Let's start
Taehyung and Jungkook had been best friends for years. They did everything together—studied, laughed, shared secrets, and spent almost every day side by side. Everyone saw how close they were. Everyone thought they were perfect for each other.
Taehyung was an omega, quiet and warm. Jungkook was an alpha, strong and protective. They fit so well, like pieces from the same puzzle.
Taehyung knew his feelings. He had fallen in love with Jungkook slowly, over time, in the little things—his smile, his voice, his scent. He didn’t try to fight it. He just loved him silently, gently, from the background
But Jungkook never said anything. He never looked at Taehyung that way. Maybe he didn’t notice. Or maybe he chose not to.
So Taehyung smiled and stayed by his side, even when it hurt. Because sometimes, loving someone meant never saying it out loud

Jungkook pulled up in front of the Kim mansion right on time, parking his car with practiced ease. He checked his hair in the mirror once, sighed, then leaned back. He didn’t have to wait long.
The front door opened, and Taehyung came out—tight black jeans, fluffy brown sweater hanging off one shoulder, glossy lips, and that usual bored expression like the world didn’t deserve him.
He walked down the stairs slowly, dramatically, like it was a fashion show runway.
JEON JUNGKOOK
(blinking hard):
You… seriously dressed like that to class?
Taehyung threw his hair back and smirked as he opened the door.
KIM TAEHYUNG
You’re welcome.
JEON JUNGKOOK
I didn’t say thank you
KIM TAEHYUNG
(getting in):
You were thinking it. Don’t lie. I look good, and you know it.
JEON JUNGKOOK
(muttering as he drove off):
You’re going to kill me one day…
Taehyung sipped from the coffee Jungkook had brought him—he always did—and made a face.
KIM TAEHYUNG
Did you forget the vanilla syrup again?
JEON JUNGKOOK
(defensive):
No! I asked for extra, actually.
KIM TAEHYUNG
Hmm… good boy.
Jungkook nearly swerved into the next lane.
JEON JUNGKOOK
Yah—don’t say that while I’m driving!
KIM TAEHYUNG
(smirking):
Why not? You like it when I call you that?
KIM TAEHYUNG
Okay, okay, don’t growl. My delicate omega ears can’t take it
Jungkook sighed, gripping the wheel tighter, while Taehyung relaxed in the seat, humming softly. The sunlight poured in through the window, making his skin glow. His scent filled the car—sweet, soft, but always with a sharp little twist, like cinnamon.
KIM TAEHYUNG
You know… you never compliment me anymore.
JEON JUNGKOOK
That’s not true. I said you look good earlier.
KIM TAEHYUNG
No, you questioned my outfit like a confused grandpa. There’s a difference.
JEON JUNGKOOK
I wasn’t confused. Just… surprised. It’s tight
KIM TAEHYUNG
(smug):
Exactly. So admit it—you were staring.
Jungkook opened his mouth to argue but closed it again.
KIM TAEHYUNG
(grinning):
Caught you.
They pulled up to a red light. Jungkook drummed his fingers against the wheel, trying to stay cool.
JEON JUNGKOOK
Do you always flirt this hard in the morning?
KIM TAEHYUNG
(innocently):
This isn’t flirting. If I were flirting, you’d be stuttering by now.
JEON JUNGKOOK
(quietly):
I already am.
Taehyung turned to look at him, a little caught off guard. His smile softened for just a moment, but he recovered fast.
KIM TAEHYUNG
Then stop being cute and drive, alpha. We’re late.
JEON JUNGKOOK
You’re the one who took forever to come out of your palace.
KIM TAEHYUNG
I had to choose an outfit that made you suffer. Mission accomplished
JEON JUNGKOOK
You're evil.
KIM TAEHYUNG
(with a wink):
And yet, you still pick me up every morning.

JUST BEST FRIENDS ~3
The college courtyard was loud with chatter and footsteps as students spilled onto campus
As soon as Jungkook parked the car in the college lot, Taehyung stepped out, fixing his sweater and fluffing his hair like a runway model. Students turned their heads—of course they did. Taehyung was a walking daydream, and he knew it.
Jungkook followed, silent but close behind, eyes scanning the crowd. He didn’t like the way people stared at Taehyung—but he was used to it. Taehyung was stunning, after all.
Just as they passed the central fountain, someone came running.
Voice rang out, and within seconds, a slim orange-haired boy jumped into Taehyung’s arms, hugging him tightly. Taehyung let out a small surprised laugh but hugged back just as warmly.
Jimin a new transfer student
Taehyung cooed, brushing the boy’s bangs back and leaning in to kiss his cheek. Jimin pouted playfully and pecked his forehead in return, their giggles soft and full of affection.
They looked too close. Too close.
Jungkook froze. Then he clenched his jaw, his fingers curling into a fist.
He stormed forward without a word, grabbed Taehyung’s wrist, and yanked him away from Jimin so fast that the boy let out a surprised gasp. Jungkook didn’t say anything to him—he didn’t even look at him. His focus was fully, darkly on Taehyung.
