Gabby’s dad
I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU TO TIDY THE HOUSE!
Gabby’s mum
I-I didn’t have enough time. I-I had t-to.
Gabby’s dad
*slaps her* SHUT UP, WOMAN! I THOUGHT YOU WERE BETTER THAN THIS!
Gabby’s mum
I didn’t have enough time. I-I had to-
Gabby’s dad
*slaps her again* I DON’T HAVE ENOUGH TIME FOR YOUR EXCUSES! GO, CLEAN THE HOUSE!
Gabby’s mum
*cleans the house*
Behind the living room door, Gabby and her older brother are listening to them
Tyler
Dang, another fight again?
Gabby
It’s so stupid. Why can’t dad clean the house?
Tyler
Because he’s too “important” for that. He’s so old school.
Gabby
Yeah. I think mum should stand up for herself, though.
Tyler
And risk getting beat to death? As if.
Gabby
I just…I want to go and stand up for her out there, you know?
Gabby
She doesn’t deserve any of this.
Tyler
Hear you there. She really doesn’t. I would easily beat dad up if I could.
Gabby
*laughs* I’d love to see you try.
Tyler
I doubt you’d be able to do much better than me.
Gabby
Ha! I bet I could do far better.
Tyler
You can’t even beat Zack in an arm wrestle.
Gabby
*punches him lightly* Shut up! He’s strong.
Tyler
For a twelve year old?
Gabby
*gives him a dirty look*
They both walk upstairs and head to bed. Gabby struggles to sleep, though.
Gabby
*thinks* Why is dad even like this? Can mum not file a report of abuse or divorce him?
Gabby
It’s none of my business, anyway. Maybe I should just not get involved.
Gabby
Besides, I have other things to worry about.
Gabby
Like having to continue another week of school tomorrow.
Episode 2
Gabby wakes up early and gets ready for school. She grabs some toast and quickly eats it
Tyler
*walks pasts her and yawns* What’s got you in such a hurry?
Gabby
*mouth full* Just want to get to school on time
Tyler
You’re always on time.
Gabby
*swallows* And I’m going to keep it that way.
Gabby rushes upstairs and brushes her teeth. When she walks out, she still has a few minutes to spare
Carlos
Where’s Mr Dinosaur? I need him.
Brianna
You don’t need Mr Dinosaur for kindergarten, Carlos.
Carlos
*sounding like he’s about to cry* I do!
Violet
You can bring toys to kindergarten.
Brianna
I know that. I’m not stupid.
Gabby
Here’s Mr Dinosaur, Carlos. *hands him Mr Dinosaur*
Gabby
Let’s try to not get into any fights this morning, ok? I’m sure mum would love a morning without any fights.
Brianna
*rolls eyes* Fine.
Zack
*skates past Carlos, nearly landing on him with his skateboard* Coming through!
Zack
*trips over a toy* Oof!
Gabby
*helps Zack up* Be careful. Didn’t mum tell you no skateboarding in the house?
Zack
She did. But that’s no fun.
Gabby
If you want to go on your skateboard so bad, go outside.
Zack
*grabs skateboard* Fine.
Gabby gets all her younger siblings breakfast. As she’s about to head out the door, she sees her mother.
She has red marks on her cheeks and bruises all over her face and arms.
Gabby
*concerned* Mum, are you ok?
Gabby’s mum
Oh, me? I’m fine, dear.
Gabby’s mum
*lies* Oh, nothing. Just-just tripped and fell.
Gabby
Well, I’m going to school now. I got all the younger ones breakfast. I hope that saves you the hassle of having to do too much.
Gabby’s mum
*hugs Gabby* Thank you so much, dear. I don’t know what I’d do without you. Your brother does nothing.
Gabby
*hugs back* That’s just Tyler.
Gabby
*walks out the door* Bye!
Gabby walks down the empty street as she heads to school. She loves leaving the house early to catch a glimpse of the sun as it rises.
She also loves the morning air and vibe that comes along with it. It makes her mind refreshed and relaxed for the day.
Danny
Oh, hey, it’s Little Miss Sunshine!
Gabby
*mutters under her breath, annoyed* Danny…
Danny
*walks beside her* What brings you out here so early?
Gabby
I was hoping to avoid seeing you. Why are you up so early?
Danny
Felt like it. And, just so you know, you love my company.
Gabby
*says sarcastically* Oh, absolutely. I just love your annoying presence accompanying me to school.
Danny
*sniffs the air* Ew, why did you fart?
Gabby
Excuse me? If anyone farted, it was not me!
Danny
Ah, ‘cause girls don’t fart?
Danny
*looks down at me* I have been meaning to ask you something, Gabby.
Gabby
Yeah? And what’s that?
Gabby
*thinks* He better not ask me out.
Gabby
*thinks* I like someone else.
Danny
Why are you so short?
Gabby
*eyes narrow and thinks* Oh, that’s it. Of course
Gabby
*says sarcastically* Maybe because I wanted to try and be a mouse.
Gabby
It’s totally not just genetics.
Danny
You sure do smell like a mouse.
Gabby
I smell that bad?! *sniffs herself*
Danny
You seriously take things too seriously. Why do you even want to- oh.
Danny
*voice sounds kind of sad and annoyed* You want to impress Lloyd, huh?
Gabby
*embarrassed* I-uh-no-I-uh-I do not!
Danny
It’s obvious that you like him, Sunshine. Everyone knows it.
Danny
Yeah. That’s why you’re so annoying. I don’t think he likes you.
Gabby
Why would you say that?!
Danny
Because. He doesn’t like annoying girls with annoying voices and an annoying attitude.
Danny
Hey, no one tells me to shut up.
Danny annoys Gabby for the rest of the walk to school. He is known as a bully in Kingsmill high.
When they get to school, Gabby immediately walks to her locker. Suddenly, her best friend, Zoe, appears at her locker*
Zoe
*happy* Gabby! I missed you!
Gabby
*smiles* I missed you, too. Even though it was only two days.
Zoe
Most boring two days of my life. All I did was-
Gabby doesn’t listen to Zoe as she sees her crush walk into school.
Lloyd Thompson. High school girl magnet. He is very popular and all the girls seem to like him. If he wanted to, he could date any girl he wanted to date in the whole school. In Gabby’s mind, he didn’t even know that she existed.
People had mixed opinions on him. Girls like Gabby absolutely loved him. They all dreamed of dating him. Girls like Zoe found him nice but didn’t have any love interest in him. Some boys were friendly with him or just found him a nice person. Boys like Danny seemed to absolutely hate his guts for no reason. No one wanted to ask Danny why he hated him as he was a bully.
There were two popular boys in school. The second was Danny. He was popular for a completely different reason.
Danny Rylan. High school bully. Apart from being incredibly handsome, he was a bully. This made girls go off him and not want to date him. Any girls that did date him broke up with him because they couldn’t handle him. It was either that or he clearly didn’t love them.
Danny didn’t really like any of the girls in their school. He only ever hooked up with them for fun. Otherwise, he never hung out with any girls. When he did, they all either feared him or obsessed over him. But, for some reason, he seems to always want to hang out with Gabby.
Anyway, back to the story.
Zoe
Gabby? Hello? Are you even listening to me?
Zoe
Distracted by Lloyd’s beauty? Yeah, I know.
Zoe
Let’s just ignore what I was saying about my weekend and just get you to class.
They both walk to class together
Episode 3
You guys can skip this episode if you want as I’ll just be telling you a bit about all the main characters
Obviously, I’ve already done two of them so I’ll just reintroduce them and all
I won’t say too much about them
Gabby Wilson. The main character in our story. She is a pretty girl who everyone either wants to be or thinks that she is weak. Two boys like her in the story. One is her enemy, the other her crush. She is seventeen years old.
Danny Rylan. (I have already introduced him). He is the high school bully and one of Gabby’s love interests. He has a crush on Gabby, even though they are enemies. He is seventeen years old and girls do find him handsome.
Lloyd Thompson. (I have also already introduce him). He is a cocky and full of himself boy who all the girls have a crush on. He is the schools girl magnet. He is one of Gabby’s love interests and he likes her. He is also seventeen years old. (I think he has a very slappable face)
Zoe McConnell. She is Gabby’s best friend. She is Gabby’s helper in picking boys and trying to get over a breakup or fight that Gabby has. She is very sassy and kind. She can easily handle boys like Danny and his friends. She is seventeen years old.
Matt Walter. Danny’s best friend. Matt has major anger issues and has problems controlling them. He wants to find a girl that can help him control his anger. He tries to support Danny and help him but sometimes Danny lashes out. Him and Danny both have major anger issues. He is seventeen years old.
Tyler Wilson. He is Gabby’s older brother. Girls are also attracted to him but aren’t too fussed on dating him. This is because he never shows any emotion and is always nonchalant. For some reason, the girls in his school seem to find that handsome or attractive, though. He is eighteen years old.
Violet Wilson. This is Gabby’s youngest sister. She tends to speak her mind a lot and struggles to lie. People appreciate her honesty, though. Violet is six years old.
Brianna Wilson. She is one of Gabby’s younger siblings. Brianna is twins with Zack. Despite being his twin, they are both very different. Brianna is very sassy and sarcastic. She is twelve years old.
Zack Wilson. He is one of Gabby’s younger siblings. He is twins with Brianna. He is not as smart as Brianna but is far more sporty than her. Zack is a very happy and fun kid, unlike Brianna. He is twelve years old.
Carlos Wilson. He is the second youngest in Gabby’s family. He doesn’t speak much and he is very quiet. He is eight years old.
Gabby’s mother. There’s not too much to say about her but she is very kind and has to try and tolerate her husband. He abuses her and she can’t stand up for herself because she is scared of him. She is forty years old.
Gabby’s father. There’s not too much to say about him, either. He is just the abusive father who doesn’t love his family at all. He wants them all to die. He is forty-two years old.
Conrad. Gabby’s mother loves him but can’t marry him because of Gabby’s father. There’s not much to say about him apart from the fact that he is kind. He is forty-one years old.
Emily Rylan. As you can probably see, she is Danny’s younger sister. There’s not too much to say about her. She is kind, funny and nosy. She is also very loud. She is fourteen years old.
Lastly, Danny’s mother. There’s not much to say about her, but she shares most of the same traits as Emily. She is very nosy and kind. She is forty-one years old.
That’s all of the main characters.
Obviously, there are other side characters in the mix but they aren’t as important as these ones.
Obviously, I’m probably going to add more main ones. But these are the main ones for now.
