Creator’s Note
Hi, dear readers!
First of all, thank you so much for clicking on “His Chosen Prey.” Whether you’re here out of curiosity, love for the genre, or you just stumbled upon it by chance—I truly appreciate your time and interest.
Let me start by saying this story is a bit of an experiment—a pilot, if you will. His Chosen Prey will run for about 10 to 15 chapters only. Think of it as a trial or a teaser for something possibly bigger. I wanted to test the waters and see how this story resonates with readers like you. If the reception is warm and you find yourself wanting more—who knows? It may grow into something longer or more complex in the future.
That being said, this story will move at a fast pace. I won't be spending too many chapters on slow-burn development or long arcs—because in a limited number of chapters, every scene has to count. You can expect intense emotional shifts, quick turns in relationships, and revelations that hit fast and hard. It's all meant to capture the heightened feeling of obsession, vulnerability, and control that the theme revolves around.
Now, let’s talk about the content.
His Chosen Prey is a Boys’ Love (BL) story that delves into themes of possession, psychological tension, and emotional power play. If you enjoy stories that blur the line between danger and desire, dominance and devotion—this might just be for you.
However, please be advised:
This story is intended for mature audiences only. It may contain scenes that are explicit (18+) in nature, as well as dark, emotionally intense content that could be triggering for some readers. These may include themes of obsession, power imbalance, emotional dependency, and moments of morally gray behavior between characters. If any of these themes are sensitive or uncomfortable for you, I recommend proceeding with caution or skipping this story altogether. I care about your mental and emotional safety above all else.
To be clear—this story is fiction. It explores complex dynamics between characters that are not meant to serve as real-life relationship goals or standards. As with many works of fiction, it’s a space to explore ideas, emotions, and what-ifs, not a model for reality.
Finally, I want to thank you again for giving this story a chance. I’m both nervous and excited to share it with the world. If you enjoy it, please consider leaving a comment, a like, or even sharing it with a friend. Your support, no matter how small, means everything to writers like me who are just starting out.
So buckle up—this ride may be short, but it will be intense.
With love and a slightly dark heart,
—Pink

Good bye and see you in chapter 1.
(Late in the evening)
Misha walked fast in the dark alley. Every step felt unsure. Someone was following him. He was almost out of the alley, close to the main road where cars could be seen far away. Then, a hand tightly covered his mouth. He couldn't shout. Another hand pulled his hair hard, making him whimper in pain.
Unknown: (whispers in his ears) I told you I hate it when I want something but can't get it easily. Now that I have you, you have to hurt a little. Don't you think that's fair?
Misha: Please don't do this. I beg you. (Mouth covered)
Unknown: You should have begged earlier. (Covered his nose with a cloth sprayed with a chemical)
Misha: (Tried to fight back, but as the chemical slowly worked, he slowly lost his senses.)
2 months earlier
Far from the busy city center, the road was not paved. There were many coconut trees and other big trees that blocked the sun, making the air warm and cool. It was a typical country road in the Philippines. But it wasn't too poor because there were some solar streetlights on the side of the road. They weren't very helpful, though, because they were far apart.
Early in the morning, Misha woke up early. Not because he needed to cook, but because his mother was telling him to get up. He took a bath and ate the food his parents made. He grew up in a poor family but was treated like a princess. He was the youngest of his two brothers.
Today was his college enrollment. He was going to a private school near the main road. It wasn't very famous, but it was known as one of the best schools in the area. Many rich students went there. Misha, with his mother, went to the school. As they reached the small gate, which made the school feel exclusive, Misha decided he needed to be more confident.
Misha: Ma, I think I can handle myself. I'm a college student now. (He was nervous but tried to stay calm.)
Misha's mother: Are you sure about this? (She wasn't sure because she thought Misha was too delicate to handle things alone.)
Misha: Yes, Ma. I can do it. From today, I'll practice doing things by myself.
Misha's mother: But if you need my help, just call me, okay?
Misha: Of course, Ma. But really, I can do this.
Misha went to enroll. He signed up for the education program. As he finished his papers, the students were noisy, especially the older ones (2nd year to 4th year). One group of students was louder than the others. They stood out because they were mostly tall, handsome, and rich. They were in line just like Misha, and he was sitting near them because the chairs were set up for students. Misha could hear them talking easily.
Erik: We're already in our second year, but most students here are boring.
Kevin: Yeah, even girls are sluts.
Axel-ML: Who knows what this year might bring? (He smirked.)
Misha just ignored Axel's group talking about their sex life. As they were about to reach the last seat, meaning it would soon be time to go inside the office for enrollment papers, Kevin said something that caught Misha's attention.
Kevin: Axel, you know that first-year students this school year are taking the new classes. They have night classes too, just like us criminology students.
Axel-ML: Haha, I've heard about it. Students who try to avoid us will be on campus at night. Looks like something fun this semester.
Erik: Yeah, because you like to hunt those students who don't like you. Haha, mostly from other departments, though, making it hard for us to play with them because our schedules don't match.
Axel-ML: They said Education students are good at taking care of children, so maybe they can take care of my offspring, hahahaha.
When Misha heard this, he realized that the education department was a target for students who wanted one-night stands. Most education students were girls, and if there were a few boys, they were feminine, just like Misha. He had a soft, feminine voice, a thin body, wasn't tall, had white skin, and moved in a feminine way.
After Axel's group finished enrolling, they left the campus. Misha was about to finish his enrollment. He called his mother's phone and asked if she could tell his father to pick him up at the gate. The day was normal. He finished everything and was finally enrolled in the education department. Classes would start a few days later, so Misha had two free days.
As the last day of vacation came, Misha decided to pack his things. He would be staying in an apartment because the school was far from his house. He packed only a few things, just the important ones. Since he had few clothes, he packed all of them.
As he reached his apartment, a familiar voice echoed in the living area for all tenants. He saw Axel's group laughing. He just walked past them, deciding to avoid them, and went straight to his room. Axel and his group chose to stay in the same apartment as Misha because there was no curfew, giving them freedom for their party life. Misha unpacked his clothes and things in his room. He locked his room properly.
Suggestions? How about clarification?
Thanks PINK-tastic
The first rays of sunlight barely shone through the thick trees outside Misha's apartment window. They made his small, new room dimly lit. He had barely slept. Worry about starting college and Axel's group being so close churned in his stomach. The quiet of the apartment building, except for a far-off bird or rustling leaves, was very different from his noisy home. Today was his first day of college, and it was already feeling strange.
His stomach growled, but first, a shower. He got his soap and shampoo, put his towel over his arm, and quietly left his room, locking the door. The hallway was empty. All other apartment doors were closed. He hoped his feeling about avoiding Axel was right, at least for now. He reached the shared bathroom, a small, tiled room with one shower, toilet, and sink. It was cleaner than he thought, probably because it was early. He quickly stepped into the shower, letting the cool water wash away some of his worry. He hummed a soft song to himself, a habit from home, enjoying the short moment of quiet. Just as he was about to turn off the water, a loud clang from the hallway made him jump. It sounded like something heavy had fallen. He froze, his heart pounding hard. He suddenly felt how thin the bathroom door was. He listened closely, but then it was silent again. Probably nothing, he told himself, trying to calm his fast heart.
A few minutes later, wrapped in his towel, Misha reached for the doorknob. He waited, took a deep breath, and opened it. As he stepped out, his eyes were still getting used to the dimmer light in the hall. He almost bumped into a wide chest.
Axel: "Woah, easy there, softie,"
A voice said slowly, sounding strangely amused.
Misha gasped, stumbling back. His towel almost fell. It was Axel. He stood in the hallway, leaning against the wall near the shared bathroom. He had a small, dark thing in his hand – maybe a dropped phone? Misha's eyes, wide with fear, looked from Axel's face to the floor, and then, without meaning to, down.
Axel's eyes moved slowly, carefully. They took in Misha's thin body, the curve of his hip showing from the towel, and his damp hair clinging to his neck. A small, almost hidden change in Axel's face, a tightening around his eyes, showed a lot. It was a look of pure, strong interest, but not friendly. It was the look of a hunter sizing up its prey.
Misha held his towel tighter. Shame and a deep fear washed over him. He felt open, weak, like an insect under a magnifying glass.
Misha: "I-I'm sorry,"
He stammered, his voice barely a whisper. "I didn't know anyone was out here."
Axel pushed himself off the wall and took a slow step forward.
Axel: "No need to say sorry, little bird. It's a shared bathroom, right?"
He stopped, his smirk getting wider.
Axel: "Though I have to say, you really woke up the place."
He leaned closer, his voice dropping to a low, rough whisper that made Misha shiver.
Axel: "Wouldn't want you to catch a cold, though. You look... delicate."
Misha felt his face get hot, the warmth rising despite the cold from his shower. He wanted to talk back, to tell Axel to leave him alone, but the words got stuck in his throat. He just stood there, stuck, very aware of his half-nakedness and Axel’s uncomfortable, strong stare.
Axel finally stood straight, a shine in his eyes.
Axel: "Well, don't just stand there. Get dressed before you freeze." He chuckled, a low, unsettling sound. Then, without another word, he turned and walked towards the shared bathroom, whistling a tune.
Misha didn't move until the bathroom door closed behind Axel. He let out a shaky breath he didn't know he was holding. His legs suddenly felt weak. He quickly got back into his room, locking the door with shaking hands. He leaned against it, his heart still beating hard. The privacy of his own room felt like a weak shield. This was only the first day. This was only the beginning.

Should I just completely make it as narrative style? I don't know so I'll release chapter 3-5 sooner.
