A happy man was skipping and enjoying his walk while he went to his girlfriend's house.
Jimin walked up to his girlfriend's house and smiled.
He knocked on the door and was immediately greeted by the servants. He walked up the stairs, unable to keep himself from smiling. Holding the bouquet of roses in his hand, he trotted upstairs happily. When he arrived at the first floor where his girlfriend's room was, he noticed that the servants looked panicked upon seeing him.
He shrugged it off and went to his girlfriend's room door. He was about to open the door when he heard moaning sounds.
The bouquet of roses dropped from Jimin's hands. He could recognize that voice from anywhere.
He slowly opened the door to see his girlfriend and his brother on his girlfriend's bed making love.

What do you think you're doing!?
Jimin's brother and girlfriend looked up at Jimin with a annoyed look on their faces.
His brother sighed and got off his girlfriend and glared at him.

Jimin looked at his girlfriend Bai Xi, the girl he had loved for five years, the girl who he had put before himself and had given his all to, now looked at him as if he were trash.

Jimin felt a surge of mixed emotions. He felt angry and sad at the same time. He couldn't believe that his own brother and girlfriend would treat him this way. Before his tears could fall, he stomped out the room and ran down the stairs.
He ran out of the mansion and on the streets. He ran as far as he could away from the mansion. He stopped in the middle of a street and cried.
The tears were just falling and they wouldn't stop. Sudden the rain began to pour and everyone around Jimin began to look for places to shelter from the rain.
But Jimin just stood there, in the rain. Letting fall on him as he cried relentlessly.

I... I....I.....trust...ed.....them...
He cried and cried until the tears couldn't come anymore. Jimin sighed and aimlessly walked to a taxi cab and got in. The driver looked at him but didn't say anything as he seemed to notice that his passenger was having a bad day.

Where to, young man?

H…He Mansion....
He replied in a low voice but loud enough for the driver to hear. The driver started his car engine and drove in the west where the He Mansion was. Jimin thanked the driver and paid his fee even though it was wet. The driver nodded and drove off.
Jimin approached the mansion and stood at the gate. He looked at the mansion that stood before him.
He took a deep breath and walked in.
He entered the house and was about go upstairs to his room when he heard a voice.

Jimin turned around to see He Nia, his stepmother and wife of his father He Niles.
She looked at him in disgust and screwed up her nose.

Nia walked up to him and as Jimin turned around, she slapped him in the face.
Jimin shuddered. He was beyond shocked. They had always bullied him, but he didn't He Nia would take it this far. His eyes stung with droplets of tears that were threatening to fall again.
He rubbed his sore cheek and looked up at Nia, half scared.
Nia smirked, glad to see that she had once again, intimidated Jimin.

Don't you dare turn your back on me.

Do you think you are the prince of this mansion? You are not. Stop pretending as if you have a place in this mansion, because you don't.
Jimin looked up at Nia and said nothing. Nia looked at him, disgusted.

I don't have the time to deal with you, but your father eventually will. I don't know why he still keeps you around.
Nia took one last look at Jimin and turned around and walked in to the living room.
Jimin just stood there, bewildered and still in shock. When he recovered, he trotted upstairs to his room and closed the door. He flopped unto his bed and buried his face in the pillow. He again started to cry.
Three hours ago, when Jimin had been standing in the rain, he didn't notice that two men were looking at him.

Is that him? The one that is going to be married off?
The unknown man, looked at Jimin and studied him.
The man who looked at Jimin studied him carefully, taking in every thing about Jimin. His features, his physique, even his background information. He smirked.

*So you're the one. I can't wait to meet you.
Jimin didn't know how long he slept, but what he did know is that the harassment and mistreatment he received from his family was about to get worse. He got up and looked in the mirror.
He looked terrible, absolutely terrible. He looked at his cheek, which was now purple and had a small bruise on it. He didn't dare touch it.
Sudden there was a knock on the door.

Young Master Jimin, are you awake?
It was the He's family butler, Uncle Si.
Jimin looked away from the mirror and went to sit on his bed.

Come in.
Uncle Si stepped inside and closed the door. He walked over to where Jimin was sitting and sat beside him. As usual, the first thing he noticed was the bruise on Jimin's cheek.
Uncle Si/Butler of He Mansion/Kind
Oh my, what happened to you?
Jimin sighed and looked down.
Uncle Si looked at Jimin with empathy. He has seen and watched Jimin grow. He had held him when he was a baby, when things were upside down in the Park Mansion years ago. Now this baby was all grown up, but he still suffered as he did when he was a child.
Uncle Si got off the bed and went into one of Jimin's bed table drawers to look for something. When he found a first aid kit, he took it out and closed the drawer. Then he went over to Jimin and sat beside him. He took out some peroxide and some bandages, and gestured for Jimin to turn the cheek that was bruised to face him. Uncle Si dressed the bruise and bandaged it properly. When he was done, he placed the first aid kit back in the drawer.
He went back and sat on the bed and Jimin placed his head on his shoulder. Uncle Si patted Jimin's back and stroked his hair. He loved Jimin and cared for him like his own son.
Uncle Si/Butler of He Mansion/Kind
It will be alright, Jiminie, soon it will be.
Jimin sighed, obviously frustrated.

He continued to stroke Jimin's hair when his phone rang. Jimin leaned up from off his shoulder and allowed him to take his call.

Tell that bastard to come downstairs immediately.

Jimin looked at Uncle Si.

Jimin slowly followed Uncle Si downstairs and headed towards the living room.
He entered, and before he could take a seat and settle down properly, his father dropped a bomb on him.

Jimin gasped. His father was the ultimate definition of cruel. He looked at him while gripping his shirt tightly. He gritted his teeth and turned to walk back upstairs to his room.

Don't even think of escaping or running away.
Jimin didn't say anything, he just walked upstairs and to his room. He closed the door behind him and leaned against the door.

When will this end?
A few hours later, Jimin left the He Mansion to visit his grandmother in the hospital.
After checking in on her condition with the doctor, he sat beside the bed where his grandmother lay. Her chest moving up and down, the only sign that said she was alive.
Jimin sighed and patted his grandmother hand that had a series of bandages attached to it.
He looked at her face which was had a peaceful expression.

Jimin cried for a while and then stopped. He wiped his face and stood up. He took one last look at his grandmother.

Jimin stood up and walked outside the ward.
His grandmother slowly opened her eyes, a tear falling down her cheek.
