In a dark alleyway, you hear a faint sound of someone chasing someone or something. As the running stops, you can hear faint footsteps... and breathing, in a few seconds you hear a head rolling and blood spewing everywhere. The scene shifts, and we see a man wearing a black cloak and a mask covering his entire face the only thing visible is his glowing eyes

Then the scene shifts to someone or something that was killed. It was a weak demon. As we see its body slowly turning into dust and slowly disappears leaving nothing behind not even bones.

As mornings appear. We see inside the Amano household kitchen. Seeing Demo Amano cook breakfast for his sister Angelic Amano and his student and an adopted child Blaze Amano. As Blaze and Angelic speak about their high school eating eggs sausage and lettuce. While trying to force Demo to come there as well. Demo receives a mission to hunt a lower class demon, hunting an elementary school. Demo replies in a cold and distant voice, "Okay, I will head there. Thanks for informing me."

As Demo reaches the location provided to him, he sees a child about to be eaten whole. Demo throws one of his daggers towards the demon's head getting its attention. And cuts that demon's hand with a swift motion saving the child. He sets the kid in a safe area and then prepares to go all out with one dash demo and slice the demons head cleanly. He walks to the kid and asks are you all right. Are you hurt anywhere? The kid replies yes thank you for saving me mister. "Demo with a little gentle but still cold and distant voice" says that's good to hear. You were a strong boy but don't be reckless near demons okay they are dangerous. The kid asks Demo then why do you fight them. Why do you choose to risk your life mister why?

Because I am a hunter. It's my job to risk my life to earn a living I get assigned tasks that normally take 3 to 4 people to handle those demons, but hunters are classified with ranks and I turn out to be a high circle while others work together I work alone and use the soul of my opponent to fight their own kind. So yes I do fight,, but it's to protect this world. Everyone loves this world and it's my job to protect this world.

U should go and tell your teacher to evacuate everyone here and take them to a safe place lower class demons never come alone they always have an army following them, so they must be waiting to ambush someone. As Demo closes his eyes he hears a spell being chanted and then an immediate sharp gust of wind comes straight at him making his cheek bleed. Hmm, spell casting how interesting this will be exciting to play with.

As Demo senses Horde of demons coming near the school ground. Demo says in a cold voice "AHH I have been waiting for you guys to show yourselves. So are U here to check on You’re leader?? If you are then I have bad news for you guys your leader is dead.

Demo suddenly feels something is off as the other demons didn't flee the area after he thought he killed their leader. Demo senses a greater threat. But the kid who went inside to tell his teacher came outside with his teacher.

As the upper level demon seizes the opportunity and attacks the kid and the teacher. Demo blocks the attack but gets injured in the process but manages to counter-attack. As the demon steps back the kid and the teacher ask him if he was okay. Demo replies yes I am fine, but its dangerous outside please stay inside and keep all the children with you now go inside.

As the kid and the teacher go inside Demo gets up his wound slowly healing as he starts to speak your smarter than I thought using weak people who can't defend themselves as a way to injure me.

The demon replies to Demo you were calling that fool our leader do you know what I am. I am as Demo interrupts him and says I know Ur an upper class demon I can tell. Now if U think you're so high and mighty then why not check how strong you really are.

As demos wounds complete heals in those few seconds that the demon was shocked. As he has never seen healing magic used without being cast. The demon asks how are you able to heal that deep wound so quickly without using spells.

Demo replies so U think humans can only heal if they chant spells. The teacher and students were looking at the horde of demons outside their school and seeing one man there to protect them. They were trying to see how the fight would go.

As Demo takes a fighting stand holding 2 daggers. Demo realizes he can't move. As the upper demon orders to attack demo from all sides.

As the minions come close Demo says wow I didn't know U were this dumb to send them to their death and Demo nullified the spell holding him down slicing the demons head one by one while dodging restless attack from all side.

As Demo kicks one of the lower class demon in the air he seizes the chance to use that demon as a way to use his fighting technique as he jumps and slices the head of the lower class demon he uses its body as a foothold to use his technique.

Demo takes a deep breath and says in a cold and unfazed voice "dagger art rain of daggers" as they see multiple daggers falling alongside Demo killing every demon it strikes.

Now only the upper class demon remains standing on the field as he was out of demos skill range. As the demon charges towards demo wanting to kill him with one blow but when his hit as the dust settles he sees there is no one in the area he strikes.

Then the demon hears similar words in demos voice "dagger art falling petals" as Demo strikes the upper class demon down.

As the demons body slowly fades demo says Ur strong but you choose the wrong hunter to mess with.

As the students and the teacher come down they profusely thank demo for saving their lives. Demo replies no need to thank me it's my job to protect people.

As Demo turns to leave he says in a cold but gentle voice take care of yourself and don't get in trouble your the future of this world okay kids.

Then Demo makes call to the association and asks in a cold voice did U know there will be a upper rank here.

As the person who picked up demos call replies in a shaky voice no sir we didn't can U explain what happened there.
