I have always been a lazy ass, I get bored when I have to wake up to continue the same old routine over and over again

I quickly went to the bathroom took my bath and pick a sundress that match my emotions for today,I quickly glances on my phone is 10:00 AM,am late for work I didn't have time to apply makeup I worked downstairs to meet my dad on the sofa watching some soap opera I couldn't careless

" good morning dad,am heading for work

Mr Morris's look at is to daughter and smile

" it seems your ready for work what about breakfast".

I just wave my head saying no, I walked to the door.....

Arriving at" DE Pot kitchen".my boss called for my attention

"Miss Morris to my office, I want to have a word with you"

Wondering what I have done to be called to her office.

Getting to the door, knocked softly I was asked work in,

My boss is a lady in her mid 30s looking young has 28 I cleared my voice and quickly ask y she called for me

" You sent for me ma, any problem".

"Have a sit miss Morris I have something I want to discuss with you, do you mind working far from home.

"ma,I felt stunned I couldn't speak a word

"You don't need to be scared, I have a job offer for you".she said looking directly looking.at a little envelope with blue ribbon.

She gives me the envelope, I quickly to a look at the content I was shocked the job is at another country

"Ma, the distance is quite far ".

"Tracy,you be paid handsomely and most importantly the flight will be covered for and probably accommodation too".

I took a deep breath I always love to travel, but I didn't expect it could be so soon, I wanted more time to think about this,

"Can I have some time to think about this ma I will give you my feedback".

"I will give you tomorrow for your response, until then, you can leave".

"Okay ma, i got to the bar stand, serve some customers, my mind as already wander away, I suddenly left my trance when I felt some touch on my shoulder I shuttled.

"You scared me Lydia I kept on calling your name, you seem off what is it".

"Am fine, am just tired nothing at all".

"Okay, then you need to serve table no 15,a cream whipped pie and smoky sauce".

" I will right away, thanks".

After the long day, it came to an end I board a taxi to my second work place, I make I had more side hustle just to help my mom recover.

I got into the club and got the room meant for waitress to change I quickly change to a black and a cream coloured blouse and a skirt

After the day works, I got home freshen up, went downstairs for lunch were I meet my mom in the kitchens.

"How are you doing honey. "Am good mom, how do you feel today".

"Am always less for each day dear". I made your favourite dear, chicken casserole and potato pudding... just wait at the table I will bring your food.

After we set the table we sat quietly and eat the meal, I had to break the silence

"mom I will be living to another country very soon,"

"for what dear, I thought we just move in here".

" I got a job offer there I have to go, the pay is great mom, we need this to pay for your treatment and medication.

Mrs lora face palm herself,feeling sad..

I could sense the worry look on her face,held her hand tightly,

"is just for the meantime if it doesn't favour me I will be back promise mom".

"my poor girl your doing too much despite your age,"I wish I could take care of you,and you could live your life not thinking about my own...

"mum,your my responsibilities and I will love to take care of you, despite the circumstances,"

After the night I spent with my mum I decided to take the job I don't even know where it's located, I was too engrossed that I didn't care to ask where I was going,

i was off to work to give my boss my feedback,on getting their I meet her at the doorway,

"Good day ma, are you in hurry".

"Yes I am, i want to visit a friend, do you have anything to say to me".

"Yes ma, I hope the offer you gave me Yesterday is still available, am interested".

"Of course, I will get back to you when am back, but importantly get prepaid for the trip in two days".

Okay ma, thank you ma, am excited about this".

"You weren't yesterday, what the change of mind".

"Chuckle, i was stupid, I just realized is a huge opportunity to travel out,"

"Alright dear, .see you soon".

I got back to work hurriedly got to arrange my stuff the trip could be long, I finally found out I am going to South Korea, I, Imagine the beautiful city, the weather and the dreaming boys, don't be distracted Mara, you have a goal there, surviving is the key no games for foreplay..

am excited and nervous at the same time, I just arrived at the airport, I was stunned, I quickly composed myself, I couldn't want to look like a fool,I have never traveled by air or even been to an airport here i am going to South Korea, is like a dream come true,onboard I was.served pie and tea,as dessert,we flew for about,6hrs has soon we alighted the plane, I saw some group of people holding a billboard with my on it I knew they were meant to pick me up from the airport

I felt welcome and alittle sense of belonging, everyone wore a smile on their face

I was taken to an hotel by redhead Japanese,she looks cute with duo eyes,we quickly put my luggages in the room

"how long are you planning to stay". she said

" I don't know I shrugged,just got here".

"my aunt told me your coming over so I kept this for I don't know if you love it,is kind of cold here sometime".

"sure thanks,I won't,took the knitted sweater,it was made with fine piece of threads".

"You resume tomorrow right"

it seems she knows a lot about me,"you worked there too".

"Noo, I work in design company, Stardom,chuckle, you care for dinner,

 I only nodded, felt like she's just accommodating me because she has no option, I strengthen up arrange my stuff and took a bath and am down for dinner

she try to bring up conversation and I wasn't in the mode for chit chat I excuse myself,in my room,I called my mum she picked by the first ring,we kept on talking that I forgot about time,

let out sigh and smuggle myself in a duvet its quite cold here...

Next day, I got ready for work, my hair tired in messy buns, a blue midi gown, a little makeup to the look, the mirror, I was off to work, the taxi drop me at a gigantic building it seems so high it could touch the sky,

getting the door two well built guys ask for my ID card, I remember madam Claire told me about,deep my hand to the bag and brought out the ID card.

"You can go in ma".the other guy glance and wave in,

I nodded, and started working towards the reception, but I was approached by a blonde, who looks quite older than me with a smile on herself," your miss Mara Morris right"

I nodded in confirmation,

"please follow me",

I was taking to an office made of glass, I didn't expect much from a flamboyant building

She knocked, we were asked to walk in,

an old man in his middle age smiling so grimly

"Welcome miss Morris, pls have a seat you can excuse us, he nods towards the blown, and she bow and walked out,

"Is really amazing to have you here, my daughter told me about your arrival".

I was confused which daughter,

"am the manager of the company, Mr Song, My daughter is Clara

I just nodded, but they don't alike a bit,

welcome to the company, I heard you study design, so I will let you work in the design department,

"Thank you", with so much excitement, I left his of, and I was taken to my own space in the department,

I was welcomed by everyone in the department,I was given my first day work,what a dream come true finally using my talent and my certificate...
