The crowd murmurs. Flashbulbs click. The five TXT members sit stiffly, with Soobin and Yeonjun glancing at each other briefly.
Soobin
(takes a breath, jaw clenched, but voice steady) “Yes… the rumors are true.”

(blinks) “Soobin-ssi, are you confirming that you are in a relationship?”
Yeonjun places a hand on his lap, fingers twitching slightly. He nods calmly.
Yeonjun
(with a soft smile) “Yes. We’ve been dating. Me and Soobin.”
A wave of gasps runs through the room. TXT fans online lose their minds.

Yeonjun
(gently) “We want to stay true to ourselves and also to our fans who have supported us all the way.”
The other members sit in support silently.
Taehyun
(quietly, into the mic) “We all knew. And we supported them from the start.”
Beomgyu
“They’re not just our groupmates—they’re our family. We stand by them.”
Kai
(smiling sweetly) “Please be kind. Love is something to celebrate, not judge.”
📸 Cameras flash again. Reporters continue writing.

“Will this affect TXT’s group activities?”
Soobin
“Not at all. TXT remains a team. Our love for music—and our fans—hasn’t changed.”

Yeonjun
(looking straight into the camera) “To MOAs all around the world… thank you for loving us all these years. Please support us in this new chapter of our lives. We love you.”
Soobin
“Always. Thank you.”
As the press conference ends, the two walk off the stage side-by-side, their hands brushing. The rest of the members follow with warm smiles, whispering words of encouragement.

The Breakup Statement
VLIVE — Soobin’s solo live, 3 months after the dating confirmation
Soobin sits in the dorm room, wearing a black hoodie, barely any makeup. His hair is slightly messy. He stares at the chat screen for a long moment before speaking.
Soobin
(softly) “Hi, MOAs. It’s been a while…”
📱 MOAs in chat: — “SOOBIN OPPA 😭😭” — “Are you okay?? You look tired 😔” — “Where’s Yeonjun??” — “We miss Yeonbin 😭”
Soobin gives a faint smile, but his eyes look distant. He takes a deep breath.

“I… I wanted to talk to you directly, instead of letting the company release a statement.”
He pauses, staring at the comments scrolling nonstop.
Soobin
“Me and Yeonjun… we’re not together anymore.”
The chat goes wild with crying emojis, question marks, and disbelief.
📱 MOAs: — “NOOOOOOOOO 😭” — “WHAT HAPPENED???” — “Please tell me this is a joke 😭😭😭” — “WHY?????”
Soobin
(looking down, voice cracking) “We broke up on good terms… that’s all.”
There’s a long silence. He’s clearly holding back tears.
Soobin
“There’s no one to blame. Please don’t hate anyone. Especially not Yeonjun. He’s… he’s a wonderful person.”
He glances at something off-camera—a pair of framed polaroid photos.
Soobin
“We loved each other very much. I… still do. But sometimes… things don’t go the way you hope.”
📱 MOAs: — “I’m crying so bad rn.😭😭😭” — “We’ll support both of you no matter what.” — “You’re both so brave… thank you for being honest.”
Soobin
(forcing a smile) “TXT will continue. I’ll do my best. Please keep supporting Yeonjun too, wherever he is. He deserves all the love in the world.”
He brings his hand to his heart and bows his head.
Soobin
“Thank you for loving us. Truly.”
He ends the VLIVE, and the screen goes black.
TXT Dorm, minutes after the VLIVE
Taehyun
(quietly) “Hyung… are you okay?”
Soobin
(eyes closed, voice hoarse) “No… but I will be. Eventually.”
Beomgyu
“Where is Yeonjun-hyung? Why won’t he answer?”
Kai
(sitting beside Soobin, worried) “It’s like he vanished after the breakup. No posts. No messages.”
Soobin
(murmurs) “I don’t think he just left the group. I think… he left everything.”
The Disappearance
HYBE Building, Artist Relations Office
Two weeks after Soobin’s VLIVE.
BIGHIT Rep
“We’re officially announcing Yeonjun’s contract expiration today. He chose not to renew.”
Taehyun
(standing up) “What do you mean he chose?! He didn’t even talk to us!”
Beomgyu
(frustrated) “He just vanished. No goodbye. No letter. Not even a damn text!”
Kai
(sits down slowly) “He left… without a word.”
Soobin
(quietly, staring at his phone) “…He blocked me.”
His staying in a small apartment in Seoul after the breakup— night before his disappearance
Yeonjun is sitting at the edge of his bed, shaking, holding a pregnancy test with trembling hands. It reads “Positive.”
Yeonjun
(whispers) “…No. This can’t be happening.”
His phone buzzes. It’s a message from Soobin:
Soobin
“I miss you. I still love you. Can we talk?”
Yeonjun turns the phone off. He presses his palm gently over his stomach, a tear rolling down his cheek.
Yeonjun
“I’m sorry, Binnie… but I have to protect this baby.”
The Min Household, next morning
Yeonjun enters the living room, face pale, eyes puffy. His parents—Jimin and Yoongi—are drinking tea.
Jimin
“Baby, you didn’t sleep at all, did you?” (smiling sweetly) “Come eat—”
Yeonjun
(interrupts, voice shaky) “Omma… Appa…”
They both look up at him, sensing the seriousness.
Yoongi
(serious now) “What’s wrong?”
Yeonjun
(barely audible) “I… I’m pregnant.”
A long silence. Jimin drops his teacup. Yoongi’s eyes widen.
Yeonjun
“I’m pregnant. I found out last night. It’s real. I already had symptoms but… now I’m sure.”
Yoongi
(in disbelief) “Who—? Soobin?”
Yeonjun
(nods, tears falling) “But we broke up… and I don’t want him to know. I don’t want to burden him. I want to raise the baby alone.”
Jimin
(gets up, holding Yeonjun’s face gently) “My baby… you shouldn’t have to do this alone.”
Yoongi
(sighs, rubbing his temple) “You’re just a kid yourself, Jun-ah. But if you’ve made up your mind… we’ll support you.”
Jimin
“Where will you go?”
Yeonjun
“Somewhere far from Seoul. Somewhere no one will find me. Just until… I can give birth and raise him safely.”
Yeonjun at the train station, dawn
Yeonjun wears a hoodie and mask. He holds a small backpack and a coat clutched to his belly.
Jimin
(hugging him tightly) “Call me once you settle down. Even if it’s just once a month, okay?”
Yoongi
(pulling him into a rare embrace) “Take care of yourself. And the baby. I’m proud of you, son.”
Yeonjun
(whispers) “Thank you for everything. I’ll come back… when I’m strong enough.”
He boards the train. As it leaves the station, he watches Seoul disappear behind him.
Yeonjun
(to his stomach, softly) “Don’t worry, baby. Mommy’s here. I’ll keep you safe… even if it means never seeing him again.”
📍 Yeonjun disappears from the public eye. No farewell post. No interviews. Just gone.
