy I had saved yesterday, with a bløødy face again. How dare you! I put my foot up again and k!cked the mørøn again until he fell to the ground.

"Thank you." His husky voice was like it was caressing my trembling muscles. Why did he have that effect on me?

"No sweat," I replied with a smirk.

Then Jungkook came up beside me to throw more pûnches. I would never tire if it meant protecting that handsome man behind me, I could have gone on like this all night.

"Hey, Why are you persecuting them?" I asked him.

"They are the ones who are persecuting me," he replied.

More men in black arrived. Lalisa and the others run to the back of the store. No matter how good you are at martial arts, if there are more than a dozen men, the odds are slim.

If I hadn't gotten out of there, I probably would have become a ghost the next morning.

"Let's run!" I shouted at Jungkook.

"Where are we going? We're surrounded."

He said, and there wasn't even a hint of fear in his voice.

My mind was working fast as I thought of an escape route. If I left right then, they would stop destroying the place because that wasn't their goal, and neither was Lalisa.

So I grabbed Jungkook's wrist and ran for the back door.

"Where are we going?" he asked as he followed me.

I didn't answer him as I dragged him and førced him onto my motorcycle. Thankfully I had parked right at the back of the place.

And just like yesterday, I started the engine, driving fast. It was like watching a movie in reverse, rewinding the tape.

Déjà vu!

The point where we passed yesterday, in front of the gas station.

How much will he owe me this time?

Episode

Taehyung's POV:

"Don't tell me you're dropping me off at the same gas station again as yesterday?" Jungkook said hoarsely next to my ear.

Compared to the day before he looked much more handsome, even though he still had old bruises on his face and after the last fight there were new ones, despite everything he was still beautiful.

"Are they coming?" I spoke in a rather calm tone, looking in the side mirrors before accelerating faster. I saw a man in black chasing us. This time I was more prepared to ride through the alleys without too much difficulty, skillfully maneuvering my agile motorcycle.

"Slow down!" he said again, grabbing me tightly around the waist with one hand and hiding his face behind my back so he would be protected from the damn wind that was hitting him.

"Hold on tight." I muttered before accelerating noticeably, leaving those following us behind.

"God, I'm still alive." Jungkook said, looking around. I turned off the engine after making sure no one was chasing us. They obviously couldn't keep up with me, I was the best rider.

The route I had taken was quite complicated, I had deceived them by turning often, accelerating and turning continuously until I had lost them completely.

I breathed a sigh of relief when the motorcycle arrived in front of my house.

"Where the hēll..."

"My house."

I didn't want to get into more trouble, but in the midst of running away, the path I had taken had been the one I was most familiar with. And before I knew it, we were there.

"Let's go wash our faces." He exhaled in relief, as if he had just come off a hēllish tour.

"Wait." I reached him and walked over to the door. I took the pack of cig@rettes from my pants and a lighter, then took out a cig@rette and lit it.

He didn't say anything but raised an eyebrow at me.

"Fifty thousand." I said the words with the cig@rette in my mouth, then looked at him.

"Huh?..." He let out a short laugh, then turned to look at me in disbelief. "Yesterday, my watch..."

Before he even finished, I swallowed and interrupted his words.

"Yesterday was yesterday."

I was secretly afraid that he would want to take the watch back. So I pretended to be tough, that way maybe he wouldn't ask me for it. Also because even if I wanted to give it back to him, the watch was no longer in my hands. The proceeds from the sale had been used to pay Sunoo's tuition, to repair the air conditioning in the bedroom and to pay off our debts, there was almost nothing left.

"Yesterday you asked for 50 thousand, and today you want more...that makes a total of a hundred thousand. But I know you have an idea of how much that watch costs, if you're not stûpid enough, you sold it for at least 400 thousand. So if you think about it, I paid you in advance." Jungkook said with a smirk on his lips, tilting his head as if he wanted to tease me.

It was the first time I studied his face in depth, his big eyes had a terrifying light pointed at me as if they wanted to show that he was not an ordinary person.

His face with a bruise on the side, near the eye, did not hide the fact that he is a scary too behind his cute bunny look base on my observation and muscular body than mine.

"Okay, now that I've saved you, you can go back where you came from."

"Eh... I wasn't expecting much but, tsk, considering your good looks. You look like a angry tiger." He said laughing with his arms crossed under his chest in such a cocky way. His eyes, lips and cheeks widened completely in a big smile that made my hands and feet itch. I wanted to kick him in the stomach. He slowly approached me and I unconsciously backed away.

"Shût up and go away!"

"What's that noise?"

It was the sound of the door accompanied by the figure of my brother who was wearing pajamas and seemed to be asleep. He was a little surprised when he saw that I was not alone and greeted with a shy wave.

"Amm. Hi." Sunoo said a little embarrassed.

Jungkook looked at my brother and nodded slightly.

"Come back inside." I said to Sunoo.

"What are you doing out there? You'll wake up the neighbors. Come talk inside." Sunoo, who was usually shy, answered me and opened the door to invite us in.

"Well, would you mind?" Jungkook said, stepping inside, but I quickly grabbed my brother's collar before he could respond.

"I'm going in and you're going out!" I told him coldly, which made him frown in disbelief as I glared at my brother and forcefully pushed him inside the house, letting go of the collar of his pajamas.

"How dare you do this to me..." He said in a rather dangerous tone. But I wasn't afraid at all and simply turned toward the door ready to go in.

"Hey wait! No one dares to do this to me." He grabbed my hand and squeezed it hard but it didn't scare me, in fact I wriggled out of his grip and pushed him hard in the chest.

"Why? Who are you? I can do more than grab you and break your neck!" I said, staring into his eyes with the same intensity as his. "If you don't leave now, I will beat you to dêath!"

"Hey hey!" Sunoo, who had come back inside when I had let him go a little while before, came back and looked at me from the door.

"Come back!" I said before pushing my brother away and following him as I slammed the door in Jungkook's face.

Eh! ... I'm not afraid of him. That b@st@rd, who the hell does he think he is? What if he's rich? What if I owe him a watch?... FÛCK YOU.

I called Lalisa thinking he might be in the hospital, but she wasn't. She told me everything that happened after we left, the gangs had dispersed shortly after leaving the club and the police had also been involved. He had complained to me until my ears hurt. What I had to do tomorrow was clean the club, save what I could and pray that the damage wouldn't cost me too much.

"Where did you two run off to?" Lalisa asked me the next morning. I didn't answer him just to avoid any misunderstandings since she thought I was having an affair with that d@mn Jungkook.

"I'm sorry, Lalisa." I bowed my head to show how sorry I was for the damage done to the club and Lalisa sighed.

I felt guilty even though it wasn't my fault. It was Jungkook's fault, I had just been dragged into his mess. If I had known this would happen, I wouldn't have meddled in his business.

"Okay, let's go pack things up, the new furniture will be here soon." Lalisa said, patting me on the shoulder.

"How much...?" I asked softly even though I was afraid to hear the answer.

"What?"

"The cost of damaged furnitures."

"Eh, why? Do you have the money to pay?" Lalisa asked, fanning his face.

"Hmm...my savings..." I said but I know it still won't be enough, because even though it wasn't really my fault I felt quite responsible.

"Well, you're lucky, Mr. Jeon came here and paid for all the damages, otherwise you would have had to work all your life and be in debt."

"Jeon?" That handsome, arrogant face flashed through my mind again.

"Yeah, well, Mr. Jeon said that those were originally his enemies and you were just there to help him, so he said he'll pay. And you know what? When the police came, those bad guys ran away." Lalisa laughed. "I think this Mr. Jeon is a great guy. This morning, the neighbors were all so quiet, the rûckus from last night didn't spread. And when I looked at the CCTV, I got goosebumps."

"Why?" I asked.

"Well, he's handsome! Ohh oh. I know that look. I know i'm a lesbian but it's mean i can't appreciate mens look."

"Who the hell did you run into this time? Because the word HUSBAND is plastered across his forehead."

I literally choked on Lalisa's words as she seemed fan about him. Hahaha. I shook my head and helped the others clean up all the bløødstains, glass, and broken chairs inside the place.

Last night no one was seriously hûrt. Some had brûises, cuts, and black eyes, but nothing more. As for me, I didn't have a scratch. The others made fun of me for staying away with my back against the wall, and I couldn't help but feel ungrateful at that moment. So I told them I'd buy them dinner.

I went to the smoking area outside the fire exit of the store. It was 9:00 PM and everything was fine. The store was closed but all the employees were busy helping to set up the store. I sat down to rest on an overturned plastic bucket next to the door, inhaling and releasing thick smoke into the air. Suddenly, I heard someone approaching, I could almost tell who it was from the sound of footsteps.

"Hey..." The newcomer stopped a few steps away from me, dressed in black.

"What do you want this time?" I asked irritably, throwing the cigarette to the ground and stomping on it. Hands on my hips.

Jungkook walked slowly towards me, looking around as if trying to figure out if anyone else was there. I noticed that he was dressed as if he was ready for battle because every time I saw him, violence followed him incessantly. "What is it? Are they chasing you again?" I asked. What if someone came and destroyed the shop again? Lalisa would have k!lled me for sure.

He stopped in front of me without saying anything.

"I have proposal to you." He said hoarsely. My heart was pounding so hard as if I was afraid of something.

"What?" I asked coldly, trying not to show my true emotions.

"Come with me."

"With you where?"

"We have a long talk." He said, looking straight into my eyes with his hands in his pockets. And he has a piercing on his lip, so attractive. This is crazy. I couldn't describe how I felt.

"I don't want to." I replied, intending to go back inside the club while my heart was beating frantically.

But Jungkook grabbed my arm tightly and forced me to turn toward him. "But I have something to tell you."

"But not me! Let me go!" With a quick tug, I wrenched my arm from his grasp and pulled him away from me.

I pushed Jungkook's chest lightly until he took a few steps back. His men, who were quite far away from him, immediately ran towards him. I grabbed a broken table next to me and threw it directly at those men but someone deflected the attack and lunged at me. I punched one of Jungkook's men who had stepped forward.

At least until Jungkook couldn't stand the sight of his men falling one after another. He stepped between me and someone I wanted to punch, who was in mid-air, and Jungkook grabbed him and held him tight. But I didn't lose my temper and tried to throw a kick that he easily dodged.

I didn't give up and tried to punch him with my free hand. At that moment, he quickly grabbed my wrist, twisted it behind my back and pushed my body against the wall. Why wasn't I the best? Maybe after the fights of the past few days I was tired.

"Let me go!" I said angrily, turning my face towards him. His sharp face came closer as he applied some force to the grip of my hands. He came closer and it was as if he was caressing my body from very close.

"Fûck, fûck!!!"

"Hey, I'm here to negotiate with you." His lips whispered softly so close to mine that I felt his breath fan across my face.

"I don't want to talk!" I replied, trying to distance my face because I had goosebumps.

"Well, I thought you'd be better than that..." He said with a laugh. It seems you underestimate me too much, young man!

"Yes!" I screamed and with that I pushed myself away from the wall, turning around I bit him in the neck with all my strength, then pushed him away from me.

"Sh!t!" He shouted loudly, but I ignored him as I ran into the room and locked the door. I quickly ran to the staff room to grab my bag as the people in the room looked at me in confusion.

"What is it?" I asked one of my superiors.

"Don't tell me you're going home. If you dare do that, I'll cut your pay!" Jeez, I wasn't ready for that. But I admit I was really scared at that moment. I was afraid of both the revenge of those gangs and Jungkook, maybe he really wanted to get his watch back!

After escaping dēath, I quickly turned my motorcycle around and rode home at the speed of light. My mind was full of thoughts about the watch. If Jungkook came and said he wanted to talk to me, what else could he be looking for? Of course it was the watch! Eh, who wouldn't, if that watch was worth more than 600? No, 700 thousand?

At six in the morning, I woke up early to go to the market and buy something for breakfast. I didn't have to wake Sunoo because I couldn't sleep at all at that id!ot Jungkook.

"Hey, you must have a rich lover, huh?" Sunoo said, looking at the dishes on the table.

"Is this all you bought? Oh, forget it, I have to hurry to eat and go to school." He took some large prawns and ate them with the rice.

Today's breakfast seemed better than the others, with bread, jam, milk, orange juice. Usually it was just cooked rice and stûpid eggs or regular boiled pork with rice.

"Please give me allowance too." Sunoo asked with puppy dog eyes.

I reached into my pocket and gave him thousands.

"W-what!" He opened his eyes wide in shock and looked at me in amazement.

"This is your allowance for the whole month. Don't be too extravagant." I told him thinking it would be better to use the money now before Jungkook and his men came for it.

"Where did this come from? Your boyfriend?" Sunoo's said.

"My savings and i don't have boyfriend." Fûcking hēll no to be come my boyfriend.

My brother couldn't believe it and continued to stare at me suspiciously until I urged him to go to school.

"Go to school now and study!" I looked at him in his blue high school uniform. I sighed in relief... at least the money I had at that moment should be enough to cover a whole semester.

Everyone had to wonder why I sent my brother to an expensive school when we were broke, it was because I didn't want him to feel like he was missing out. He had been going to that school since kindergarten, which was also my alma mater. I didn't want him to move until he graduated, I didn't want him to feel inferior to me. Even though he sometimes told me that he was okay with moving to a cheaper school, I didn't want that. I wanted him to feel safe like he did when our parents were still alive.

No matter how hard it is, I will take care of my brother.

I locked the door and jumped on my motorbike when something occurred to me...

Damn Jungkook knows where I live! What if he's stalking me here?

"Aunt Jihyun!" I called out to the kind neighbor.

"If anyone comes asking for me, please tell them I've already moved away."

"Who will come looking for you?" Aunt Jihyun looked at me in surprise.

"Tell them I moved out of the country."

Aunt Jihyun nodded and I went back to collect the things that were put outside the house like shoes or slippers, umbrellas, colored helmets so as to make the house look deserted. Fortunately, I didn't have enough money and therefore I rarely bought furniture, so there really wasn't much stuff inside.

"Hey Taehyung, what's wrong with you?" Baekhyun asked when I went to the cafeteria after my class was over.

Everyone stared at me for a long time before I answered.

"Why?"

"You always look around, what's the problem this time?"

"You sound paranoid. I'm not going to help you this time. Yesterday at Lalisa's place, the two of us barely survived." Junmyeon looked at me. They had both run as fast as they could when the situation changed and were not hurt.

"Who wouldn't run? They were everywhere. One of them grabbed me and I was almost suffocated with fear." Baekhyun swore out loud.

"No, nothing..." I looked at the rice on my plate as I played with it. I myself had realized, ever since I entered the campus, that I had been on high alert, watching every corner and looking left and right all the time to make sure no b@st@rd was there.

"Are you looking around because you're looking for someone you like or are you afraid that those from yesterday will come looking for you here? Why don't you dare admit it?" One of my friends said mockingly.

"So, what's bothering you?" I asked my other friend.

"Or maybe someone is chasing you because they hold you responsible?" Baekhyun added without giving me any room to speak. Luckily I was too lazy to explain.

"Hey Baekhyun! Your uncle came looking for you in front of the faculty." Jongdae,a third-year senior shouted.

"Who's Uncle?" Baekhyun asked and I greeted our senior with a wai.

"I don't know, he told me he's your dad's younger brother and that it's something important." Jungdae explained to Baekhyun until my friend laughed, "Hahaha he really said that?"

I remember telling the @sshole Jungkook that my name is Baek! Oh my God, is he here for me now?

"What does it look like?"

"Oh, he's pretty cute. Damn, how can your dad's brother be so young and handsome compared to your face?" Jongdae said in a funny tone and made me understand that this person didn't look like Baekhyun's uncle.

"Jongdae! What makes you doubt my looks?" Baekhyun's feel insulted.

"Haha are you sure, he is your uncle? He looks so young compared to you and they say he's a famous person..."

"Aren't you guys going to the movies? Let's go!" I quickly interrupted their conversation so that everyone was staring at me.

"Hey, what's wrong with you Taehyung? You don't usually talk this much." Junmyeon looked at me in surprise.

"Oh, nothing, go and hurry up. Go! I'll come with you in the car, but first I'll park the motorbike here." I said a little louder so that they would go away leaving me in peace, in all this I prayed for their safety.

"Okay, okay let's go, but first let's meet my father's brother!" Baekhyun emphasized the words 'my father's brother' in front of Jongdae to make it clear.

"If I weren't your senior, I'd hit you on the head!" Jongdae said to Baekhyun.

"Come along mister...!" Baekhyun said as he grabbed his bag and started walking.

"Let's go to the movies, guys!" I raised my voice to say.

"Yes, we're going, but first we'll accompany Baekhyun to the faculty!"

"If you go, we won't be partying." My tone was threatening as I crossed my arms under my chest even though inside I felt anxious and scared.

"I said we'll go later. I have to meet the person who claims to be my father's younger brother first!"

"What's wrong with you Taehyung?" This two look at me suspicious.

"I'm just lazy, I don't feel like going back." I said softly.

"Then you can wait in the car. Let's go Baek." Junmyeon answered giving me the car keys. Then the two of them walked towards the entrance of the faculty.

I promised Baekhyun that I would repay him one day as I lit my second cigarette. I was trying to keep an eye on my friends and see if they had returned or not. I didn't think they could do anything bad in the camp and even if they had, I wasn't afraid. My fear was that he had hunted me down to get my watch back.

What should I do???

"Sh!t! Taehyung, he played a prank on us!" Baekhyun exclaimed as he walked back to the table and I looked up to take a look.

"What? Why?" I asked curiously.

"We wait on the faculties for a couple of minutes but no one there wanted to talk to me! I'm sure Jongdae played a prank on us, I'll k!l him!" Baekhyun said angrily and I sighed secretly.

"Jongdae is annoying his Juniors like this... fuck you!!"

The two of them lit up a cigarette and headed off to the nearest mall while I returned home with some anxiety.

When I got home, I parked my motorbike and immediately asked Aunt Jihyun

"Aunt, did anyone come looking for me?"

"Yes! But who were they? They looked like mafia goons! Are you okay Taehyung? They asked for a person named Baek, so I said there's no Baek in here and told them your house has been abandoned for some time now. So they left immediately."

"When did they come, aunt?"

"At noon."

Ah... it's a good thing they came when I wasn't at home.

"Auntie, can I park my motorbike at your house?"

"Oh, okay, come on... Taehyung, be careful, okay? A lot of things have happened to you guys, you guys make me suffer."

Right, I didn't think about it. Luckily when they came Sunoo's wasn't at home. I have to warn him never to open the doors to strangers.

Come to think of it... I'm secretly scared.

What if Jungkook changed his mind and instead wanted to give me 50k to get his watch back?

Tsk, that's a shame, 700k versus 50k? Who would be that stûpid?
