Title: You're My Forever
by Nikitha
Chapter 1: The First Love
Anya — a beautiful girl with big, expressive eyes, long flowing hair, and a smile that could brighten even the dullest day. She was shy, yet warm to everyone. Quiet but not invisible. She studied well, kept to herself, and was loved for her simplicity.
Raunak — a handsome, cute boy, with skin like dark chocolate and a heart even softer. He studied well, was deeply loyal to his friends, and lit up every room he walked into. Raunak was an extrovert, full of life, always smiling, always spreading joy.
Love is destiny — and fate, when it decides, connects two souls in the most unexpected ways.
Fate gave Anya and Raunak their moment in the 8th standard.
At first, they barely noticed each other. They sat in the same classroom, shared the same lessons, but lived in different little worlds. Then, one day, something changed.
Raunak was chatting and laughing with his friends during a short break when a cool breeze drifted through the classroom window. As he turned his head casually toward the door, he saw her.
A girl walking in — her smile soft, her eyes kind, her presence so gentle it almost slowed time.
It was Anya.
Something in that moment hit him. Raunak didn’t understand it right away, but he felt... happy. He watched her silently. And the more he saw her — the way she smiled at others, the way she tied her hair, the way she sat with her books — the stronger that feeling grew.
It was love at first sight.
Raunak didn’t know what to call it, but he couldn’t stop thinking about her.
Days passed. He told his friends — the ones who knew Anya — about how he felt. He was nervous to confess directly. So, during one of the breaks, he finally spoke up.
“I think I like her,” he admitted shyly.
His friends were excited for him. One of them, who had known Anya for years, offered to talk to her.
Later that day, during another break, the friend walked up to Anya as they stood near the corridor, casually talking.
"Anya," she said with a playful smile, "someone likes you."
Anya was taken aback. "What? Who?" she asked, shocked, her cheeks warming slightly.
Her friend pointed across the corridor toward the boy standing with his group.
It was Raunak.
And in that one small moment — their eyes met for the very first time.
Anya had never thought of love before. She didn’t know how to recognize the feeling. But when she looked into Raunak’s eyes from afar, there was something about them — something honest, innocent, kind. She felt it. She felt seen.
Anya didn’t say anything at that moment. But deep inside, something shifted.
She decided — without a full reason, without a full plan — to give him a chance.
And just like that, Anya and Raunak’s story began.
Chapter 2: The Beginning
Anya accepted the boy. And from there, everything quietly began.
Anya, still shy and unsure of what love truly meant, didn’t talk to Raunak at first — and Raunak, though confident, was just as hesitant when it came to her. They were two hearts beating fast in silence.
Raunak’s way of expressing his love wasn’t through calls or texts. They didn’t have phones, and he didn’t dare speak too much in front of others. Instead, he gave Anya small chocolates and wrote her sweet, innocent letters. She would read them secretly, her cheeks blushing, her heart fluttering every time his handwriting reached her hands.
Anya got butterflies whenever she saw him. And slowly, word about their silent love started spreading across the school. People began to notice the exchanged glances, the small smiles in between classes.
With time, Anya also became close to some of Raunak’s friends — building a bridge between two quiet lives.
Raunak stayed in the hostel, which meant he couldn’t call or message her even if he wanted to. Their moments were limited only to school hours, but those hours became the most precious part of their day.
Eventually, Anya began to open up. The silence faded. The conversations grew longer — about classes, hobbies, silly things, and quiet dreams. They would find time after school to walk together, away from the noise, away from the judgment.
But not everyone was supportive.
Some of Anya’s friends began to judge her for liking him.
“He’s dark,” they would whisper, not understanding what she saw in him.
But Anya didn’t care. She knew the kind heart Raunak carried, the way he respected her, the way he looked at her with pure admiration.
They were slowly getting close. They talked, they listened, and without even realizing it — they began to heal parts of each other.
It was the start of something real.
Chapter 3: The First Fight
Anya and Raunak were slowly learning more about each other — their likes, their dislikes, the little things that made them who they were.
It was a sunny day. A hot breeze swept across the quiet street as the two of them walked together. Anya, still shy, was keeping a little distance from Raunak. But suddenly, without a word, Raunak gently reached out and held her hand.
Her heart skipped a beat. So did his.
For a moment, all the noise of the world faded. Anya could feel his heartbeat — fast, nervous, real. And yet, she felt safe with him. That moment felt like something she would remember forever.
Later, Raunak dropped Anya at her home. There were no grand words or promises. Just that gentle silence that spoke everything. She smiled quietly to herself — feeling something pure, something strong blooming between them.
But the next day... everything changed.
As usual, Anya walked into school, carrying the excitement of seeing him again. But this time, Raunak came to her looking different — not physically, but in his eyes, in the way he stood.
Without any warning, he said, “Don’t talk to me anymore.”
Anya froze. Shocked. Confused.
“What? Why?” she asked, her voice trembling.
Raunak didn’t answer. He just turned away... and ran.
And just like that — their first fight, and their first breakup, began.
