There was a short silence.

(I don’t even know how, but it sounded judgy—and it’s literally just a robotic voice!)

(But honestly, I’m not that shocked by all this. I’ve read so many transmigration and reincarnation novels over the years that I’m pretty familiar with how these things work. It’s actually one of my favorite genres.)

I asked, cautiously. That’s honestly my biggest concern.
