Karasuno VS Kamomedai.

2 - 1 Kamomedai Wins.

"We did our best for this round. We made it until here. All your efforts are worth it." Takeda-sensei said while looking at everyone.

All of them are bowing their heads, shutting down their eyes, on verge of crying.

"Don't ever think this will all be end. You did great." Coach Ukai said. Hoping to boost the teams spirit though it will be hard to gain.

They did all their best to the game but still lose. You cannot win every game, cause everyone needs improvement.

"Let's grab some food. My treat. Take this as your token of fighting 'till the end." Coach ukai.

"Where is hinata?" Kageyama said while looking around but couldn't find hinata.

"He is still in the clinic room. Don't try to talk to him. I know most of you are hurt because of losing in this game, and he feel more depressed than all of you, of course you all know that." Takeda-sensei.

"I'll just check him out..." kageyama said and runs off to see hinata in the clinic.

While coming near to the room, he can already hear the sobs and whimpers hinata is creating. 'He was hurt' kageyama thought.

He knows that Hinata is taking it to the heart cause he didn't play the last set because he has a fever and was force to get out of the game.

And all, probably Hinata is blaming himself because they lost the game.

"I-its all my fault. This wont happen if ever I am okay and well. All the efforts... all the sacrifices the team have made we're all invain because of me." Hinata says as he cries silently.

But little did he know, Kageyama was outside, listening to every words he said, on how he blame himself for everything.

"Idiot..." Kageyama said as he clenched on the shirt he was holding. A shirt that he plans to give to Hinata if ever they won the game.

"It isn't your fault, dumbass." He said and slam his hand lightly in the wall as he force himself not to cry.

---2 years later---

*Karasuno's Graduation*

All the first years come to graduate. Time to say goodbye to the new team of karasuno and move forward.

*Karasuno's gym*

As Kageyama served, Hinata immediately receives it. They just play until their energy runs out.

"That was... the last... I guess." Kageyama said. As he looks at hinata who is currently packing his things.

"Yeah. Can't even think that we will leave this place." Hinata said while roaming his eyes around the gym, on verge of crying.

"Hinata, I just wanna say I love..." kageyama hesitated on saying something.

"Volleyball? I know. Cause I love playing volleyball too." Hinata interrupted as he smiles on Kageyama and lifted his fist up.

"The next time we will meet each other will be on a center court. And I will beat you." Hinata said while looking directly to Kageyama.

"The stronger ones will be the winner." Kageyama said as he fist bump Hinata.

"See you later, Kageyama."

"Yeah. See you."

Hinata decided to take a trip overseas for training. Improving himself for the next battle we will have against Kageyama. And he got Oikawa with him through the years he spend in playing beach volleyball in Brazil.

*backstage*

'This is it. I've been waited for this moment to tell Hinata how I feel.' Kageyama thought while happily running towards the where Hinata is.

Kageyama saw Hinata in the bench of hallway, he hurriedly tried to approach him but someone already called Hinata's name...

It's Miya Atsumu...

"Shoyo-kun!" Miya Atsumu shouted which diverted Hinata's attention to him.

Kageyama just look at how Atsumu is talking to Hinata. He just feel rage and confused.

'They became this close to each other?' He thought as he look at Atsumu, and to surprise him, Atsumu is also looking at his direction, smirking.

"The team is waiting for you in the bus, we have a celebration to make. So go now. I'll just talk to someone I know." Atsumu said still looking at him.

"Okay. Don't be late, Atsumu-san." Hinata said as he runs off towards the exit and didn't notice Kageyama is there. Looking directly to him with his eyes that speaks that he wants to say something else.

"Tobio-kun." Atsumu greeted as he raised his hand like saying 'Hi'

"Ossu!" Kageyama greeted back but still looking at the direction where Hinata went.

"Don't try to butt in, Tobio-kun. He's mine now." Atsumu said while smirking.

Those words echoed in Kageyama's ears. After all these years he waited for Hinata to return, just flew away. 'Hinata... is seeing someone?' He thought.

"What do you mean?" Kageyama said while forcing himself not to cry.

"We are together now. The day we went on brazil, I met him at the beach volley tournament and hang out, then fell. I am already claiming it. Cause he is mine now. And I know your reason why you want to see him. I wont let you, tobio-kun." Atsumu said while glaring at him.

Having his thoughts being disarray, atsumu already left him.

All the years he spends waiting for Hinata just got invain. He can't say out loud what he wants to say and he can feel his heart beating too fast because of the revelation he had heard.

'No. I need to comfirm it from Hinata himself.' He thought and get his phone trying to contact Hinata.

'Glad he didn't change email.' He said.

*Message Send*

"Hinata, Meet me at the park tomorrow. 6pm. I want to tell you something."

Hinata receives the message Kageyama have sent, and confused. 'What does he want to say?' He said at the back of his mind and replied "Okay" in the email.

Kageyama holds his phone tightly like he was praying. 'Please. I hope it is not like Atsumu-san said.'

A cold wind embrace Hinata as he is waiting in the park, looking at his phone to see the time. It is near 6pm. He got in earlier.

After just a minute, he saw Kageyama coming to his way. With a serious face.

"Hey, Kageyama. We didn't have enough time to talk after the match because Atsumu-san called me." Hinata started as he stands up to greet Kageyama.

"Ah. Welcome back." Kageyama said and scratch his cheek like he was anticipated to say something.

"Is there something wrong?" Hinata ask as he titled his head.

"Are you dating Atsumu-san?" He said in a serious tone. Trying to calm down himself cause his heart is beating too fast and anxious on Hinata's answer.

Hinata was shock to hear those words. 'He knows about that. Did Atsumu-san tell him that?' He thought.

"Yes... we are dating." Hinata mumble but it is enough for Kageyama to hear those words.

Kageyama clenched his fist as he look up, forcing himself not to cry.

"I've waited... I've waited for you. I didn't have the courage to tell you when we are still high school. But still I've waited for you to comeback. Hoping we could be together." Kageyama said as he sobs. Letting his tears fall down. He can't hide his feelings and thoughts anymore.

Just how many yeard did he spend for this to arrived but still got none?

"Kageyama..." Hinata called as he tried to reach Kageyama's hand but stop himself, thinking that it would only hurt him more.

"I'm sorry. I love Atsumu-san. I'm sorry for wasting your time waiting for me, and never return your feelings. I'm really sorry." Hinata said as he bowed his head, scared to face Kageyama in his state.

"I love you... but I will let you go if that will makes you happy." Kageyama said and walks away.

Hinata just fell into the floor because he can't imagine what he have done to make Kageyama suffered that much.

"I'm sorry... this is the only good way thing I know for your sake, Kageyama." Hinata said and cried. Clenching his fist in his pants, catching his breath, and punching his laps.

"It hurts... it hurts." He cried and still punching himself.

"Shoyo?" A loud voice in front of him made himself stop from punching his lap.

"Atsumu-san?" He called out.

"Stop. You are hurting yourself. Let's go home." Atsumu said and carried Hinata in his arms.

"Is this really a good thing to do?" Hinata ask mindlessly.

"You made this to yourself. You should know the answer." Atsumu said.

'The answer is, we will never be together. And I know that from the start.' Hinata said at the back of his mind as he looks at the direction where Kageyama went.

"I'm sorry..." he mumbled.

"Miya Atsumu." Kageyama called out Atsumu in his training. They are now on the same team. Monster Generation.

"Yeah? What is it, tobio-kun?" Atsumu said while stretching his hand.

"I am just here to tell you please take care of Hinata. He may be clumsy and sucks at his actions but please, still take care of him." Kageyama said and bowed his head.

Atsumu was shock on what kageyama have said. 'He is letting Hinata go now? Is he serious?'

"What do you mean, tobio-kun?" He said and cross his arms on his chest.

"I know that you two are together. I wont butt in into your relationship... I'm letting him go. So please take care of him." Kageyama said and walks away.

Atsumu just shakes his and take his phone out. 'Is this really what makes you happy, Shoyo?' He said.

"What is it, Atsumu-san?" Hinata ask when Atsumu arrived in the cafe.

Atsumu emailed him that he wants to meet him up and tell something.

"Let's stop this act, Shoyo." Atsumu said with a serious tone.

"Stop what, Atsumu-san?" Hinata ask and looks away.

"This relationship, this Act. Let's stop." He said firmly.

"This relationship, This act. Let's stop." Atsumu-san said.

Hinata didn't move an inch. He knows what Atsumu is pointing out. But he doesn't want to stop, cause this is the only thing he knows to make Kageyama stay away from him.

"Why? Why are you telling me this now all of the sudden?" Hinata asked and look firmly into Atsumu's eyes.

"You are hurting him. You are hurting yourself. Don't you even try to explain things to him? He loves you and I know he will accept this. He will accept you." Atsumu reason out as he was pointing out something.

"We can't be together. I will only be a burder to him." Hinata said and clasped his hands together. Trembling with fear. Fear of Kageyama knowing everything he have done.

"Did you ask him? Did you explain your side? No you didn't. You just think of yourself. Why don't you try to talk to him not doing this shitty act." Atsumu bursted out. He was frustrated with how things have become.

Kageyama and Hinata may be together if ever Hinata explains the truth. But Hinata shut himself up.

"Can't you see? I can never play again. I will never able to spike any of his toss. I can't jump even just an inch to reach him. I can't be with him in the court again... and that includes to be together with him. I'm sorry for the trouble it caught you. Please. Don't mention anything about this." Hinata said as he reach for his crunches and walks away.

Hinata got injured his ankle way back in beach volleyball. It gotten worst day by day because of his trainings and games. Refused to take a therapy which makes his ankle in a critical condition, and can't play anymore.

"I love you, Shoyo. And this is only I could do for you." Atsumu said as he looks at the direction of where Hinata goes off.

*Gym Training Ground*

Atsumu looks around of the Gym to look for Kageyama, only to see him absent-minded.

"Kageyama." He called out his name as he walks near Kageyama. "Let's talk." He said firmly.

"What's there to talk about? To brag about Hinata being with you? Don't bother." Kageyama said as he stands up and ready to go but Atsumu grab him.

"Shoyo- shoyo needs you." He said in a low voice.

"Huh?" Kageyama chuckled. "Can't you even comfort your own lover?" He said but the truth is, he was in verge of crying, just thinking of Atsumu and Hinata being together makes him uncomfortable.

"I will explain. In behalf of Shoyo." Atsumu said.
