In the forest behind the village Lily was playing but wanted someone to chat with in that heat of the summer she lay down by the lake under the shadow of the tree before she realized it she fell a sleep. Lily felt a gentle hand shaking her as she opened her eyes she saw a boy who seemed about her age shacking her the boy spoke and said “Are you feeling ok” Lily smiled before answering “ Yes but who are you?” “I am Adam i thought he might be sick when i saw you sleeping.” Lily intruduced herself them asked if he wanted to chat. Adam said yes exitedly the two teenagers played till dawn then headed to the village together on there way they agreeded to meet by the lake again tommorow. Lily was excited to meet Adam the next morning as they agreed to go swiming Lily packed an extra set of clothes and rushed to the lake to meet Adam. By the time she arived he was waiting for her she put her extra clothes on the side and pulled his wrist jumping into the water they swam for hours leaving the lake at evining. They where both hungry but Lily has forgot her food wondering what to do Adam offered to share his sandwich. Lily agreed they both sat there eating the sandwich by the lake. Adam then asked if she attended school Lily said she did so he was so happy that he will also see her in school (there was only one school in the village) once they finished eating there sandwich they dicided to play hide and seek Lily was going to hide as she ran throw the forest looking for a place to hide she fell in a hole. Adam counted to 10 and started looking for her he looked for hours it was almost dawn and Lily was trapped in the whole it was dark fear overwellmed her she coudnt shout for help. Adam ran all over the forest shouting “Lily Lilywhere are you Lily Lily where are you” he paniked as he got closer to the whole where Lily was trapped he saw her braclet on the ground that he had given her this morning he new she was near then he spoted the hole in the ground it was deep and dark but he managed to climb down shouting for Lily thats when she heard him and replyed “Adam I am in the hole” her eyes closed in fear she was scared of dark places” As he landed on ground he found her hugging her knees eyes closed body trembeling in fear he hugged her then spoke and said “Its all fine, I am here Lily i wont go anywhere” Lily felt safe and started to calm down then asked “how will we get out?” Adam scratched the back of hos neck and said i come down climbing i can go back up using the same way but you cant you arr injured.” Adam thought for a moment the found an idea on how to leave together. Before i could react he pulled my hands over his shoulders and stood up.

Adam picked me on his shoulders and climbed up the whole, soon light started to appear it was only then that i saw my injuries. After we reached the ground I asked him to put me down but he refused, he carried me on his back till we reached the lake the he put me on a rock near the lack while he attended to my wounds. It was only then that i saw his hands they where bleeding from climbing the hole “your hand” i mumbled then took his hand to look at his wound. Soon we left the forest together, we agreed that would be our meeting spot from now on. We meet everyday for three weeks, soon summer was over so we aggreed to spend the last day of summer in the village. We met by the lake then headed to the village together we walked by the school agreeing on meeting under an old tree said to be 143 years old, after that we went to a libary as we needed some books for school it was only then that I knew that he was one year older that me and will be in 12th grade mean while i will be in 11th grade. Adam was surprised i am 17 he said “I thought you where 18 just like me.” Then we went to a nearby resturant and ate there while eating i asked Adam “what is your family name?” “My family name is the Thornevale” he amswered. “The Thornevale family, hmmm i feel i heard it before but where?” As I sat thinking he said “the new family that just moved onto town from the city.” “Yes, thats your family I heard your family sells fine clothes, is that true” “Yes” he replied. Then i asked “then how about we go pick outfits to wear to school” he nodded in agreement. We left for there store but it was preety far we walked a long distance till we reached there his mother welcomed me with open hands “Welcome to our shop, oh hi Adam” “Hi mom, this is” she cut him half way in his sentence “you mist be Lily, Adam talks about you all the time you are more beautyful than he discribed you!!” “Thank you, Adam looks just like you” “Mom” he said “We want to try some clothes for school, can you show us some. His mother nodded then started looking through a buntch of boxs then asked “what colors do you prefer” I said “I am fine with any color but prefer blue, red, green and light pink. Then she pulled 5 diffrent dresses after that 5 skirts and blouses with the colors i mentioned and a mixture of black and white. Then she started looking in another box and pulled 4 trousers and blouses for adam except for pink. We took turns trying on our outfits each looking more beutiful in the end i took the white blouse with the black skirt and Adam took the white blouse and black trousers. By the time we finished we were hungry so Miss Anna gave us cookies and told us to eat something before going home. We bought 2 playes of rice with a playe of meat fo sare. After we ate Adam walked me to my house before leaving once he disappeared from my sight i went inside. I prepared my clothes and books for tomorrow thats when my mother came in she told me “you have never been this excited for school before, what happened today?” I told her all anout what happened and Adam and Miss Anna then waved goodbye as she left. Then i had a bath and got ready for bed before falling asleep.”

I just woke up, 3 hours before school i changed my clothes into my morning fit and headed out for a 1 hour walk. I stopped by the grocery store to by some snacks and a sandwitch “are you ready for school” asked ms.Jenna. “Yes” i replied then i waved goodbye and headed home. By the time i arrived the sun was already out and the house looked so livly. I entered the house, put rhe food in the kitchen then went to the bathroom i boiled some water and prepared to take my bath. After the bath i put on my school uniform them went down to the kitchen. My mom had prepared my school bag i took my bag waved goodbye to my parents and left for school. I reached school half an hour early i went under the tree where i waited for Adam. I had no one to talk with aince my friends will be out of town for 1 more week. As i waited for him i remembered how cute he looked in his school uniform (blush) as i was lost in thought i heard “Earth to Lily, are you there.” Said Adam. “Hi Adam, i was umm..” i replied what do i tell him i was thinking about uhhhh. “Haha why do you look so panicked, uou dont have to explain why you where lost in thought” Adam said. Thats a relife then i said “are you ready for school.” “I guess, i dont like studying much.” I laghuged at his expression it was so adorable. “Stop it, thats embarrising” said Adam, uhh she looks so cute i wanna kiss her so bad (Adam thinking). “Its time for class, lets go” i said as i took his arm and ran insode the bulding. Our classes where near each other as we stopped by his class first since it was closest i siad “good bye, see you soon” then i hugged him and headed to class. (Lily thinking) when will the school day end, what will we do after school, can we go swiming, did he makeore friends in his class, what is he doing. All of a sudden i heard the teacher say “Lily, come up on the board and

answer this” “yes ma’am i replied thinking what were we studying. I stood staring at the boared wondering how to answer then i remebered him thinking would he help me like in the forest when i fell. The bell rang that very second i was saved it was time to go home. I saw Adam but he was talking to some boys, he made friends it seems. I went up to him abd said “hi, made new friends?” “Yes” he replied if only you knew i could only think of uour face when you hugged me so cute uhhh (Adam thinking). Then we left the bulding and sat under the tree we had a break for 15 minutes then 2 girls and 2 boys from my class came next to us Amy and Elizabith came with Jack and Ben. Amy asked “sorry to disturbe you Lily and Adam but we wanted to ask are you guys a cuple.” “What, no why would you think that?” I asked. “Well you are wearing matching clothes like a couple, eating lunch together under a tree and you talk together alot plus you hugged him earlier before he entered his class just like Luca and Jamica from Adams class they are dating plus you guys look cute together” she replied. (Lily and Adam blush) “no, no we are only friends.” Soon the day was over and it was late Adam dropped me home i said “goodbye see you tomorrow” then hugged him before turning to go in. “Wait” he said. “Yes, Adam whats the matter?” I replied. “Nnothing i just never mind goodbye” he said. How can i tell her i like her she only sees me as a friend i can at least stay by her side as a friemd (Adam thinking). Then he left.
