Hello everyone, Nice to see you here again. First of all, thank you so much for getting interested in my book !...

I hope your life will be flooded with happiness and hopes as dreams never die..

So keep dreaming and keep smiling 🙂

So before we start I think I should introduce my characters first as it will may be more helpful to you for a better understanding of the plot and the story ...

So let's begin!

Lucy : Our main character or the female lead of this book. (Acctually everyone is a main role in their own lives ,including you and me) .But still

Innocent yet smart, talented girl Lucy Grayson is our main character here.

She is a student and she is 18 years old.

Unknown: There is also someone unknown playing a lead role here who will reveal the real face later ..

Lucifer:  The President of Students union of the institution Lucy has been studying . Handsome,talented, calm and a reliable person as the president.

Yuki: The strict Discipline Commissioner of the students union of the institution. He is well known for his strict nature and perfect appearance. However he is somehow friendly too.

Sanaya: Sanaya is a good friend of Lucy who always takes care of her . She is a bit annoying and clingy sometimes ,but Lucy doesn't hate her for that.

So let's begin this wonderful journey of the magical kingdom and see if our Chinderella finds her perfect prince Charming or a Dangerous Darling!

"Aah! I don't like these people, not at all." Lucy said to herself throwing off her school bag on the empty bed . She said out loud," I really don't like to go to the school." One may think that she doesn't like the school because of the studies, teachers or the strict rules. But that's not the reason behind her saying so ,as she was the topper in the whole grade herself; A nice, beautiful and smart girl. So by ' these people' she didn't refer to her classmates or teachers but some senior girls, getting jealous of her for no reason. Though being brave and independent outside, she was actually a total introverted person with a soft and kind heart inside her. Staying alone in the town for the studies is her another trouble. But Lucy is really brave sometimes and makes some perfect moves to protect herself and the others she cared about.

        So with a greatly disturbed mind Lucy returned to her room throwing her bag on the empty bed. Soon enough she convinced herself not to care about the useless things anymore and started to think about the upcoming vacations to clear up her mind . But she never knew that some upcoming days were going to turn her life upside down.

(Time Skip)Next Day

" Hey, Lucy you came !" Sanaya waved at Lucy as soon as her lean figure appeared at the school gate. Lucy smiled back and approached her .

" Good Morning San!"

       Sanaya smiled brightly and turned to her classroom and sat down heavily on her seat. The usual classes started as Mrs Chen started explaining the law of evolution...

     "Okay class, I hope all of you will enjoy your vacations and stay healthy." Mrs Smith said as she finished her lecture.

"Thanks teacher." They replied as the teacher went out. Sanaya turned to Lucy and smiled," So the classes are finally over , right?"

Lucy replied putting back her things into her bag," Yes, indeed they are." Lucy stood up and went down stairs slowly leaving the classroom...

"It's finally the holidays. Probably I will have some time to stay alone and enjoy by myself...." Lucy didn't even notice that she reached her house while daydreaming about her holidays. But as soon as she stepped at the front door to unlock the locks,she found a dark coloured envelop along with the black feather and pearl  decorated chain attached to it. It was placed exactly below hard door knob. Lucy  confusedly looked around but found no one.She unlocked the door and took the envelope inside to open it and look if it was really for her or

' someone might have made a mistake'. She closed the door behind her and placed her bag on the couch. she opened the envelope carefully, there was only a piece of paper on it containing a few words in neat handwritings. It said,

" Stay happy and always smile because you are so perfect. You are the only one for me and so I want you to always smile for me."

There was not even the name of the sender, so she considered it as a prank played by one of the few friends she had. She looked at the envelope carefully and then put it into the drawer. Later she asked a few friends about the letter but they denied it .She didn't think much about the envelope and finally went to the cozy bed to have a sweet dream where she could fly with the birds ,swim across the ocean with the whales and explore the space with the astronauts.....

The next day sanaya  invited her to have a meal together. Lucy wanted to refuse it politely, but Sanaya was such a pain that Lucy agreed to her at last. She went to Sanaya's place. Actually Sanaya also used to live alone for the studying away from her house. So she was arranging a small party to celebrate the vacations. Lucy pressed the bell and the door was opened at once . Sanaya jumped ," You are finally here !welcome Lucy"

She  led Lucy to her bedroom as it was quite early to enjoy some music together. But as soon as she looked at her laptop Lucy asked ," The background of the laptop,  It is our school's President of student Union. right?" Sanaya smiled ," Oh,yes that's right. Lucifer is so talented and famous and surely handsome .He is quite popular among the girls, too bad that he is not interested in any of the girls.But we almost have a fan club in school ...."

"Oh.."Lucy interrupted her," So that's what you girls do at the school?"

Sanaya laughed," Hey,no no.. not at all, forget about the things I said just now . Let's enjoy the food together.

Lucy sighed ,"You really don't have anything to do right except for those gossips ...."

Sanaya tried to change the subject,

" Hey do you know that a few more classmates are joining us today at the party? Lucy was confused .

"but you never mention that before, I thought it's just you and me ."

Sanaya pouted ,"Oh come ooon it's only Jinny and Alexa ,please don't be mad .Okay?They actually called  today, telling me that they are going to visit me.

Lucy smiled," Okay Okay, that's fine."

       The girls talked about everything in the world. Finally they realised that it was getting darker. Lucy stood up  first," Girls, I think I should leave now, it's already dark outside."

Alexa jumped up ,"Oh my I never realised that ! lets go , we are getting late already."

Sun worriedly asked," Lucy will you be fine ?I never noticed that it's dark already."

Lucy nodded ," Of course it's fine . There are not much people on the streets so it should only take about 15 minutes or so on foot. Bye everyone!"

Lucy was walking down the lane when she suddenly realised that there was someone following her. At first she thought that it was  the echo of her own footsteps. But later it seemed like that someone was trying to match the pace of her footsteps the feeling shook her up and she turned around to have a look.

Lucy turned around to have a look. But there was no one behind her.She thought that it must be an illusion.Lucy fastened her pace of walking but the feeling of being watched never left her until she reached her home.She locked the door quickly behind her .Suddenly her phone rang up ,it was Sanaya,

" Hey Girl,Did you reach home safely?"

Lucy tried to come down and replied with her usual and most convincing tone ,

"Yes ,don't worry about that. I am home already."

She looked at the screen of her mobile phone ,it showed 7:35 p.m. Lucy convinced herself that there was no one behind her and even if there was someone, they will never bother her again and then went upstairs to have a bath .

" After all, it was a tiring day !"

Lucy said to herself ,putting her phone on her bedstand.

For Lucy, a hot shower is enough to wash away all the bad feelings at once. Because of this she was often considered as an emotionless person. (But that exactly fits her personality after all ) so the thought just left her mind as soon as the warm droplets of water touched her soft skin. Although she ignored the experience on the lane, she still decided to go to bed early.

The next day Lucy was quietly reading a book lying down on the couch. After turning over a lot of pages she finally considered to get some sleep and took off her glasses .She hugged the pillow and soon enough the tiredness put her into deep sleep . She was having a nice dream about her book characters, drifting off in the cloudy sky.... When she suddenly woke up at the very loud barking of a dog . Lucy tried to ignore it and get back to sleep, but soon enough the dog started barking even louder. Disturbed by the continuous barking, Lucy stood up and picked up her glasses. Then she went to the window and pulled up the cartains to see what was going going on . She found out that it was her neighbours dog barking at her garden. Soon enough the owner lady visited her to take back the dog she said ,

" You see dear ,I am really sorry! I really want to apologize for Bruno's behaviour .But he never did something like this before ...I don't know why exactly he is suddenly being so aggressive out of blue."

Lucy replied politely," No aunty ,you don't need to apologize .After all it's Bruno. He might have seen something or may have been bothered by something."

The lady nodded thoughtfully and took back the dog. Lucy also decided to finish the book she had been reading earlier. The title reads 'The darkest nightmare."

While reading the book she didn't even notice that the clock already stuck six in the evening. She called her parents and the casual talk ended within a few minutes .After that she walked to the kitchen .

Suddenly Lucy realised that the dog was still barking from Mrs Groans' house .That continuou barking of the dog somehow made her uncomfortable. After all a dog would not bark continuously for nothing. See peeked through the small window in her kitchen to see if there was anything wrong with her neighbours. But everything seemed fine except for the dog.

She took her headphones and put them on while working in the kitchen .The melodious tune relaxed her mind for a while . She took the cup of coffee and bowl full of noodles and left the kitchen.

Lucy expected it to not happen again .But for her surprise , she noticed that the dog kept barking at the same time and the same way, for a few following days. Even Mrs Groans, the owner lady was confused about its sudden change in behaviour.

One night Lucy woke up at the sudden barking of the dog ,Bruno. It was close to her room .She was a little scared and so she covered herself in the warm blanket to get some sleep .After a while the dog stopped barking as if it was chased away .Lucy eventually fell asleep and drifted back to the world of fairies in her dreams.

But what made her more sad was the following morning. Mrs Groans was at her door and she said that Bruno was badly hurt with some sort of sharp  weapon . Lucy noticed blood all over her garden . She was shaken up ,

"Oh  God !who on earth can be so cruel? "

The lady told her that she would take the dog  to the VET  and she would not be home for a while. Lucy was really upset to see the hurt dog suffering in pain and covered in dried blood and dust .It almost made her cry . Although  the dog kept barking all day out of nowhere, but still she liked the dog .Bruno was indeed a loyal and brave dog .The thought of the cruel person who hurt the dog was even more scary. She thought that it probably ran towards her garden when it was hurt . Lucy skipped her breakfast thinking about the poor dog.

At noon Lucy decided to go to the market to buy some goods. But as soon as she stepped out of her house the feeling of being watched kept hunting her. She turned back multiple times and pretended to be alright.Lucy practically run to the store and asked the shop girl for the things while observing the streets and people passing by. All of a sudden she felt a hand on her shoulder which made her jump.

..... Lucy was having a dream,

    A beautiful palace full of sparkles

    Birds singing all the way and

    Dew drops glowing at the golden

    Morning light....

    She entered the palace and saw a  

    Prince surrounded in darkness

    Maybe he had been sleeping there

    for ages

    And was waiting for his princess.

   The Prince smirked and Lucy

    Turned around and saw

    Lots and Lots of blood..

    Dripping from the roses , all

    Over the Royale garden.....

  Lucy was shocked to feel a hand on her shoulder all of a sudden, which almost made her jump.

But when she turned around she found a familiar face smiling at her reaction. It was her classmates Sanaya and Yuki . Sanaya laughed out ,

"Wow man! You really don't need to jump like that,it was only me ."

Lucy was a bit embarrassed at her own, sudden reaction. Though her heart was racing she tried to calm down with the usual smile.

" Yes. You scared me. Anyway what are you guys doing here?"

       Sanaya told her that she met Yuki while shopping and it must be a fate that they also met her at the same store.

   Yuki was the serious and strict, well Known Head of the Discipline commission of the students Council of her school. But he seemed totally different without the uniform. He smiled brightly,

" Nice to see you, Lucy Chan. Would you like to join us for a cup of coffee? It's on me."

     On an usual day Lucy would rather turn down anyone asking her out for a cup of tea or coffee. But Sanaya was already dragging her to the nearest Cafe . Lucy sighed helplessly.

      They sat down on the table near the corner. Lucy still felt like someone was watching her every moment. She tried to talk to Sanaya about that, as expected the cheerful girl easily kept talking without even a break for a second. But the smart Discipline Commissioner noticed Lucy and asked her if there was anything wrong .

Lucy took a deep breath , deciding whether she should tell them about it or maybe , should deal with it all by herself as she was used to, in case of other matters.

Finally she cleared her throat and spoke up,

" Well..the thing is that I feel like...

  There is someone stalking me. Everytime I step out, I feel like being watched!"

     Sanaya suddenly stopped talking and opened her eyes widely,

"Really? That's dangerous!"

Yuki looked confused.

" But why would someone stalk you? Have you gotten some new enemies?"

Lucy interrupted,"Hey ,do you think I will fight someone out of blue?"

they all laughed out . Yuki continued,

" It must be your illusion, as you are so interested in crime stories now a days but if there is something wrong then you should tell us. The matter can be serious."

Lucy noticed that the surrounding was tensed up and so she tried to change the topic.

" Well ,I never hurt anyone or harm anyone ,so why would someone follow me ? Let's see who finishes the coffee first!"

After a short talk Yuki stood up to leave . He told Lucy to call him if there was anything suspicious around her .She nodded and waved at him while Sanaya held her arm and said,

" Let's go !"

Lucy was confused .Sanaya smiled again,

" Let's go together, I will stay with you today ."

Lucy couldn't refuse this girl after all. But she also felt warm and safe having a friend around her. So she replied,

" Okay! Let's go if you really insist."

It was not the first time that Sanaya visited Lucy ,but she never slept over before .The girls talked and Lucy fell  rather safe with a cheerful girl like Sanaya . Sanaya could be a bit much clingy sometimes ,but she was a good girl after all with a caring and kind heart .

She kept telling Lucy about the school rules ,the talented president and the fangirls of Yuki and much more

' unimportant' things ;at least for Lucy who never cared about those things. She was a total introvert and was not interested in the things that a normal teenager school girl would do.

After the talk Lucy went to the kitchen and Sanaya went up to Lucy's bedroom to find something to wear.But soon she ran down the stairs and hugged Lucy tightly, she looked very scared all of a sudden that Lucy almost shouted out aloud ,

"What's wrong with you Sanaya? What happened?"

Sanaya replied," Lucy! There was someone... I have seen a figure lurking in the dark. It seems like there was someone at your window .

Lucy I am scared!"

Lucy's mind went blank .She replied,

" It must be your illusion. Who would climb up to my room ?"But you stay here !I will go up and have a look."

Sanaya hold her tightly," Nooo Lucy! don't go .We should call the police. Please don't leave me here alone."

It made Lucy scared too. It seemed like Sanaya was gasping for air to breath . Lucy picked up a kitchen knife and stood still .

"Calling the police will create a huge fuss for us and we don't have any evidence .right ?"

Lucy asked Sanaya worriedly.

She replied ,

"Okay.Lucy let me call Yuki at least. Maybe he can help us."

Sanaya dialed his number and Yuki pickup the call at once.

Sanaya shouted,

" Yuki! I saw someone at her window! We are scared....  What do we do now...?

Yuki replied," What !for real?Should I go out and check up on you guys?"

Before they could answer he said something and hung up the call .After a few minutes they heard the doorbell.

It was Yuki ,he asked ."Are you alright? "

Sanaya cried," I am so glad that you came  You!"

They looked around the house and all over the place together, but found no evidence of someone being there.

After searching for a long time Lucy convinced them that it must be an effect of her mind because of her talks earlier and apologized to Yuki for bothering him.

He said," Don't embarrasse me . It's fine to call me for any kind of help Lucy."

He left the place while Lucy locked the doors carefully and went to bed out of the tiredness .Sanaya was still scared and was holding Lucy tightly while sleeping .

Lucy looked at her helplessly," How am I supposed to sleep if she keeps hugging me like that ?

But having her around is better than being all alone at a time like this."

After sometimes Lucy slept quietly holding her pillow in her arms.

The morning with golden light woke up Lucy for another day. Sanaya was still sleeping quietly .They actually woke up late because of the horrible experience of the night before .Lucy got up first and after some time Sanaya also joined her. Sanaya looked around the house with Lucy to make sure she was safe and there was no one ."

After searching and looking around Sanaya finally left her house. But for some unknown reason ,Lucy was a little scared,  specially when Sanaya had been so frightened .

Lucy tried to forget about the disturbing things and focused on the book she had been reading.

suddenly her phone rang up, lt was Sanaya. She was still worried about Lucy as according to Sanaya it  definitely wasn't her imagination. Lucy was fed up with her calls for the few following days .

She sighed,"  Oh God why does this girl keeps bordering me? nothing happened in these days. right? Sanaya is actually behaving like detective.

Haha, Now it seems like that this girl is even more annoying than a stalker!"
