Commandment Taehyung
Two armies were fighting on a plain with swords clashing and horses galloping. The battle was going loud and bloody. Warriors were shouting and horses neighing. The scorching sun was making the battle even harder. Suddenly a sharp blade reaches the neck of the traitor making his army loose hope and surrender infront of the Young talent infront of them.

"ON YOUR KNEES"
A dominant voice pierced through their ears making them shiver and went on their knees except the leader.

He was saying disgustingly making tae slaughter his neck without any second thought.
Commandment Taehyung aka Min Taehyung
Son of General Min,Youngest Commandment in the history of army,In his early twenties with a strong built body and sharp mind,Fought many rebellions along his father and alone but never got defeated even once,important in Emperor's eyes becasue of his achievements,loved by everyone even enemies

"No one is allowed to slander the Emperor or anyone from Royal family... UNDERSTAND!!"
He shouted with blazing eyes making them bow in understanding. He smirked and wipe the blood on his sword.

"Take him away and send this good news to Capital....we have stopped a rebellion to take place"
He said walking towards his barracks with his most trusted companions.
As he entered inside his barrack, a beautiful yet mature lady rush towards him with a worried face making him smile nervously.
Min Yoonji
"Did I crack some joke?...then why are you laughing huh?"
She hissed at his non serious behavior making him pout and look towards his friends to help him but they excuse themselves too afraid to face the fierce lady.
Min Yoonji
"Look at me they left"
She said seeing tae staring at their disappearing back with betrayed look on his face.
Commandment Tae
"That's not fair....why they always do so?......you aren't that scary"
He gasped with wide eyes to look cute in her eyes to escape her punishment.
Min Yoonji
"Stop this acting...it ain't gonna work on me"
She said with a serious face and hold his arm to drag him to sit.
Commandment Tae
"Ahhh slow down....it's hurting"
He winced making the lady retreat her hand quickly.
Min Yoonji
"That's why I don't like your idea of leading the army....you are a girl Tae....for God sake have some mercy on yourself"
She said frowning deeply to express her concerns making tae place hand infront of her face.
Commandment Tae
"Yoonji....do your work and leave"
She said stoically making yoonji sigh and sit her to treat her wounds.
Min Yoonji
(She again calls me yoonji....where is noona?....why she becomes so cold at the mention of her gender all the time.....facts can't be changed by her will)
She scoffed in mind and apply medicine on tae's arm after cleaning it.
Yoonji aka Min Yoonji
Elder Daughter of General Min,a famous physician and Tae's personal doctor,Join him everywhere he go,Treats injured soldiers like a elder sister,Loves Tae alot and worried for her future,Everyone is feared of her not because she is General's daughter but becasue of her own achievements.
Tae didn't look at her and stayed pondering on her life decisions.

"It's done....now get some rest...I will send something healthy and nourishing for you"
she said caressing her hairs making tae snapped out of her thoughts and give a slight node. She lay down on the wooden bed and closed her eyes to calm her raging thoughts.

"I won't let you down appa.....it's my promise I will not reveal my identity to anyone"
She said with clenched eyes and drifted to sleep because of medicine her sister fed her.
(NOTE:- In this ff,Tae is disguised as man so don't get confused. I will be using she/her when she is alone with her closed ones who knows about her real identiy while he/him while anyone is present around even if a single maid/servant)
The court was set with the Emperor on his thorn and the courtiers in blue and red gowns in their queues.

"Greetings Your Majesty.....Long Live Your Majesty"
They bowed in respect making the emperor node and order them to proceed. A man in blue came forward and take his permission to speak.

"Your Majesty....it's going to be Prince's 18th birthday soon.....we all courtiers request you to make him the Crown Prince of JEON Empire....for it's peace and prosperity"
He said in honey tone voice making the man in red join him. Seeing them one by one all of the couriers requested for their crown prince making the Emperor close his eyes in helplessness.

"REPORT!!....REPORT"
A guard came in running and shouting with joy making everyone give him way to inform the Emperor.

"Greetings Your Majesty.....Long Live Emperor"
He bowed at nighty degree and pass the report to chancellor standing beside emperor. He ask permission and started reading it aloud.

"Greetings Your Majesty....I, commandant Min Taehyung....son of Western Army General,a Min Yoongi has accomplished the goal you order for.....the rebellion has suppressed you can rest assured....thank for your entrusting me with this task....i am honored to work for a great Emperor like you"
He stopped with a bow and back away.
General Min aka Min Yoongi
Commander of army from years now,Most trusted person of Emperor,No one can win any war against him which is why everyone fears to fight their kingdom openly,Loves his wife and children to death but duty comes first

"It's a relief..... Commandant Taehyung will be rewarded generously so as General Min.....he did so much for our country and now his son is serving"
He said with a proud smile making General Min bow and thank him for his praises.

"You are very generous and kind Your Majesty"
He said politely making the Emperor smile.

Emperor stand up to leave the court room making everyone gossip because they didn't receive a positive response on their request.

"Your Majesty....if you are free then can we have a word"
A courtier said with head hung low making the Emperor clench his jaws.

"I am not feeling well Counselor Kim....so will have some rest.....next time"
He said looking infront with stoic face making Kim bow and leave from there.

He said calmly making the Park scoff and look towards yoongi who didn't pay attention to it.

"I don't care who becomes the crown prince.....as long as his Majesty can handle the matters alone"
He said coldly and left without glancing at them making Park angry but he controlled it infront of Namjoon.

He said standing infront of his consort aka Empress's chamber making them bow and stay there.

Said the guard to inform the Empress making the maids open the door for him.

"Leave us alone"
He ordered normally making the maids bow and leave after closing the door.

"You never come in broad daylight....did something happened your Majesty?"
Said the Empress with a mischievous smile making the Emperor sigh and went to sit on bed beside her.

"Don't call me this when we are alone....I don't like it"
He said frustratingly making the Empress smile cheekily.

"Calm down ani.....why you being so moody?"
She asked holding his hands but he refused it making her surprised.

He said looking back at her to see her reaction.
She asked blankly making him sigh and hold her hands.

"You know whom.....our son can't take this responsibility.....his health don't allow him and I also don't want any threat to his life.......I did what you asked me 20 years ago......now listen to me ok"
He said desperately making the Empress retreat her hands.
Empress Ying
"You did everything to bring peace and prosperity to this country and their people......now you want to turn it into chaose by handing over the thorne huh.....Ani don't be selfish.... everyone believes you that you won't put their lives at stake....plz think about the reason we did so much to get here..... don't forget how much we paid to stabilize this country"
She said seriously making the Emperor close his eyes in grief.

"I didn't forget anything aying but--"
He was saying when she placed finger on his lips and looked into his eyes fiercely.
Empress Ying
"Then don't think to give this empire in wrong hands.....I won't allow you to put all our efforts in vein"
She said daringly making the emperor node and stand up.

He said holding her hand and went out of chamber. Their servants and guards follow them to the Prince's palace silently.
A young handsome man was sitting in couch with a dozen of servants around him. He was enjoying the beauty of nature along the pool side area doing fishing and ravishing the seasonal fruits. A bunny smile was invading his face making him look more admirable that every maid was drooling over his fine skin.
Maid
"Our Prince is one in a million.....so handsome,so beautiful....his skin is more soft than any princess....I wish he can let us touch him"
Said a girl to her fellow making her sigh disappointedly.

"He never let's anyone touch his clothes except his personal guard then skin is far away.....he is so cruel"
She mumbled making the prince chuckle and glanced at his personal guard.

"Hoba....I am getting bored....do something"
He yawned leisurely making hobi sigh and stand up to give him a sword show as he loves it.

Prince perosnal guard,bear prince's tantrums,treats prince like a younger brother,protects him from every danger,stays in his palace and stay with him 24/7,Can go to any extent to save him from danger,Devoted his life in taking care of him
He turn to start his performance when Emperor and Empress came there making him bow. Prince's smile widely and stand up quickly to meet his parents after whole two days

Appa!!Eomma.....you are finally here.....I miss you guys so much"
He said hugging his father making him glance at his wife.
Empress Ying
"We miss you too"
She said grabbing his arm to break their hug making guk smile and hug her.

"Then why didn't come to meet before.....I was waiting for you both"
He said pouting heavily making Empress smile apologetically.
Guk aka Jeon Jungguk
Prince of Jeon Empire,a soft hearted person with great skills,a scholar at young age,has a rare disease due to which can't get hurt,don't know anything about fight,can't even use sword,loved by his parents a lot,a baby for everyone,hardly goes out of palace or see anyone besides few people,caged since birth in golden cage
Guk was busy complaining to his mother when his father placed sword on his shoulder making everyone gasp.

He said with deep voice making guk gulp with wide eyes and look towards Empress.

He said bringing his wife to his side making guk nervous. He looked towards hobi for help but he can only pass him sword nothing else.

"Appa you are joking right!...you know I never hold sword---"
He didn't complete when the Emperor cut the string of his pendant making it fall on floor effortlessly.

He declared and remove his cap making guk sweat. He took the sword hesitantly and hold it infront of his body making everyone sigh.

"Are you ready?"
He asked clashing his sword with guk's making him breath heavily. Emperor started attacking him without any mercy making guk defend himself and dodge it as much possible. Empress clench her hands seeing their son's condition getting worse with every passing second.
Prince Guk
"Appa plz...I am sorry...if i offend you then give me some other punishment....not this...it's scary"
He said crying silently making Emperor feel bad for him and throw his sword away. Guk fall on his knees feeling no energy left in his body making hobi run to him.
Jung Hoseok
"Are you ok?....your highness"
He asked worriedly feeling his body shivering and sweating badly.

"Call Royal Doctor for prince"
He said getting a hold of guk making hobi back away.

"It's fine....appa is here relax"
He said softly making guk hug him and clenched his clothes scaredly.

"You didn't get hurt anywhere right.....can you stand up.... should I carry you?"
He asked rubbing his back soothingly making guk hug his neck tightly.
He mumbled with an angry pout making Emperor chuckle and carry him to his chamber.

"He didn't even try once"
She said to herself getting worried for their future.

"Royal Doctor is here Empress"
He said breaking her trance making her node and went to Prince's Chamber.

Doctor bowed and greeted them before starting his examination.

He asked looking at his son for any discomfort.

He said seeing guk sleeping after taking his medicine as doctor left with hobi.

She said with an angry glare making Emperor sigh and node his head.

"I did.... because I want him to live a normal life.... enjoy his parent's love....get everything he wants in life which no one knows when ends"
His voice cracked at the end making the Empress guilty. He walked to bed and sit beside guk with heavy heart.

"Appa sorry for hurting you"
He said caressing his face making Empress place hand on his shoulder and squeeze it a bit.
Empress Ying
"Don't blame yourself for anything....it's not your fault that he was born with this disease"
She said holding her tears back from so many years.

"You are wrong....I am responsible for everything.....I can't provide my family a normal life"
He said wiping the lone tear before anyone sees it and cover guk with blanket.

She said emotionlessly making Emperor snapped towards her angrily.

She said staring at guk's face making Emperor bewilder. He wanted to deny but something stopped him.

"Take care of him.....call me when he is awake"
He said standing up and wearing his cap making Empress confuse. She say something before that he left the chamber making her sit beside guk.
Empress Ying
"Am I pushing him too much?.... don't think negative....infact it will be best if he comes back.....he will be your shield then you can run this Empire nicely"
She said wiping his sweat knowing how exceptional he is in other things except for fighting.
He return to his palace to think about his future plans when namjoon came in his view.
Counsler Kim
"Sorry for bothering Your Majesty but it's very urgent"
He said in bowing position making Emperor node and take him inside his chamber.

"These are the names of nobbles and courtiers who wants crown prince's ceremony soon.....as your Majesty have only one son so they already made their mind to support him in future....plz grant their wish Your Majesty"
He went on his knees putting Emperor in difficult position.

(I can't delay this thing more.....if they know about Prince's illness....what will I do then?....how I will protect my family from rebellion....aying is right this is the only way to make things right)

He pleaded sincerely making Emperor sigh and order him to stand up.

He said bringing a wide grin on namjoon's face. He pay him gratitude and left to calm their supporter's anger.

He sighed remembering about the night he took the hardest decision of his life.
A man was pacing back and forth outside his chamber making his companion sigh.

He groaned angrily making xiyun done with him and the whimpers die down. Lini didn't wait for a second and rush inside chamber making xiyun chuckle. He stayed there to share his best friend's happiness and congratulate him for becoming a father.

He said seeing his wife coming out with a fake smile making him understand. He hold her hand and pull her into a tight hug.

He took the baby in his arms and whisper soothing words to calm him.

He said holding her from shoulders making her frown.
She said holding the baby making Lini rub her back and sit beside her.

He asked tugging her hairs behind her ears praying in mind that she don't ask about the other one.

She asked staring at the baby making Lini gulp and drink water from side table.

He said wiping the sweat formed on his forehead.

"I said na don't think about anything and rest hmmm"
He said taking the baby from her arms and helping her lay down.

"We were expecting twins right?.....where is other baby?"
She asked with paled face making Lini close his eyes and tell her everything.

"How can you do this?.....who give you permission huh?"
She asked pulling his collar making Lini rub her arms to calm her.

"That's why you didn't want anyone around right......why you did this?....give me the answer"
She said agitatedly making Lini hold her hands and try to hug her but she pushed him with all her strength.
Empress Ying
"I want my baby back.....bring him here....I don't care"
She said standing up from bed and dragging Lini out of chamber. No one was around as per his orders otherwise he will be laughing stock next morning and she will get punished for her doings.
Emperor Lini
"Calm down.....let's talk inside....it's cold here come"
He said still worrying for her making her more angry.
Empress Ying
"I beg you plz"
She pleaded with joined hands making Lini hurt seeing her state.
Emperor Lini
"I also begged you.....but you didn't give a damn.....how can you expect from me then"
He said staring at her darkly making her eyes teary.

"You can't take revenge like this.....it has no connection with our baby"
She said holding his arm making Lini chuckle bitterly.

"You know me....I am vengeful since start....stop wasting your tears and be happy with what you have"
He said smirking at her making her slap him right across his face.
She said crying at her misery and went inside closing the door at his face.

"If he stays happy then a mere slap is worth it"
He said sniffing his tears and stayed outside whole night in cold in hope that she will open the door but it didn't happen.
