I'm Emily. Right now, a beautiful boy has proposed to me on his knees. The boy's name is Joan. How can I reject such a handsome boy proposing in front of the whole campus? I'm already weak towards beauty. On top of that, Joan is the heartthrob of my university. Everyone on the whole campus is looking at her in surprise. No one can believe that the heartthrob of the university can propose to a nobody like me in front of everyone.

I'm not very good looking. Average looking with black hair, brown eyes. Average body figure. Financially average too. No one understands how a 6ft tall, black hair, blue eyed rich boy can propose to such a nobody. Our journey begins from this proposal.

Everyone on campus is very jealous and admires us. We were the golden couple of the campus.

I was sure from the beginning that Joan might not really love me. For what purpose did he propose to me? But I do like some part of myself. I've lot's of boyfriends and they all have one think similar. They are all so handsome.

So when joan proposed me it didn't surprise me. On the other hand I said yes. I didn't love him but couldn't say no to his handsome face. Once I asked him will he ever cheat on me if his ex comes back or he ever found another love of his life. He stared at me for a very long time then he coldly said " I RATHER DIE THEN CHEAT ON YOU." Then in low voice he said while looking at the blue sky , " I'm not a heartless monster to abandon my love of life."

Emily never talked about that topic again. Emily is not from this country. She came to this country z from country y to study. Until Joan proposed, Emily was like a background. No one knew her. But since Joan came into her life, her life has changed radically. Maybe Emily really loves Joan or maybe she doesn't. But she knows that she can't accept infidelity in any way.

Today is Joan's birthday. Joan's friends have thrown a small party at a night club. Every friends of Joan came to the party. Ethan is Joan's best friend. He knows everything about Joan. He also knows what Joan wants the most. He prepared the best gift for his buddy. When Joan came to the party with Emily everyone greeted them. They brought Joan's favourite cake. Joan made a wish and then cut the cake elegantly. After the cake cutting, everyone is sitting and chatting with whiskey in their hands. Emily is also sitting next to Joan. Nobody talking with her because Joan's friends don't like Emily. They think Emily is out of the Joan's league and she doesn't deserve him. They are only tolerating Emily for Joan's sake. Suddenly, Joan's best friend Ethan said, "Do you know that Emma has returned to the country today? I invited her here.". Joan's face hardened after hearing Ethan's words. He looked at Ethan for a while and then stood up. Just as Joan was about to leave the room without saying anything, a beautiful woman entered the room. blond hair, golden eyes, fair-skinned, slim woman. The woman is wearing a knee-length blue dress, with matching blue heels. The dress hugs her body perfectly, with her long hair down to her waist and light nude lipstick, she looks like a nymph. Emma and Joan are shocked to see each other and turn to stone. Both of them stare at each other blankly. It's as if their world has stopped. They have no idea what's going on around them. Joan and Emma are both looking at each other with loving eyes. Ethan smiles and says "they are perfect for each other." "Indeed. She's very beautiful." Suddenly surprised, Ethan looks to the side and sees Emily eating cake while looking at Emma and Joan with a smirk on her face. Ethan moves a little closer and says to Emily, "Do you know who Emma is?" Emily says without looking at Ethan, "Joan's ex-girlfriend."

Suddenly, Joan and Emma's senses returns. Joan's face hardens. Then he came back to Emily and took Emily's hand and brought her to Emma and introduced her, "Emma meet my girlfriend. Her name is Emily." Emma stood with a stiff face and glared at Emily. Emily smiled and extended her hand, "Hi Emma, it's nice to meet you." but for some reason Emily's smile didn't reach her eyes. Her eyes are cold like a predator checking up its prey.
