Yeah. I'm his daughter Maahi Mandana.
I said introducing myself.
I called out for my father, and he casually walked out of the kitchen drying his wet hands from the towel.

As soon as dad looked at the man standing at the door the color of his face changed. He immediately rushed at the door shouting for me to run.

But before he could reach me the men in black pushed me out of their way inviting themselves in and grabbed my father before he could reach me.
Confused, I just stared at everything and the man at the door just stared at me with a dark smile pulled across his lips
He said and then screamed at me.

RUN TO YOUR ROOM!
Before I could obey him and sprint towards my room, the man at the door grabbed my hand from his one hand and pushed the door closed from the other, inviting himself into our house.
Maahi
Papa? What's happening? Who are these people?
I asked my father confused, and he just looked down and started to cry.
Akaay
What's happening is that your papa didn't return the money I gave him last month and so, tonight you're officially sold to me.
Maahi
I don't understand- Papa? Is this true? Y-you sold me?
Mr. Mandana
I thought I'd be able to repay. I was so sure I was going to win in that gambling match but I-
Maahi
You GAMBLED the money?!
My eyes grew big and hearing my scream Sahil too walked into the room to see what was happening.
Sahil
What's going on? Who are these people?
His innocent eyes looked at the man holding my hand, and my dad who were held by the goons and he immediately made a run towards the man
Sahil
Hey! You idiot! Let go of my sister! Leave her!!
He started pushing him, slapping his legs. And when none of his frail attempts worked on that man, he bit him.

*hisses jerking off his leg once and looked at the little boy in anger**
Before my father could say something to him, the man just took out his gun and shot my brother in his leg. He roared in pain.
I cried loudly and looked at my father in rage. It was happening because of him, because he took money from a very dangerous man.

Tch! I hate kids!! Too fucking noisy!
And then, he fired one more bullet at my little brother to silence him forever.
A shrill voice left my throat as his grip on my hand got loose and I slipped on the ground.
