"Come on I have got this" I sighed "wow running to school in the middle of summer was no joke. 'Damn I wonder if class started already' I listened through the classroom door, "Tony," 'ok the teacher is taking attendance i think i made it' i suddenly froze wait im about to be called next i realize "present" Tony spoke up "ookkayyy" the teacher sighed slowly as he checked of his name. After sliding up his glasses the teacher said the next person's name "Will, are you here today?" The door slammed open "I- I'm here" I panted, the teacher jumped seeming a bit shocked "oh, okay great you made it take a seat."

After slowly stumbling to my seat beside Tony (my best freind since grade 3) I gave him a fist bump "saw my cool entrance dude." I asked him "yeah right" he retorted "more like you running in last second panting and sweating bullets." "Alright class settle down let's get started."

"Today we will be learning about building designs since it has come to me that some of you want to be in the construction business when you grow up," to that statement I got super excited 'how did he know' I shot Tony a quick glance, he was looking he with his usual smug smile. With that i slid him another fist bump "nice going dude" he was acting all confused, but after realizing I wasn't buying it he gave in, "ok fine I told him that he should give us a few lessons on it, but it wasn't just for you I like construction to you know that."

It seemed like a few minutes but the lunch bell rang and Tony instantly took out his lunch kit, "let's head to our spot" he whispered excitedly "race you there" I chuckeld acting all childish  when genuinely I was just in a great mood after hearing so much information about construction.

While I was quote un-quote speed-walking out of the class my teacher called out my name "Will, would you mind coming over here for a second?" Well I was a bit shocked 'what does Mr.Brant want?' 'Did I talk to much during class?' "Something wrong Mr.Brant?" I asked "no no, of course not, I just heard from Tony that you want to end up in the construction business when you grow up?" 'Well he wasn't wrong' "yea my dad has always been a construction worker so I honestly just always saw construction as a cool job" "why do you ask?" I was curious to what he was going to say " oh its just I was a construction worker before I became a teacher so I was just curious." "Ok thanks for the great lesson by the way." I shouted over my shoulder as I was leaving. "No problem" he returned "and no running in the hallway" he added but I pretended not to hear him as I sprinted off to eat lunch with Tony at our usual spot.
