This story is a slow-burning, emotionally intense exploration of love, obsession, and identity set in a world where reality blurs with fiction. What begins as a tangled web of past mistakes and present desires slowly unravels into a deep psychological and romantic battle between heart and survival. Yn's journey is not just about choosing between Taehyung, Jungkook, and Jimin—but about choosing herself in a world that constantly writes her story for her.
This is not a fairytale. It’s messy, sensual and painful

Let's dive into the story...
1. Final Chapter
Author
Before starting, whoever read these a few days ago.. I changed the characters.. Go check them in episode 1 then start this episode..
Outside the narrow window of her studio apartment in Daegu, rain continues to fall..
Y/N sat curled on her couch in oversized sweats with a cold cup of instant coffee balanced on the edge of the side table.
She started at the blank screen on her laptop..
Y/N
I didn't write a single word in the last one year
Once hailed as the next big thing in romance fiction, Y/N now couldn’t summon a single sentence worth saving
Every draft felt fake. Every plot empty. Her therapist called it creative burnout. Her publisher called it career suicide. Her mother—well, she had stopped calling altogether.
It was the kind of depression that didn’t scream—it whispered. Quietly. Constantly.
The world felt like an echo chamber of other people’s success, and her own voice had vanished somewhere in the noise.
A plastic-wrapped book lay unopened beneath a few scattered notebooks.
A legend in modern literature. No photo. No identity. Just brilliant, hauntingly real writing. The kind of writer who made you believe in love again—even if it broke you.
Y/N had been obsessed. He was the reason she ever picked up a pen.
He announced his final novel last month, something cracked in her. She waited, bought the limited edition release on launch day... and left it sitting there.
Today, she finally gave in. She peeled off the plastic and opened it to the first page.
An office romance with a twist: Minji, a bright marketing executive, torn between the CEO Jungkook and charming company partner Jimin..
But the deeper Y/N read, the more frustrated she grew.
Y/N
I hate Jimin's character.. Why does the author-nim make him so manipulative!!
Y/N
Most importantly why is the villainess name the same as mine?!
And worst of all—Jungkook, the only character who felt real—was cast aside by the end.
It felt like betrayal. Y/N slammed the book shut.
Y/N
I thought it would be an escape for me or maybe a hope..
She stood abruptly, pacing to the kitchen. Her apartment buzzed with silence. Just the soft hum of the refrigerator and the ache in her chest.
Her gaze drifted to the drawer near the sink. She opened it slowly. A small utility knife lay on there. Her hands shook.
She returned to the living room, with a knife in hand. The book still sat on the side table.
Y/N
I just wanted to feel something again
She whispered, pressing the blade to her wrist.
A sharp sting. Then warmth. Then red. She placed her wrist in the book. Her blood smeared across the book’s cover like ink on paper.
Her vision blurred. The world is dimmed.
*****************************
Flashing lights. City sounds. Y/N gasped, jolting upright. She wasn’t in her apartment anymore.
She sat in the backseat of a car, her hands clutching a designer handbag. Her clothes had changed—tight black jeans, a silk blouse, leather boots. A smartwatch buzzed on her wrist.
The car pulled into a valet at a sleek glass building lit up with signs: Heaven Corp Headquarters.
A young man opens the door
Unknown
Ms. Y/N, you’re late. Mr. Jungkook is already in the boardroom.
The assistant continues in the puzzle..
Unknown
You have a lunch meeting today to discuss the PR crisis after you accused Minji of sleeping her way into the company.
Yn stumbled out of the car..
She looked around. Sleek glass, city lights, polished shoes. But none of it made sense.
This is the novel which she stopped reading..
Yn
I'm in the novel right now?
Most importantly she isn't a heroine but a villainess..

2. Rewriting
Yn stood in front of the glass elevator, her heart hammering against her ribs. The reflections on the mirror walls confirmed what she feared. She wasn’t dreaming.
This was real. Somehow, impossibly, she had entered J.K. Moon’s final novel—the very story she despised.
And she wasn’t the protagonist. She was the jealous ex. The character everyone would come to hate by chapter 20.
She closed her eyes, taking a deep breath.
Yn
Okay. Think, Yn. Think. You know how this ends. Jungkook gets hurt. Jimin gets the girl. And Minji forgives everyone except you
The elevator doors opened to the 25th floor—Heaven Corp's executive floor. She stepped into a corridor filled with tension and the smell of over brewed coffee.
At the far end stood Jeon Jungkook
He looked exactly as the author had described him—denim shirt, sleeves rolled to the elbows, and a face too beautiful for this world. Dough eyes, jawline like sin, and an expression too gentle to be a CEO
JK
Yn I didn’t think you’d come.
His voice was low, cautious.
Yn swallowed. She remembered this scene. This was where the villainess threatened Minji’s promotion—and Jungkook begged her to stop.
Yn
We need to talk. About Minji. About everything.
JK
You’re... calmer than I expected.
She said simply, walking past him into the meeting room.
For the next hour, she steered the conversation in a new direction—protecting Minji’s reputation, removing herself from the decision, and suggesting a mentorship plan for Minji instead of punishment.
Jungkook stared at her the entire time, like she was some unfamiliar painting he couldn’t stop studying.
JK
I didn’t think you had this in you
He said finally after the meeting
That night, Yn lay in a bed too big, in a penthouse too quiet. The city lights blinked outside, but her gaze was fixed on the ceiling. The room was luxurious—polished marble, imported linens, curated art pieces—but none of it felt real.
Because it wasn’t. None of this was hers. None of this was meant to be.
She turned on her side, staring at the dimly glowing clock: 1:34 a.m
She sat up, rubbed her face, and slowly walked over to the full-length mirror.
The woman who stared back wasn’t her..Confident. Sharp. Beautiful. But cold.
This wasn’t the real Yn. This was the villainess she’d read about. The woman the original readers loved to hate. The woman is destined to fall—publicly, painfully.
She opened the sleek silver laptop on the desk and started reading every file she could about Minji, about Jungkook, about Heaven Corp’s structure, scandals, and press. If she had to survive in this world, she needed to be smarter.
For once, she wouldn’t play by the script. She would rewrite the story. Not for redemption. Not even for love. But for control.
Still, as she scrolled through old press photos of Jungkook with Minji, something twisted inside her. The way he looked at Minji in those images—soft, sincere, protective—it reminded her of something she'd never had. Not even in her real life.
Yn
was it admiration or longing
She slammed the laptop shut.
Perhaps it's jealousy she thinks..
Yn
I’m not here for that. I’m not going to fall in love with anyone..
But as she stood and looked out the window, the emptiness in her chest said otherwise.
Somewhere between her death and this new life, she’d lost herself. Now she had a second chance. And she wasn’t sure if that was a gift or a curse.
Yn
I'll change it.. Minji is going to choose Jungkook.. I'll rewrite this story as it is supposed to be
Outside, the night deepened. And far across the city, the story she thought she knew was already beginning to change.
