I'm Elise. Just your average girl... and yeah, an orphan.
But unlike every cliché orphan story out there—full of drama, pain, and villains with evil laughs—my life’s actually kinda... peaceful.
No tragic thunderstorm scenes.
No cruel headmistress.

My orphanage? It's not some nightmare novel setup.
It’s home.
And the people there? Surprisingly kind. Like, genuinely kind.

But still... like every other kid, I want a home. A real one.

I’m 17 now—last year in the orphanage. Once I turn 18, I have to leave, just like everyone else did.
And let’s be real—no one’s out there looking to adopt a 17-year-old girl.
So... I gave up on that dream a long time ago.
