Rebirth of the Martial Prince

Chapter 0_Introduction

Main Characters:

1.Ryu Arvandor – The Reborn Prince

A sharp-minded former warrior reborn as the Third Prince of the Arvandorian Empire. With the Martial God System in his soul and a thirst for power in his heart, Ryu hides his deadly potential beneath a charming royal smile. Ruthless to enemies, loyal to his allies—and destined for godhood.

2.Kael Arvandor – The First Prince

Ryu’s older half-brother. Cold, calculating, and hailed as the strongest heir. He sees Ryu’s sudden growth as a threat—and would rather kill his own brother than risk losing the throne. A master of swordsmanship and the Shadow Serpent Technique.

3.Seris Elenwyn – The Iceflower Healer

A noblewoman from the Elven Dominion, gifted in both beauty and healing arts. Behind her calm demeanor is a tragic past and secrets of her own. Her fate becomes intertwined with Ryu’s—whether by destiny or something darker.

4.Master Doran – The Drunken Sage

A mysterious, eccentric martial master hiding in the lower slums. Once a famed cultivator of the Heavenly Iron Sect, now reduced to drinking and gambling. Takes interest in Ryu and teaches him ancient techniques that haven't been seen for centuries.

5.Aera – The Dragon Spirit

A sarcastic, ancient soul sealed within Ryu’s bloodline. Once the guardian of the Skyfire Temple, she guides (and scolds) Ryu through his journey—offering knowledge of lost techniques and dragonic power, but always at a price.

6.Empress Liora – Ryu’s Stepmother

The Empress of Arvandor and mother of the First and Second Princes. Cunning, ambitious, and manipulative. She views Ryu as a threat to her sons’ succession—and will stop at nothing to erase him from the palace.

7.Jin – The Street Rat Turned Shadowblade

Once a pickpocket, now Ryu’s loyal companion and secret bodyguard. Quick with a blade and quicker with his tongue. Trained in assassination and espionage, Jin becomes Ryu’s eyes and ears in the underworld.

Chapter 1_Death and Destiny

The rain came down in heavy sheets, soaking through Ryu’s cloak as he staggered against the alley wall. His breaths were ragged. Shallow. Blood oozed from the wound in his side, each drop swallowed by the muddy ground beneath him.

He never thought he’d die like this—betrayed by comrades he trusted, in a nameless backstreet, his sword snapped in half beside him.

"Figures," he muttered, voice barely above a whisper. "The people closest to you… they always aim for the heart."

His legs gave way, and he slid down the wall to the ground, the cold of the stone seeping through to his bones. He was numb. Not from the wound—but from everything. The battles. The loss. The lies.

He let out a shaky laugh, rain dripping from his chin. “Guess I wasn’t meant for peace after all…”

His vision blurred. The world dimmed.

And then, silence.

It felt like floating.

Weightless.

There was no pain. No rain. Just… nothing. Until something deep, ancient, and calm echoed through the void:

[System initializing… Matching soul frequency… 98.7% compatibility. Binding successful.]

Ryu’s eyes flew open—but he wasn’t in the alley anymore.

He lay on soft sheets beneath a canopy of gold and white. The room was bathed in sunlight streaming through silk-draped windows. It smelled of lavender and sandalwood.

"What… the hell?"

His voice. It sounded… younger. He lifted his hand. No scars. No calluses. Smooth, pale skin.

Then came the knocking. “Your Highness? May I come in?”

The door creaked open before he could answer.

A girl no older than twenty stepped in, her dark hair tied in a neat braid. She wore a servant’s uniform and looked like she hadn’t slept all night.

When she saw him sitting up, she gasped. “Prince Ryu! You’re awake!”

Prince?

She rushed to his side. “You collapsed during training yesterday. The court physician said your spirit was unstable. You’ve been unconscious for three days!”

Prince Ryu. Unstable spirit. Three days?

[Martial God Ascension System fully activated.]

[Welcome, Ryu. You have been reincarnated as the Third Prince of the Arvandorian Empire.]

His mind went blank.

No, not blank. Reeling.

Reincarnated?

A slow, disbelieving smile crept onto his lips. “You’ve got to be kidding…”

[Daily Starter Reward: 1x Beginner Martial Technique Scroll]

[You have gained: Iron Body Breathing Technique (Rank: Mortal-High)]

A scroll shimmered into existence before him, glowing faintly with golden script. He reached out instinctively, and the moment his fingers touched it, knowledge rushed into his mind—like it had always been there, waiting.

He gasped—images of warriors punching through boulders, channeling inner energy, controlling breath and power.

So this was cultivation? It was… insane.

A second life. A new body. A system. Power. A chance.

[System Tip: You may begin practicing. Progress will be tracked.]

[Would you like to open your Status Window?]

“Yes,” Ryu said aloud.

A translucent screen floated in front of his eyes.

He chuckled. “So I’m weak now. But that’s about to change.”

Later that evening, long after the maid had left, Ryu stood in the open courtyard behind his chambers. The air was still. The stars above shimmered like they were watching.

He knelt, steadying his breath, and began the Iron Body Breathing Technique.

He felt something shift within. A warmth flickered in his chest, then flowed through his veins like liquid fire. The ground beneath him trembled slightly.

[Technique leveled up: Iron Body Breathing – Level 2]

[Strength +1. Endurance +1]

He opened his eyes. His body felt stronger.

For the first time in either life, he felt truly alive.

[Congratulations. Your first step toward becoming a Martial God has begun.]

Chapter 2_The Empire of Arvandor

The morning sun climbed slowly over the towering spires of the royal palace, its golden light washing across polished marble domes and blooming skygardens. From his balcony, Ryu could see the capital city—Solhara—a sprawling patchwork of domed temples, merchant quarters, and bustling training arenas. The distant clang of blades echoed from the Military District.

It was a world built on strength.

A world where power wasn’t just respected—it was law.

And Ryu was at the center of it.

[System Update: Host Status]

He exhaled, letting the interface dissolve.

The Martial God System wasn’t just a cheat code—it was a blueprint. A guide. And if the world worked on tiers, he needed to understand them.

Thankfully, the royal library had answers.

Royal Library – Third Tower:

The scent of aged parchment filled the halls. Golden light filtered through stained glass, painting the polished floors in deep reds and blues. Ryu walked slowly, absorbing the echoes of the place. This part of the palace was rarely used—especially by the princes.

But he wasn’t just any prince anymore.

He moved to a section labeled:

“Martial Realms, Martial Theory and Internal Techniques – Imperial Edition”

Ryu pulled out a scroll bound in beast leather and unrolled it carefully.

Power Rankings (Cultivation Tiers):

These tiers define a person's martial level in the world of Arvandor. Each rank has 9 sub-levels (1–9), with 9 being the peak before breakthrough.

Mortal Realm – Beginner stage. Can crush rocks, but not yet supernatural.

Spirit Core Realm – Can harness internal energy (Qi) and perform basic techniques.

Earth Vein Realm – Controls energy through body meridians. Enhanced senses and speed.

Sky Pulse Realm – Breaks human limits. Can fly short distances and shatter mountains.

Heaven Ascension Realm – Wields elemental energy. Can form energy constructs (swords, shields).

Saint Realm – Semi-divine. Can influence weather, walk on air, and destroy cities.

Divine King Realm – Few reach this. Capable of commanding nations with a wave.

Void Emperor Realm – Rulers of realms. Can fight for days, tear open portals between worlds.

Martial God Realm – Mythical tier. Can rewrite reality, destroy continents, and live for millennia.

Technique Rankings (Martial Arts):

Techniques are graded by Tier and Grade. Grade goes from Low → Mid → High → Peak.

Technique Tiers:

Mortal Tier – Basic, used by soldiers and commoners.

Spirit Tier – Learned by sect disciples. Can enhance physical capabilities.

Earth Tier – Advanced. Involves elemental Qi and aura.

Heaven Tier – Rare. Only nobles and high sects possess them.

Divine Tier – Legendary techniques left behind by ancient cultivators.

Mythic Tier – World-altering. Often incomplete or hidden in ruins.

Godslayer Tier – Techniques used by Martial Gods. Reality-breaking

Example: Iron Body Breathing = Tier: Mortal | Grade: High

Effect: Strengthens muscles, increases internal Qi flow. Suitable for early physical training.

As he rolled up the scroll, Ryu heard footsteps. Light, quick—too quiet to be a guard.

He turned, hand instinctively hovering near his waist.

A girl stood at the edge of the aisle, holding a book to her chest.

She blinked at him. “Didn’t think princes came here.”

Ryu eyed her. Simple robes. Dust-stained sleeves. But her presence… calm, collected. Eyes sharp.

“You’re not a servant,” he said.

She smirked. “And you’re not just a prince, are you?”

Before Ryu could respond, her voice softened. “I’m Seris. I sort the records. You’re looking for techniques, aren’t you?”

He nodded slowly. “Something more than just breathing exercises.”

She stepped closer, lowering her voice. “There’s a sealed vault on the upper floor. Only royal blood can open it. They say it holds techniques from the Ancient Flame Dynasty—before Arvandor was founded.”

“Is that so?”

“Of course… you’d need a reason to request access. Or… steal it.”

Ryu chuckled, folding his arms. “And what would you get out of that?”

Seris shrugged. “A story worth remembering.”

Later that Night – Personal Training Grounds

The scroll Seris slipped him was old. Unmarked. Bound in red thread.

As he opened it, text glowed faintly on the page:

[You have obtained: Ember Fang Technique(Tier: Spirit Mid)]

His hands tingled.

"Breathe like a furnace. Strike like flame. Burn with the fangs of the ember wolf."

As he took his stance, the air around him pulsed with heat. His breath deepened. He jabbed forward—first strike. Flame flickered at his knuckles.

Then another. And another. Until his body was slick with sweat and fire licked at the air with each movement.

[Ember Fang Technique acquired. Level 1.]

And then a voice behind him:

“You’re hiding something, little brother.”

Ryu froze.

At the edge of the courtyard stood Kael, the First Prince. Cloaked in black and silver, his gaze sharp and unreadable.

“Since when did you train at night?” Kael asked, stepping forward.

Ryu straightened. “Since I decided I didn’t want to stay weak.”

Kael smiled—but it wasn’t kind.

“I hope you remember that when I take the throne.”
