for centuries, gravdak has been a land where magic is believed to exist as well as the birth place of magic itself and an intrinsic part of the land. back in the days, those who were born with magic were hunted down and slaughtered or persecuted, thereby driving them into hiding. In gravdak, these people born with magic were called 'heretics ', which in gravdak language meant,

'Against the will of nature' or

' Abomination to mankind and human existence '

Heretics were regarded as powerful witches after they showed their usefulness during gravdak's first World War. Heretics became valued and respected in the society and as well became an intrinsic part of gravdak's Royal Army. Heretics are classified into five based on their powers.

Elementriak - Heretics with the ability to manipulate elemental forces. There are five known groups under the elementriak.

Bright burn 🔥 - people with the ability to manipulate fire.

Torrent makers - people with the ability to manipulate water 💧.

Cloud ☁️ dancers - people with the ability to control the weather and sky.

Tremors - people with the ability to manipulate earth.

Glacias - people with the ability to manipulate ice 🧊.

Auras - Heretics who possess unique abilities.

Spell casters - heretics who rely solely on the use of spells and are known practitioners of spells.

Elixirs - Heretics who make magic potions, poison, medicine, and other substances using magic.

Alchemist - Heretics with the ability to change or alter the physical or chemical properties of an object or substances in order to recreate something new. This art is called transmutation, which combines both science and magic.

Although they spread all over the world. The king of gravdak has been preparing his royal armies in order to invade the cryptic and find the dark heretic, the perpetrator of the calamity that has been befalling gravdak for centuries. The cryptic was known to be a very dangerous place, the dark reality that was created by the dark heretic ( an extremely powerful heretic considered to be the most powerful witch) using the forbidden knowledge from the book of shadows, an ancient all powerful grimoire that contained what was known as the " FORBIDDEN KNOWLEDGE 🚫" . 'for a knowledge gained , there is a price to pay. The book of Shadows has been lost for years with no one knowing how it got lost, making its disappearance a mystery. The cryptic was a thick dense forest, with long leafless trees 🌳 and always had a gloomy or dark appearance. The royal army of gravdak passed through a series of vigorous training in order to invade the cryptic and find the dark heretic. The royal army of gravdak had only three days left to invade the terrifying cryptic. in gravdak, the heretic discovery guild was responsible for testing children born in gravdak in order to find out if they have magic ( that is , if they're heretics). they made use of a special injection 💉 called an invoker, which if a person has magic in them, it will flare up, which is only visible through the eyes 👀, as it appears as a bright azure or blue spark of light in the eyes which indicates that they have magic, that is to say, they're heretics.

The heretic discovery guild were the ones who trained heretics on how to use their magic before they were recruited into the gravdak royal army as additional reinforcement. A woman died shortly after giving birth. Her two babies were a boy and a girl, but before she died , she handed their care over to her younger sister merra and then told her the name that she should call them. The boy / male 👱‍♂️child was to be named Patrick Balewitch while the girl/ female 👱‍♀️ was to be named Mayfair Balewitch. Their surname Balewitch was the name of their grandmother 👵. After Lysa's husband left her and travelled without any trace, she decided to give them the name of her mother rather than the name of her traitor husband. king 🤴 dorak of gravdak prepared the gravdakian royal army of soldiers to invade the cryptic. they were assisted by seraphina and azra, two powerful bright burn 🔥 for extra reinforcement as they venture and journey into the cryptic. when they entered into the cryptic, everywhere was so lonely while the atmosphere above the cryptic was looking gloomy and dark robed. As they went further and deeper into the cryptic, they began to hear strange distant noises/ sounds as the birds 🐦 🐦‍⬛ in the air scattered and flew in a disorganised manner/way. The cryptic was flooded with dark wraiths( demonic creatures created by the dark heretic that draw power from the night and can sense human souls to devour them ) . The dark wraiths started coming one after the other as they influx the air with rushing force. The dark wraiths attacked each of the gravdakian soldiers simultaneously. seraphina and azra used their fire 🔥 magic to launch powerful fire attacks at the dark wraiths, but they were just too much and overwhelmed the popularity and number of gravdakian soldiers. so they decided to retreat immediately, knowing that they were outnumbered by the dark wraiths. seraphina and azra stayed in opposite directions to create a fire 🔥 wall 🧱 in order to protect them and the gravdakian soldiers from the malicious attacks of the dark wraiths. only 10 (ten) gravdakian royal soldiers were left out of 20(twenty ) gravdakian royal soldiers that made it into the cryptic. king dorak was furious and confused at that point, trying to figure out what to do next. Mayfair and her brother Patrick were both tested by the heretic discovery guild using the invoker, but both of them proved negative and the absence of magic, so they weren't heretics. In gravdak, the most valued and used class of heretics were the elementriak because of the versatility of their magic while the others were given a special role to play or transferred to other distant lands for training and to serve there as well. Adriana was in charge of the heretic discovery guild and also trained the heretics on the effective, precise use of their Witch power ( the ability to do magic ). Adriana was considered to be exceptionally powerful, as she was both a bright burn 🔥 and a cloud ☁️ dancer.

' Witch power generally is governed by two core principles. Order and Chaos. Over the years, heretics have been taught on the understanding and application of these principles, which governs the use of their Witch power. I'll dive into these two principles for better clarity. Order is the effective use of your witch power (magic) with balance and stability. for instance, being able to create and launch magic fire 🔥 ✨️ balls or being able to manipulate water 💧 molecules for a powerful attack. in contradiction to order, chaos, on the other hand, is the dangerous use of your witch power, which is considered to be unstable and against the natural balance of magic itself and highly destructive use of magic. It is very important to know how to use the two and balance the mastery of them, but while order is not a wild use of magic but focused,the mastery of chaos alone is highly forbidden and unorthodox. You all will be properly trained on how to use your magic.

Patrick was a good and talented craftsman and always dreamed of going beyond the outskirts and borders of gravdak to showcase his incredible talent, although Mayfair promised him that she would help and assist him in fulfilling his dreams and passion. Mayfair, on the other hand, wanted to be recruited as one of the gravdakian royal army and become a soldier. Mayfair had a male friend who she knew right from childhood and developed a deep bond of friendship 🧡 with. his name was Gerald, a popular traveller in both the boundaries of gravdak and beyond the gravdak borders. Gerald was aware of Mayfair's dream and unwavering passion to become one of the soldiers of the gravdakian royal army. She was inclined to this dream of becoming a soldier and fighting for the good of her land as well as protecting people from harm or danger, although Gerald didn't want her to get trained inside the harsh walls of the gravkan army as female soldiers were very rare with the exception of those born with magic who undergo vigorous training under the gravdak teacher and merely involve in harsh trainings as they were just used as reinforcement of the army not necessarily a major gravdakian royal soldier. Gerald decided to take Mayfair to the arac soldier quarter located at the east end while gravdak was at the north top wing. His childhood friends who had become strong and formidable soldiers for the East Land resided and trained there as the arac soldier quarter was the headquarters for the aracian army. Patrick stayed back, awaiting for the unknown returning of his twin sister. Gerald and Mayfair travelled to the east end, arriving at the arac soldier quarter. king dorak was still eager to complete his motive of invading the cryptic and capturing the unknown dark heretic who shaped the dark and unpredictable world.
