But when the gods noticed Jin’s potential — a rare spark called "The Forbidden Flame" — Rael grew afraid.

“Why him? Why always him?!”

And so, during the Trial of Ascension, Rael sabotaged the ritual. He stabbed Jin through the heart, whispering:

“Die now… or become a god I’ll never match.”

Jin was tossed into the Pit of Null, where all failures are discarded.
