''Daniel pov''

I glanced at my house for the last time ,ever since mom said we were moving I had this uncertainty inside me that everything is going to change and I was ready to embrace it.

"Daniel!!",I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard my mom call my name from her car and I knew I had to go.

"Coming mom",I said as I carried my bag and headed towards the car.

The car door shut and we were ready to go. "ok Danny and know it's hard to process but -"

"It's okay mom I understand". I looked at her given my best smile with a two thumbs up. She also laughed at my gesture."You know, you behave just like him",she said as I noticed her smile drop.

"okay okay let's go before I protest to leave"I said arms crossed which made her smile again.

"ok lets go",she smiled as she started the car.

At the new house.

"It's not that bad right??"my mom asked with questioning look.

"It's okay I guess"I said as I took out our luggages. With my mom's help we carried it inside the house,the place seemed dusty for a new house and I'm sure it's going to take time to get everything arranged.

I sighed at the thought of all the work to be done as I dropped the luggage on the floor the hallway. "Ok honey so I think your room is up the stairs on right over there "my said figuring out which room was mine. "Great", I said as I picked up my bags and head upstairs.

I sighed in exhaust as I entered my room the place filled with empty box and rejected papers.' I wonder if this was a last minute offer mom got cause this place is a mess',I thought walking towards my bed and flopped on it.

Tired from the journey I decided to take a nap.

**Darkness was all around me no places to run or escaped , I was trapped. Trapped in pain and sadness. "Daniel",I heard it a low and hoarse voice calling out for reach , I wanted to rush towards but I couldn't cause the darkness just kept growing and growing and growing and-***

(Gasp)I breathed heavily with trembling hands and a sweat all over me."It was just another nightmare . It's not real "I sighed reassuring myself as I got out bed and headed towards the bathroom taking a quick shower before heading downstairs.

When I entered the kitchen I saw takeouts and a box of pizza on the counter and my mom busy arranging the utensils. When she saw she got startled."Oh Daniel I thought you were asleep I was to call to eat"she said approaching me.

"Takeouts?"I asked since my mom was not the type for outside food."Well since we just settled the was no time for a proper family dinner,I hope it's ok"

"Yeah, I'm totally ok we it" I replied taking a slice of pizza to my mouth.

"Mhmm delicious",I moaned in delight as I took a bite. "Try some mom"offering a slice of pizza to her.

"Very nice, at least they have great pizza"she laughed as I also join in the laughter.

Beep beep beep-

"Arghh what time is it??", I mumbled to myself stirring on the bed. When I got up to check the time it was seven o'clock.'So I got an hour left to leave for my first day of college '(sigh).

After awhile of getting ready I head downstairs to the kitchen where I saw my mom.

"Good morning mom"I greeted noticing the takeout breakfast on the counter. "Good morning sunshine" she replied squeezing my cheeks."Mooom, I'm not a kid anymore am 17 now ahh"I whined stuffing my face with the takeout food.

" Ok ok , I'm just so excited for you as you know today is gonna be your first day at a new college with new people and I hope you make new friends. Perhaps even a girlfriend maybe" ,she said with a teasing smile.

"Uhh mom am so done right now ,bye",I said grabbing my bag and kissing my mom on the cheek before leaving. " Hey Daniel wai-", before she could continue he was already gone."huh? what did I say ? hmph"she thought as she cleaned the place.

At xxxx college

"Danny pov"

He parked his bicycle at the parking lot and walked towards the entrance of the school. 'Wow the inside is more better than what I thought wow. Ok Daniel you can do this, just a normal day at college.',As I made my way through the halls I finally found my first class of the day, English.'Just great for me', I sighed mentally because English is totally my worst subject .When I entered the class luckily for me the teacher had not yet thinking that I would late,but the was also this awkward silence when I walked through the class .

I was feeling kinda nervous but I tried my possible best not to show it. I found an empty seat at next to the window seeing no-one was seating there I sat down ,took my bag and brought out the English text book to go through for the meantime.

When I was about to open it a hand slammed against it preventing me from flipping. At first I thought 'trouble' but when I looked up I saw a guy probably not a nerd smiling at me and then I got confused.

"Hey I'm Jasper",he said with his other hand stretched for a shake.

"Uhmm what?"I asked trying to grasp what was going on.

"I'm introducing myself,since we're going to be desk mates just being polite",he said still smiling.

"Oh ok my name is Daniel", I said accepting the hand shake.

"I'm sure we're going to be good friends Daniel",he said before removing the handshake.

Then a woman who looked in her sixties came in and everybody stopped chatting and faced her. "Good morning class , take out your books today we'll be learning xxxx ".she said before everyone started taking out their books,well mine was already out so I didn't bother.

Along the lesson Jasper kept making sketches of the English teacher which was very funny.

"Psst ,Danny look" he showed me another one and I couldn't help but giggle, it was so funny.

Soon time passed and her period was over. "Finally",I sighed as are rested my head on the desk ,later I felt someone tapping me . I looked up and saw Jasper.
