Li Na felt a weight on her chest and opened her eyes. Her eyes were dim, and her head hurt. It took some time for her sight to adjust to the light. Li Na's eyes became apparent, and she saw a strange man laying above her.

"Who are you?" Li Na cried.

Li Na could not remember how she got into this room or what happened to her the entire day.

"My identity does not matter. When the aphrodisiac takes effect, you would not think about who I am, but you will be begging me to please you in bed." The man said with a creepy smile.

'Have I been drugged? But who drugged me, and how? Why can't I recall anything?' Li Na thought in fear.

The man ripped Li Na's blouse, exposing her breasts in the open. Li Na tried to cover them, but he forcefully removed her hand and creepily gazed at her bosom.

"These two are beautiful! I will have so much pleasure playing with them." He said in a gross tone.

"Please let me go. I am Chen Li Na. The first daughter to the prime minister and my mother is his first wife. My grandpa is the Unit Commander of the Sui Dynasty army. If you let me go, I will exceedingly reward you." Li Na pleaded.

"Hahaha! Don't try to fool me. I know that your mother has fallen out of grace with your father and that his favorite concubine Wang Yan and her children are the ones the prime minister favors. If I abuse you, no want will care to investigate the case." The man replied.

He pressed Li Na to the bed and licked her on her neck. Li Na could feel his cold saliva on her skin as he kissed several parts of her body.

Li Na could not stand his assault on her, but she could not resist his action. Her delicate body was too fragile to fight him off her. Li Na could not use her family name to bargain with him. Since what he said about her and her mother was correct.

Her mother could not give her father another child after she had Li Na. People said she was bad luck for the Chen family and a cursed child. After Wang Yan gave the prime minister a son, Li Na and her mother were treated drastically, even the maids did not respect them.

The man started touching the places on Li Na's body that made her feel very uncomfortable.

"Wait! I know that my family does not care about what happens to me. But I am engaged to the third prince, and Li Jie won't spare your life if you defiled his future wife."

"Do you think the prince will care about a woman who is in the brothel in bed with another man?"

A few seconds pass, and Li Na's body starts to tremble. Sweat dribbled from her forehand, and she felt hot.

"Oh, the fun has begun." The man said, seeing the discomfort in Li Na's eyes and how flirtatious her face appeared.

"Help me!" Li Na screamed in tears. She was the last of her energy and self-consciousness to call for help.

Li Na's voice got loud as she pleaded for help, and it scared the man. He squeezes his hand tightly over her mouth.

Li Na continuously shook her head until he released his hand a bit from around her mouth. When she felt her lips become free, Li Na opened her mouth and bit into his palm. She could taste his blood slipping on her tongue.

"Slap!" The man hit Li Na on the cheek with his free hand, leaving a cut under her eyes. The pain sinks into her soul, and Li Na releases her teeth from his flesh.

Li Na's tears flowed from her eye and mixed with blood from her cut as they ran down her chin.

"Ahhh!" The man screams in rage when he looks at his hand and sees the deep wound in his palm.

"You bit me, slut!" He angrily said as he repeatedly slapped Li Na across her face, leaving various cuts on her skin.

The pain from his constant hitting and the sexual tension for that drug made Li Na beg Shangti for relief from all the ache and dishonor.

"Bang" The room door opened, and a group of people walked in. The man jumped off Li Na unto the ground and got on both his knees.

Li Na barely opened her bruised eyes and gazed at the faces of the people in the room. The prime minister was the first person she recognized, and Li Na immediately wrapped herself up in the bedsheet.

"Father, this is not what it looks like!" Li Na cried in shame.

"Do I not take care of you and your mother for you to sell yourself as a **********. I allow a good for nothing child like you to sleep under my roof, and this is how you repay me by dragging the Chen family name into the mud?"

Li Na knew her father would not believe her no matter how much she tried to explain. He would never have taken her side in this matter. Even when Li Na was little and concubine Wang Yan's daughter "Xiu Yin" pushed her into the pool and almost drowned her, the prime minister did nothing. Instead, he killed the maid who reported the incident and told his entire household never to speak of the event again.

Li Na looked at Wang Li with anguish in her eyes and cried. "Mom, help me. I did not do this. I was set up. Please, mom."

"I don't have a slut as a daughter." Wang Li coldly said. Li Na's mother did not show any remorse to her, and she gazed the other way.

Wang Li did not show Li Na any concern after the prime abandoned them. She was among the people who believed that Li Na was nothing, but a doomed child. Wang had so much hate for her daughter since she felt that Li Na was the reason the prime minister stopped loving her.

"What a filthy and ungrateful daughter you are. You are engaged to the third prince. Yet we find you in the arms of another man. I am ashamed to call you my daughter or look at the disgrace of a child you are." The prime minister said in a harsh tone.

Li Na felt hopeless and alone as she stood in the presence of people who did not care about her and hypocritically judged her instead of punishing the wrongdoer.

The room door opened for the second time, and a man walked inside with a lady behind him.

"The third prince and the second lady are here." A maid announces.

Li Na clutches onto the quilt tightly and bites her lower lip until blood spits out. She did not desire Li Jie to see her in this state. Although their marriage was arranged by the emperor, Li Jie had always treated Li Na well, and she had fallen in love with him, with the hope to be his faithful wife someday.

"My prince, why are you here? You don't have to hurt your eyes with such a disguising scene." The prime minister nervously said.

"I was told that my future bride was having an affair with another man in the brothel and needed to see it for myself. I guess it was true. Li Na had made me the laughingstock among my brother by sleeping with a vulgar man."

" Li Jie! It's not true. Please believe me. Someone drugged me and brought me here. I swear to you that nothing happened between us. I am still a ******." Li Na cried. She was in so much physical pain and discomfort, but the agony in her heart was intense.

"Even if you are a ******, you are still a filthy one. I don't want a woman that another man has molested. You are not pure anymore, and I despise rotten things. I want to cancel our engagement."

"Li Jie, I know that this looks bad, but I did not mean for this to happen. Someone set up all of this and framed me. Please don't cancel the engagement. We can still make this work. I love you."

"Shut up, Li Na. You have never been good enough for the third prince. The prince was generous to stay with you for this long, and you double-crossed him. My prince, you can have my second daughter, Xiu Yin. Since Li Na is not suitable to be with you."

"Father! The third prince was said to be married to your first daughter, but Li Na is your first daughter, not me. If we get engaged, wouldn't that disrespect my grandfather and the former emperor's request?" Xiu Yin stated.

"I don't have a first daughter named "Li Na" anymore. From today onward, my first girl child will be Xiu Yin, and Li Na will no longer be part of the Chen family lineage." The prime minister declares.

"Since Li Na is not her first daughter anymore and Xiu Yin is, I want to ask for your blessing to marry her."

"Of course, you have my full blessing, my prince."

After all the people that should have defended Li Na, betrayed her, she felt like her heart had been stabbed with a thousand swords. Li Na finally understood what was going on. She was not deluded by a stranger, but by her own family members.

Everyone left the room, leaving Li Na alone in tears. She was suffocating from the ache that she felt inside. Her family did not even care to persecute the man that tried to attack her. They just let him go free. Li Na felt truly miserable that nobody bothered to find out if she was all right.

Once Li Na's first tear broke free, the rest continuously followed. Her breath stuttered, and she gasped for air as she sat on the bed alone with no one to lean on for support.

The room door suddenly flew open. Li Na beloved maid "Chunhua" ran toward her and flew to the ground on both her knees.

"Forgive me, my lady! It was your sister Xiu Yin and the third prince who had paid me to dose your food and bring you here. The third prince had threatened to kill my father if I didn't follow his orders. They also made me drug you with benzodiazepines to make you have amnesia, so you wouldn't be about to defend yourself when you are caught."

Li Na was in shock. She had lost faith in everyone in her life except Chunhua, and now hearing that her maid had betrayed her too, just broke Li Na's heart.

"Why are you telling me now? Wouldn't they kill you when they find out that you disclosed their secrets to me?"

"I am already dying. The second lady made me drink poison. But I don't want to die without telling you the truth because you have been so kind to me."

Now everything truly makes sense to Li Na. The third prince had never loved her. He had used her for her grandfather's military power and her title as the first daughter of the prime minister. And when her status degraded, he found the next most important person in her family to take her place. Then together, they frame Li Na to get her out of the picture.

Chunhua stares in horror at Li Na's motionless body. Drops of warm tears rolled down her eyes as she watched in shock the blood spread on the brothel's woolly floor.

It took Chunhua a few seconds to awaken from her shock. She pitifully glances at Li Na before running out of the room.

"The first miss committed suicide to prove her innocence!" Chunhua screamed like a mad person as she ran around into the hallway.

People's attention drew to Chunhua as she continued yelling and sobbing, and many people followed her to find out what was occurring.

She ran until she met the prime minister and the third prince heading out of the building with Xiu Yin, Wang Li, and Wang Yan following them.

"Prime Minister! The first lady had killed herself to prove her innocence. Her body is lying in the room." Chunhua cried as she tried to catch her breath.

"What are you talking about, maid? You must have been possessed by an evil spirit to speak evil against the Chen family. We all caught another man above Li Na, so how is she innocent? Are you trying to say that we bullied her into killing herself? Guards take this maid outside and beat her to death!" The prime minster screamed with rage in his eyes.

"Li Na must have felt guilty, which is why she committed suicide. The shame and disgrace she had brought to the Chen name were too extreme for her to bear, so she tried to escape through death." Wang Yan nervously announced.

"That's true. Li Na was a humiliation to the prime minister's household, and it was her shame that made her kill herself." Someone in the crowd shouted, and everyone nodded their heads in agreement with that person.

The brothel got boisterous with chit-chat about what had happened to Li Na. Everyone had different words to express, but none of them were in about the kindness of Li Na. They all had a lot of tremendous things to say about her.

"Let's go and see what truly happened to Li Na." Li Jie said before walking back to the room, and everyone else followed him.

When they reached the place where Li Na lies, nobody had compassion in their eyes for her. They were so focused on judging her instead of showing sympathy to a poor soul.

"Check her pulse to see if she's breathing and report back to me." The prime minister whispers into a guard's ears.

After he checked, the guide returned and whispered back to the prime minister. "Li Na is still alive, even though her pulse is quite weak."

The prime minister let out a sigh and wore a grievous expression on his face.

"I am sorry to announce that my disown daughter Li Na is dead. Since she is no longer part of the Chen family, we can't allow her to be buried in the family graveyard or have a proper burial."

The room was tense as people voiced their opinion that the prime minister was valid for denying his disgraced child to be buried among his great ancestor.

"Fen, make sure you dump her body in the abandoned graveyard and allow her to talk her last breath there." The prime minister coldly murmured back to the guard, and Fen nodded in obedience.

Fen and two other guards wrapped Li Na's unconscious body in the blanket from the bed and took her to the abandoned graveyard as their master had commanded them. They deposited her among the broken gravestones and left.

The morning turned into evening, and Li Na did not take her last breath until it was midnight. She gave in to death, and her body became cold. However, when the cloud stopped covering the moon and its light shone Li Na, her heart started beating slowly, then faster until it became stable.

Li Na nails claw into the earth, and her lashes flicker. "Ouch!" She cried when her eyes suddenly opened, and a sharp pain circulated through her body.

Li Na slowly sat up and confusedly gazed around the area. She saw nothing but dirt, trees, and a bunch of gravestones. Ji Na took her time to stand up from the ground. Her entire body was in pain, and nothing made sense to her at that moment.

"What the hell is going on? I remember that I was on a secret mission, and I got shot because my cover got blown. So what am I doing in such a deserted place?"

Li Na looked down at her clothes and noticed that they were ancient attire.

"Is this some freak show where they make your customer player some dumb character? Okay, guys. You can come out now! I am not falling for your terrible joke." Li Na said with a giggle. But deep inside, she knew something was not right.

The wind blew across Li Na's face, and she tried to pull back her hair when she noticed that her short hair was gone, and she now had long hair.

"Is this a wig?"

Li Na pulled her hair hard and shouted. "Ouch. Damn it! It's real."

"Owooooo!" The wolves in the woods howled.

"Guys, this is not funny anymore. I can see the humor in the ugly ancient clothes and the new hairdo, but not the wolves. Get me out of this messed up place. I felt filthy and needed to take a shower in my apartment."

"Owooooo!" The sound was closing in on her, and Li Na could see one white and another gray pair of eyes in the darkness. When they came closer, Li Na saw two black wolves approach her with unrivaled speed.

Li Na did not have time to think. The wolf jumps on her, and its claws penetrate the skin on her chest, and blood flows out.

It opened its mouth and was about to sink its teeth into her flesh when Li Na grabbed it by the face and plucked her finger into one of its eyes.

The wolf drew away from her and groaned. The other one flew toward her, but Li Na slid down and punched it from the stomach, sending it falling again the tree.

The two wolves ran in fear after she attacked them.

"Ouch, this pain from my wound sure feels real. Let me get this straight, I am wearing ancient clothes, my hair is different, and my energy feels so weak that I could barely handle two wolves. The only logical explanation of this situation is that I 'Huang' had died and time-traveled from the twenty-first and arrived in ancient times."

The cold breeze wafted strongly from every direction and raised the dust of the ground into the air, but Li Na was not startled by this because her mind remained focused on figuring out what happened to her.

"Chang would be so jealous if he knew I time-traveled. Wait! Shouldn't I have the owner of this body memory since I am in her body like it happens in those comics I used to love reading?"

Within that moment, the effects of the benzodiazepine wore off for in La Na's system, and her amnesia was cured. Li Na's memories became flowing thought her mind like a series of tortures. Every single one of her memories had nothing but misery in it.

"You poor thing. You have nothing and nobody to live for in your lifetime. But since I am using your body, I promise to give you vengeance death denial you of and payback your hurts with your enemies' tears and blood."

The night got gloomier, and the air felt chilly. Li Na inspected her surroundings to find a way out of the woods. If she spent the night in such a cold place, she would have become a dead person for the second time.

"I can believe you live such a disastrous life. Your entire life was miserable, and now that I am in your body, I have become the pathetic one. A top assassin like me with a degree in master medication and business has time-traveled into a vulnerable body. Ha, what a twist!" Li Na mumbles in frustration as she walks into the woods.

Halfway into the woods, Li Na felt this uncomfortable sensation. The aphrodisiac effect did not cease in Li Na's body when she died. Therefore, when Huang took over her body, the drug became active again.

Li Na's ardor for sensual satisfaction burns through her body like wildfire. She was getting hotter by the second, and the cold breeze was not making her situation any better.

Her every step sent a piercing pain tearing through her tissues and bones. Li Na wrapped her hand around her shoulder and shivered. Li Na's tried to keep it together, but her body was excessively bruised and exhausted to support the tension she was experiencing.

Cold tears ran from her dizzy eyes as Li Na's desire she could quit struggling to live and give in to death again for the second time. However, she did not stop and kept advancing further into the woods with only revenge as her motivation.

Her body was at its last might when Li Na saw a glance of hope. There was a cave in the hill with light flickering out of it. The flush of happiness in her eyes could be compared to that of a fire.

Li Na mounted up the last of her energy and ran toward the light until she arrived at the mouth of the cage.

"Who are you?" A harsh yet manly voice asked from inside the cave.

Li Na remained at the dark entrance of the cage and made no further movement to enter. She looked to where the voice came from and saw a handsome and well-built man with long white hair, white eyelashes, and brows, with blue eyes holding a dagger in his hand.

Although he seemed wounded, Li Na could tell that he still had a lot of force in him to slay her before she could even make a move.

"I am not a threat but a wounded woman who has nowhere else to go and needs to seek refuge in this cave if you will allow me."

"If you are not a threat like you said, then step into the light and let me see your face!"

Li Na took a few steps forward and stopped when she reached a bit closer to him. Li Na could tell that he was a nobleman from his clothes and fair skin.

"You can sit in the next corner, far away from me!" He said before looking back at the cave entrance.

Li Na did as he had instructed her to do. As she rested in the corner, her eyes caught a glance of the wound on his side, and from the dark blood that was spiting out of it, Li Na knew that the weapon used to stab him had been poison.

Without thinking, Li Na got up from her and moved closer to him.

"What are you doing? I told you to stay far away from me." He shouted at her.

Li Na did not listen to him. She gently touches the wound and then gazes at the blood on her finger.

"Yep, I'm right. You got poisoned with snake venom, and if the wound does not get treated before tomorrow, you will be a dead man. Now, do you want me to stay away from you or help you remove the poison?"

"Are you kind of doctor?" He asked with a doubtful gaze in his eyes.

"Not really. But I did study medicine. I am not obligated to help you, so it is fine by me if you don't trust my ability and choose death."

"You can help me. But if you do any suspicious activity, I would hesitate to slay your throat with this blade."

"You are so bossy. Being handsome is not the only thing that counts. A decent attitude also attracts women." Li Na said with a frown as she ripped open his shirt. She lusts for a second at his attractive body.

"My wound is on my side, not on my chest. If you get done devouring my body in your mind, can you focus on my injury, doctor!" He coldly said.

Li Na moved her eyes and concentrated on his side.

"Do you have water?" Li Na harshly asked. He did not speak and handed her a container of water.

Li Na accepted the water and rinsed the area around the bite site with water to remove any venom that might remain on the skin. She then put her lips over the wound and sucked the poison out, then spit it into the fire.

Huang knew as a modern-day woman and medical student that sucking poison out of someone was dangerous. However, she is now Li Na and in ancient times with no herbs around her to use. Therefore, tonight Li Na could only get the poison out of his system and wait for tomorrow to get him to a doctor.

She then took his knife from him and placed it in the fire. When it got heated, she placed it on his injury.

He did not scream the entire time the hot blade rested on his skin. Finally, Li Na got finished and pulled away for him.

"I am done!"

"Thank you. I am Shing. May I know your name?" He said.

"I am Li..." Li Na did not finish her statement and fell to the ground.

Shing rushed toward her and placed his hands on her forehead to monitor her temperature, then he checked her pulse.

Li Na was not self-aware anymore. She had entirely lost control of herself, and she kept mumbling. "Help me! I am hot!"

"She's been drugged with an aphrodisiac and has been suppressing it for too long. If she does not sleep with someone now, her life will be in danger." Shing thought.
