It was night time. Hundreds of fireflies all aglow lifted off the dewy grasses and tiny shoots of corn flying so slowly, it seemed they struggled against the weight of moisture hanging heavily in the night air.

Far away in the South there was a majestic mansion in which a young brunette was trying to get some sleep.

'Argh'

'Why is it always like this? Why Can't I even sleep properly?!' the brunette thought while twisting and turning around on her queen sized bed.

After a couple of hours of struggling the brunette has finally went to sleep, after an hour there was an ear piercing cry.

"NOOOOOO!!"

The brunette abruptly woke up and touches her forehead which is covered in sweat while panting hardly.

Footsteps can be heard outside and the brunette room door pushed open and there stands an middle aged Man with Alluring black eyes and Brown hair.

"What happened, Akime!?" The middle aged man asked while encircling the brunette in his arms.

"...Pa.." Akime tries to speak while shivering

"Is it another nightmare again?" the middle age man voiced out his concern

"I'm sorry for troubling you, Pa" Akime answers while nodding

Middle aged man sighs "Akime, don't say that as your father it's my responsibility to look after you"

Akime remains silent

"Do you want me to accompany you tonight?" Middle aged man asked

"..if it's okay with you" Akime answers while nodding

The middle aged man smiles and sits next to the brunette while placing her head on his lap.

"Now, sleep my dear" he says

"Good night, Pa.." Akime says before closing her eyes

'I thought she'll forgot about the past if I bring her back home.. but..' middle aged man sighs while thinking

"Good morning, Aki" the middle aged man greeted while entering the dinning hall.

"Good morning, Pa" Akime said while getting herself seated to have her breakfast.

"So, what are your plans for today?" he asks while sitting on the chair.

"Hmm, nothing just thought of reading the books in the study" Akime replied and they finish their breakfast.

"Okay then I'm leaving, since I have some urgent matters to finish. Do contact me if anything needed" he says while leaving.

It was quite in the study room, only the flipping sound of the pages can be heard throughout the room.

'While I have free time, I need to gain more knowledge about Alice' Akime thought while reading the book while contains details of Alices throughout the world.

'Alices : An ability or power that's unique depending on individual being'

'Alices have four forms

First Form : The first form only works during Alices childhood.

Second Form : Has little power but lasts for a long time.

Third Form : The Power may be explosive, but it's life span is very short.

Fourth Form : Power don't have limit, but everytime it's used it harms the user'

'I already know all these' Akime thought while going to the next page.

'There are different types of Alices from rarest to the dangerous, for ex. Fire, Water, Soul Sucking (manipulating), Element, Copying, Erasing, etc.'

Akime continues to read the book till a knock interrupted her.

"Young Miss, the Lunch is ready" a maid informs her while bowing.

"Okay, I'll be there" Akime nods while answering.

'Well it's enough for today, I guess' Akime thought while stretching her arms.

"Sister! Sister! You came back!" A boy who has the same hair color but the colour of his eyes are different which are brown exclaimed while running towards Akime who was calmly sitting on the couch in the living room.

"Yes, Taki. How have you been?" Akime asks while getting up.

"I have missed you, Sister!" Taki who is around 11 year old cries and hugs Akime.

"I have missed you too, my dear little brother" Akime says and pats his back.

While the reunion of brother and sister continues the father comes by and smiles while looking at both of them, sensing that someone is watching them, both looking at the direction of their father and greeted "Good Evening, Pa"

"Good evening to you too" the father smiles while greeting and the family of three continued to chat happily.

Soon the night fell..

Akime who has finished her bath and changed into her pajamas walks back and forth in her room

'I have troubled Pa yesterday, I couldn't bear to trouble him again today too'

'Well the only thing which I can think of is this' she walks to her window; opens it and jumps outside and swiftly lands onto the nearest tree branch

'Hmm, that was easy. Now let's go' she quickly leaps from one tree branch to other and stops at a certain place and quickly gets herself down

In front of her was a water fountain and a Sakura tree near to it. The atmosphere was quite and peaceful too.

'This is the best place to relax yourself' She thought while sitting under the Sakura tree and closing her eyes..

'Arghnnn...' Akime grunts in her sleep and squeezes her eyes shut

"No... Don't.." she mumbles in her sleep while shaking her head and curls herself like a baby.

In her dream, she can see herself hugging a little boy close who is around 5 years old and is surrounded by a group of men who wore black suits.

Her eyes shots open and she touches her forehead which is full of sweat while panting 'Damn it! Not this again!' she looks at her surroundings and notices it's already morning and the sun is about to rise

'Well, need to get inside before anyone notices' with this thought in mind she walks her way back home

As soon as she enters the living room she finds her father sitting on one of the couches

"Where have you been?" her father asks

"... went to have a morning walk" Akime replies quietly and looks at her father who sighs

"Okay but do inform next time when you go outside" her father replies

"Okay, Pa" Akime replies

The breakfast has been prepared and served, the family of three sat at the dinning table and are having breakfast

"Since Taki is here, why don't you guys go out for shopping" Father says while looking at the two who were chatting with each other

"Yes! We should do that, Sister!" Taki adds in

Akime thinks for a while and nods "It's not a bad idea, I guess"

"it's settled then, I'll ask the butler to prepare the car as well as the driver to accompany you guys" Father replies while smiling

"Chairmen, we have to leave now or else we might be late for the board meeting" Father's Secretary comes in and says while bowing

"Okay" Father replies "Alright you two, I'll have to go now. Have a great day ahead" He says while leaving

Taki and Akime where sitting in the living room dressed up to go for shopping. Akime wears a long floral frock which reaches to her knees and her brown hair which are short were properly braided while Taki wears a plain hoodie with a pair of shorts.

A short knock can be heard followed by a butler who bows and says "Young Master and Miss the car is ready"

"Okay" Akime says and walks out followed by Taki and both of them enter the car at the back seat.

After few hours the car stops at a certain mall which is totally owned by Akime's family "You can leave now and come back exactly after three hours to pick us up" Akime says while getting down

The chauffeur refuses "Young Miss, I have been given orders to follow you two, I can't disobey it" 'or Master will chop my head off'

"There is no need for you to follow us, if you are worried about father I'll talk with him" Akime reassures

"But stil-" the chauffeur got cut off in the middle by Akime, Akime who gets frustrated by the continuous refusal gives a sudden blow "So you are saying you can't disobey my father's orders but can disobey mine?" she glares at him 'I came here to spend quality time with my brother and don't want anyone to follow us around' she adds in while giving a chilly glare "Are you looking down on me?"

The chauffeur glumps at the chilly glare 'its better to chop my head off then face Young Miss wrath' "A-alright, Young Miss. I'll come back after three hours" he says and retreats himself

"Sis, you should teach me how to get rid off these people in the future. They always follow me around when you're not here and I couldn't get any private space because of them" Taki complains

"It's going to hard if you want to learn it, are you up for it?" Akime questions with a slight smile

"Yes. I'm please teach me sister" Taki replies confidently

Akime laughs and replies "Alright, Alright. I will teach you"

Taki holds her hand and pulls her towards the mall "What are you waiting for Sis? Let's get in" Being pulled by Taki, Akime follows him in

Since the mall where they are is considered one of the top malls in the location it consists off all kinds of shops and it also have a game area along with a cinema hall.

"Taki, what do you want to do first?"

"Hmmm.. why don't we go and watch a movie first?" Taki replies while pointing at the direction of the cinema hall

"Cinema..? If that is what you want to do then.. Okay" Akime sighs and replies 'I really hate going to cinemas but if this is what Taki wants to do, then I have to endure it for a while.. I guess'

"Yay! The let's go" Taki says and pulls her towards the ticket counter to purchase tickets

After the movie is finished, Akime and Taki went to the gaming area. They have played mostly all the games in it.

After the gaming they both went to do some shopping. Akime mostly purchased for Taki and when Taki realised it he insisted her to purchase for herself now not for him, so in this way they have purchased number of items and the shopping bags they have carried increased.

With so much shopping and walking around they both got hungry so they decided to go to cafeteria which is located at the top floor and ordered food.

After some time the food they have ordered arrived and they proceed to eat, Akime finishes first and excuses herself to restroom.

After using the restroom, Akime walks outside but collides into someone who is coming from opposite direction and closes her eyes thinking 'Damn it! it's public place and I can't do anything here..' anticipating she will hit the floor anytime due to the collision but instead she feels her left arm being pulled while an arm encircles around her waist and collides into something hard

'...! What the...?!' Akime opens her eyes slowly and comes to realise that a teenage boy had pulled her and she has collided into his chest 'Arghhh.. how embarassing' she can feel her cheeks getting hot and pulls herself away from him

The boy in question looks at Akime and asks "Are you alright?"

Akime looks straight at him and realises he's quite handsome. The man has dark brownish hair with a pair of brown eyes, he has a perfectly sculptured face with a well built body along with a strong aura around him. By the looks of it he's around the same age as her and currently wearing casual clothes which shows cool side of him.

Akime snaps out of her thoughts "..Yes, I'm and thank you.." she says while giving a small bow and leaves hurriedly without looking back

The man stands quietly and looks at the back of the girl who is leaving

"Sachihiro! there you are, we are searching for you everywhere" one of his friends calls him while running towards him

"Hm, who is that girl from before? Do you know her?" Takumi questions

Sachihiro shrugs his shoulders "Just a passerby" and looks at the girl who just turned around the corner

"Man, she's pretty and as far as I know I haven't seen her here before. I wonder who she is" Takumi says while going back

'...I wonder too'

Akime hurriedly goes back to Taki and sits down at her seat 'Phew.. that was close. Who is he anyway? I haven't asked him to help me. Is he one of the person who is following us? Who might he be? Arghh...!'

Akime sees that Taki has finished eating and there are some pieces of food sticking around his mouth, she smiles and takes out a tissue to wipe his mouth "You are still a kid" she teases him while doing

"Hmph! I'm not!" Taki pouts

"Yes, Yes" Akime says still smiling

"Since we are done, shall we go back?" Akime suggests

"We still have so many things to do, Sis. We can't go now! Please let's play a little bit more?" Taki asks while looking at Akime with puppy eyes

'Arghhh..! not this again?! if he shows this face I can't say no to him' Akime looks away while fighting hard not to see his face and fall for his trick

"Please, Sis. Pretty Please..??" Taki insists again

Akime shuts her eyes and takes a deep breath "Taki, I told the chauffeur we will come by three hours but it is past the time now, if we stay any longer I don't know what will happen. So, please understand my dear brother" Akime says trying to sound as soft as possible

"Sis, only 30 more minutes. It's been so many years since we have came outside to play. It's a rare opportunity and I want to go ice skating with you, please?" Taki still insists

Akime sighs '...I can't say no to him now' "Alright, Only Ice skating right? nothing more and nothing less, okay?" She reconfirms

"Yes" Taki beams and they both leave to the ice skating area, before leaving Akime didn't forget to send a message to the chauffeur stating they will be late by another hour.

At the skating arena, both siblings were already inside the skating arena and Akime is assisting Taki in learning how to skate.

"Taki, maintain balance" she says while holding both of Taki's hands in hers.

After a few minutes of guidance from his sister Taki can able to skate freely and now both siblings are having a good time inside the arena, unknown to them a pair of eyes has been watching every move they have been doing since morning.

After the ice skating both siblings left the mall and are waiting at the entrance while holding their shopping bags. In a few seconds their car comes to halt infront of them and the chauffeur take the shopping bags to place them inside the car trunk, after doing so he opens the car back door and bows at the siblings who nods at him and enters the car back seat.

After they both gets seated, the chauffeur closes the door to return to his seat and drives off.
