It was during the catered lunch in the sprawling garden that the change began.

The twins looked up. Two figures stood before them.
Park Jaemin — tall, immaculate, dressed in a hoodie despite the sun — looked down his nose like royalty surveying peasants.
And beside him stood Park Jimin — softer in posture but with eyes that glinted mischief and something sharper beneath. His smile was too sweet to trust.

Instead of forcing them out, the Park twins sat down.
They talked. Casually at first. About the school. Professors. Clubs. Then Jungkook mentioned he was majoring in bioengineering. Jaemin hummed in approval. Jimin leaned into Jungguk and whispered something that made the younger Jeon raise a brow and snort.
By the end of lunch, they hadn’t moved seats. They’d traded phone numbers.
And Jungkook had a strange feeling that this day had changed something irreversible.

Over the next week, things moved quickly.
Jungkook found himself sitting next to Jimin in history lectures. They would discuss philosophy between classes, Jimin often asking pointed questions that made Jungkook smile thoughtfully. They were oddly well-matched, intellectually sharp, and aesthetically opposite.
Meanwhile, Jaemin had practically glued himself to Jungguk's side. The two were often spotted leaning too close over cafe tables, whispering things that made Jungguk smirk and roll his eyes.
By Friday, the twins were invited to the Parks' private suite. The penthouse dorms reserved for elite heirs.
