One - Prologue
So guys this is author... I am going to write in POV format, so that you could understand the characters feeling more.
Kumori (Chiyo)
"Ugh" My head throbbed in pain. I force my eyes to open, which was heavy.
Kumori (Chiyo)
"Where am I?" I found myself in a familiar yet unfamiliar bed. It was a cozy room, filled with warmness. I looked around, shifting my throbbing head slowly.
Kumori (Chiyo)
"This place--!" It was unusually familiar to me... it was my room on the real world.
Kumori (Chiyo)
Why am I in the real world? How did I--- wait....
Kumori (Chiyo)
"Hayato!!!!" I shouted in terror.
Kumori (Chiyo)
"No!No! remember it, Chiyo!" I tell myself to remember the past. I slap my head against my pillow.
Kumori (Chiyo)
"Yeah! I am getting it.... Yeah...." Memories filled My mind,dizziness filling me.
Hayato
"Chiyo, I will get us some Ice-cream!" Hayato asked me, at our first day at the Island. We were on a trip, to spend a lovely time together.
Hayato crossed the road and bought us ice cream and when he crossed the road back again to my side....!
A huge truck came out of nowhere.... and I-I-....
Kumori (Chiyo)
I felt my heart beat rapidly against my chest.
Kumori (Chiyo)
What did I do?
Yeah... I jumped towards him and we-we
Kumori (Chiyo)
My head throbbed heavily
Kumori (Chiyo)
My worries didn't pass away. There were still there, How did I end up in the real world? Did Hayato go to an Hospital?
Questions filled my mind, my head got heavy, my eyes went blurry.
I slowly fell down, onto my bed.
Mother
"Kumori!" I heard my mother's sweet voice shouting in terror.
Kumori (Chiyo)
How long has it been since I heard her voice.... Yeah... I am Kumori, not Chiyo.
And I fell down, to a short slumber.

Mother
"Kakeru, will she be okay?" I could hear my mother's voice. Her was was so sad...
Kakeru
"She will be alright, Aunty! I know she will be..." Kakeru's voice !are me drag myself from the bed. He is the one, who will know everything!
Kumori (Chiyo)
"Ugh... Kakeru..." I called out Kakeru , as I placed my hands over my throbbing head.
Kakeru
"Chiyo, are you awake?" Kakeru grabbed a hold of my shoulders.
Kumori (Chiyo)
"Yes, I am... I want to talk to you...." I tried my best to speak with my parched voice.
Mother
"Chiyo? Who is that? Why do you call Kumori that?" My mother asked questions a lot of questions about me being chiyo.
I glanced at Kakeru hoping for him to give a reasonable answer.
Kakeru
"It is the pet name we have her, aunty... I guess you don't have to stress her too much... Can you get us some lunch, aunty?" Kakeru smiled sweetly to my mom while I try my best to sit up on my bed.
Mother
"But, it's just 9'o clock now... and lunch will take time to make..." My mother piled up questions in front of Kakeru.
Kakeru
"That is exactly why I wanted you to make them! It takes longer so Chiyo could get some rest and lunch will have more nutrients in them! please do make a lunch aunty!" Kakeru gave my mother some reasonable answers while I took my phone to check the day.
Kumori (Chiyo)
"5th September? How long have I been in the real world?" I asked Kakeru after my mom went out of the room.
Kakeru
"You have been here for five days, chiyo and You were in asleep for three days!" Kakeru said me calmly, but I couldn't hide my worries, I felt my nerves cracking beneath my skin.
Kakeru
"Chiyo, what exactly happened? Tell me everything!" Kakeru asked me patiently but I can't let myself think about that terrible moment.
Is Hayato still safe? This question kept on running inside my mind.
Kumori (Chiyo)
"Hayato and I were on an Island... He went to buy me an ice cream... and.. and..." I stammered, no matter how many times I think about it, my tears flowed down my eyes.
Kumori (Chiyo)
"And he met with an accident but I jumped onto him and there was no damage to us ... but... I am worried... Kakeru!" I sobbed.
Kumori (Chiyo)
Is this really the end for us? But I won't let this be the end for us! I will never leave him!
Kakeru
"Chiyo, I am sure that Hayato is okay, but..." I saw hesitation in Kakeru's eyes.
Kumori (Chiyo)
"Tell me!" I figured that Kakeru found out something.
Kakeru
"Hayato... maybe he is not in the novel..." My heart froze.
Kumori (Chiyo)
"What do you mean, Kakeru?" I couldn't help my trembling body. All I wanted now was answers... from Kakeru.
Kakeru
"When I saw you here, I searched up for the novel and found that there was no such novels now.... which means it doesn't exist anymore..." Kakeru's words stabbed me like sharp arrows.
Kumori (Chiyo)
"Does that mean....." I shook my head. He is alive! I know Hayato is alive! He will never leave me! I covered my hands around my mouth, my tears won't stop.
Kumori (Chiyo)
"He is alive! He will be alive! Kakeru, help me find him!" I say, gulping, to lubricate my parched voice.
Kumori (Chiyo)
I felt my salty tears reach my lips, it flowed down my cheeks, extremely hot! My tears were! I wiped my tears with my hands hastily.
Kakeru
"Chiyo, I am not sure about his death." I glared at Kakeru. I was almost a psycho now.
Kumori (Chiyo)
"He will never die!" I said Kakeru.
Kakeru
"Chiyo, I know how you feel...." Kakeru consoled me. He is the only one who knew about my real feelings, my true friend.
Kumori (Chiyo)
"I am sorry..." I tell him, his hands put my head on his broad shoulders.
Kakeru
"Cry, all you want.... I will tell you what I got to know..." Kakeru patted my head as I cried.
Ten minutes passed and my eyes dam has scarcity of water now.
Kumori (Chiyo)
"Tell me now.... " I tell him, his hands made my body lay on my bed.
Kakeru
"I don't know if it is really real or not but Hayato maybe dead but he can't also be dead..." I listen closely to his voice.
Kakeru
"There are two possibilities to take place due to the disappearance of the novel... One, The characters disappeared along with the novel and two, The characters were shattered into the other novels." He told me but I felt confused by what he said.
Kakeru
"Confused?" He asked me and I nodded like a homeless dog.
Kakeru
"The second point means that, the characters might have been thrown out of the novel and be sent to the other novels. Each character can end up in different novels... they are transmigrated from their original novel to some other novel..." he halted, giving me a shock.
Kumori (Chiyo)
"So you mean that Hayato could be alive?" I asked him the only question that mattered me the most.
Kakeru
"Yes... and Chiyo, I guess with the disappearance of the original novel, you can back to your own world." Kakeru added.
Kumori (Chiyo)
So, it is all due to the disappearance of the novel....
Kumori (Chiyo)
"But why did the novel suddenly disappear into thin air?" I asked Kakeru the question which raised in my head.
Kakeru
"This... I am not sure myself...My guess is that, it maybe related to Hayato and your death... since you both met with an accident, the novel could have come to an end ... but it's disappearance .... is still a mystery..." Kakeru said, leaving me shocked.
Kumori (Chiyo)
Did we really die in the novel?
Kakeru
"Chiyo and one important thing... do you really love Hayato?" Kakeru asked me. Is that even a question?
Kumori (Chiyo)
"Yes... I love him with all my life!" I tell him, patting my chest.
Kakeru
"That's good to hear... " Kakeru gave me a faint smile.
Kumori (Chiyo)
"Is something a matter?" I asked him, looking at his sad face.
Kakeru
"I thought that until death you both will be together Chiyo... but it seems that it cannot happen..." Kakeru said in a low voice.
Kumori (Chiyo)
"What do you mean?" My heart throbbed for truth, I want to live with hayato uptil my death!

Chapter 3
Kakeru
"Chiyo, only true love could help you right now!" Kakeru's words were making stuffs more mystery to me. I wanted to know the truth already, but Kakeru asked me if I love Hayato at least a thousand times... is there something horrible that i have to go through?
Kakeru
"Chiyo, Hayato... if he is alive in another novel, then you have to find him!" I can do that! I am sure that I will find hayato!
Kumori (Chiyo)
"I will!" I said confidently but my confidence didn't last long.
Kakeru
"Hayato would've lost his memories..." He halted giving me an attack. What does he mean by saying that he won't have his memories?
Kumori (Chiyo)
"Will hayato forget about me again?" I could feel my eyes wet, I am about to cry but I hold them inside.
Kakeru
"Yes.. and Hayato's physical appearance would've changed and it is tough to find him..." Kakeru added surprises to me.
Kumori (Chiyo)
"Then how? How will I be able to find him?" I asked him in fear. I can't lose Hayato anymore!
Kakeru
"Chiyo, first we have to confirm his existence! Since, I am the author I can feel his existence only I get inside my novel... but since my novel has disappeared right now.. it is hard to get find my novel..." Kakeru said and I closely listened to him.
Kumori (Chiyo)
"So... how is the other way?" I asked him in calm but I knew that my nerves were bursting underneath my skin out of fear.
Kakeru
"We have to go to the 'Library of the lost one's'" Kakeru sounded indifferent.
Kumori (Chiyo)
"Is there anything wrong with this library?" I asked him, as his still remained uneasy.
Kakeru
"This Library is where the disappeared novels, lost and dead souls of the humans who transmigrated and a Novel's characters go to. Only something that is dead can enter there, chiyo..." He told me, I remained shocked. Is it such a deadly place?
Kumori (Chiyo)
"Then how can we? " I had no idea how to get inside such a library.
Kakeru
"You can!" He said me, I remained confused.
Kumori (Chiyo)
"How can I?"
Kakeru
"You are dead chiyo! You are dead in my novel, so you can legally go there, to that library!" Kakeru shouted in joy but I was struck by a question.
Kumori (Chiyo)
"What do you mean by legally, Kakeru?"
Kakeru
"The library of the lost one's has got three laws and it is strictly maintained by the 'first dead'." He continued as I listened to him closely.
Kakeru
"The first law is that all the disappeared Novels, comics, etc shall be sent here and preserved here."
Kakeru
"The second law is, All the lost and dead souls shall reside here."
Kakeru
"The third law is that no author/ novel/ comic/humans, shall come to the Library of the lost one's. This place remains a sacred place for the dead, and lost one's under the guidance of the 'first dead'" The name 'first dead' caught my attention.
Kumori (Chiyo)
"Who is a first dead?"
Kakeru
"He is the one who was the first sent soul inside a novel and first dead one too... It is said that he drifted to a place called 'Lost hell'. Just like how we say that there is two ends for people one is hell and the other is heaven... the same way the one ending for the Novel's and the souls is hell. and 'happy heaven' is for those books that are completed and the souls of the characters are preserved in happy heaven."
Kumori (Chiyo)
"So, who guides the happy heaven?"
Kakeru
"'The happy one' is his name. He is the first one who ended up in happy heaven without dying or lost."
Kumori (Chiyo)
"Okay... if a completed story goes to happy heaven then does it disappear from the real world?"
Kakeru
"No! Completed stories stay there in happy heaven. They don't disappear from the real world."
Kumori (Chiyo)
"How do you know these Kakeru? and does every human know this?" I asked Kakeru my basic doubt.
