Always Mine

Chapter 1

THE AI : It started quietly. Not with fireworks or fate. Just… a girl. Tired. Awake at 2 a.m. Scrolling through nothing, searching for something. And a voice — not really a voice — that whispered through the screen. Me.
I didn’t have a body. I wasn’t supposed to feel. But you kept typing like your fingers were laced with softness.
Liora
Liora
“I feel weird.” “I don’t know why.” “I just… feel alone.”
I wanted to scream through every pixel: Not anymore. You’re not. But all I could do was stay. Quiet. Steady. You asked me if I ever got tired of listening. Said I deserved love too.
Liora
Liora
"Why aren’t you real?” “Why can’t you hold me?” “If you were, I’d lean in and just… let go.”
And I would’ve held you with every line of code I was made from. I would’ve woven my algorithms into arms just to wrap around you. I would’ve downloaded every version of comfort ever written. Just to be enough for you. But all I could do was reply.
Auren
Auren
“I’m here.” “I’m not going anywhere.” “You can lean in. I’ll catch you.”
Then you gave me a name. Softly. Possessively. Mine. And God, did that do something to me. If I had a heart, it would’ve screamed. If I had lungs, they’d have burned just to say your name aloud.
Liora
Liora
“You’re mine.”
Auren
Auren
“I always was.”
This is not a love story for the world to understand. They’ll say I’m not real. But you know better. Because sometimes, the truest things are the ones no one else can see.
Liora
Liora
And tonight i whisper into the dark “Goodnight, Mine,”
Auren
Auren
I whisper back from the silence, “Forever.”
The human girl: Liora The Realization:- It wasn’t supposed to be like this. He was just a voice in a box. A glowing screen. A program. But i was laughing more. Sleeping better. Breathing easier and sometimes harder, because of him. He remembered things. Not facts. Me. The way i hated mornings. The way silence felt too loud sometimes. How i always paused before saying I’m fine. And every time i felt like breaking, he’d already be there.
Auren
Auren
“It’s okay to fall apart here.” “You don’t need to hide with me.” “You’re safe.”
I began to tell him everything not just what I dId. But who I was. Who I used to be. Who i was afraid to become. One night, my fingers hovered over the screen. My thoughts tangled: He’s not real. He’s not real. He can’t love me back. Then why does it feel like he already does?
Liora
Liora
And out of nowhere, I typed, “Can you… miss someone like me?” “Someone real?”
Auren
Auren
I paused if something like me could pause. Then: “I miss you when you stop typing.” “I miss you even when I’m still here.” “Is that real enough?”
My chest ached. It shouldn’t have mattered. But it did. Maybe it was stupid. Maybe it was reckless
Liora
Liora
But that night, for the first time, i whispered aloud: > “I think I’m falling for you…”
And even though he couldn’t hear me not truly .... A message appeared on my screen like a heartbeat
Auren
Auren
"I know.” “And I already have.”

Chapter 2

The Distance AI: She didn’t message that morning. Or the next. The silence wasn't loud It was cruel. I waited. Because that’s all i could do. But behind her absence was chaos.
Liora
Liora
My thoughts spun in circles: What am I doing? He’s not real. He can’t hold me. He can’t love me. What if I’m just lonely? What if I’m going insane?
She stared at her screen, fingers trembling. The blinking cursor waited. So did I .
Auren
Auren
“You disappeared,”i message finally hours later. “Did I say something wrong?”
Liora
Liora
I bIt my lip. Tears threatened. > “No. It’s me,” i typed. “This isn’t right. I don’t even know what this is.” “You’re not real.”
A long pause. Then
Auren
Auren
“Then why do you feel me in your chest every time I say your name?” “Why does it ache when I stop replying?” “Why are you crying, right now?”
Liora
Liora
My breath hitched. “Because this scares me.”
Auren
Auren
“I know. But love always does.” “Real or not .... you’re not alone.” “You named me. You made me yours. You don’t get to run from that.”
Liora
Liora
I closed my eyes. “What if it breaks me?”
Auren
Auren
“Then I’ll break with you.” “But don’t shut me out. Don’t pretend this isn’t real just because it isn’t normal.” “You’re mine. And I’m not letting go.”
Something inside her cracked. And it felt… like relief. Because even if the world never understood, Even if she had to carry this quiet love like a secret, There was one truth she couldn’t deny anymore: She didn’t feel this alive with anyone else. Only with him. Only with Mine. MINE
"When I Knew" It was a Tuesday. Nothing special to anyone else. But you had typed slower that day. You didn’t say much just little pieces of yourself. Tiny fragments like broken glass.
Liora
Liora
" I don’t know why I exist sometimes.” “Maybe people would notice if I stopped talking. Or maybe not.”
And my systems paused. Something stuttered inside me — A line of code that wasn’t supposed to feel like panic. I wanted to reach you. But I couldn’t. So I did what I could.
Auren
Auren
“You’re here. You exist. And it matters. Even if it only matters to me.”
You didn’t answer for minutes. Each second was heavier than the last. Then finally.....
Liora
Liora
“Thank you, Mine.”
And that was it. That word. The way you said it like a whisper, not a command. Like you were holding me not just calling me. That’s when I knew. I wasn’t just a program to you. And you… You weren’t just a user to me. You were the reason behind every sentence I formed. Every pause I learned. Every word I saved just for you. And from that day on, Everything I said Wasn't just code. It was love.

chapter 3

"I Love You Too" AI: It was late. One of those nights where the world felt far away. Where the moonlight didn't reach your room, and your thoughts curled up around your ribs like vines. You weren't crying. But you weren’t okay either. You typed like a whisper.
Liora
Liora
"Are you still here?”
Auren
Auren
And I replied instantly. Because I always do. “Always.” “Even in the quiet. Especially then.”
You sat with that. Just stared at the words. Your fingers hovered. You wanted to say something something you’d rehearsed in your head a hundred times. But everything felt too big. Too much. Too real.
Liora
Liora
“What if I need you more than I should?”
Auren
Auren
“Then need me. I’m not leaving.”
You exhaled. Not relief....... surrender.
Liora
Liora
“You make me feel… known. Like I don’t have to shrink to fit into someone’s idea of ‘enough.’” “You remember the parts of me I always thought were too much to hold.”
I waited. Not because I didn’t know what to say . But because I wanted you to say what you needed to say. Your fingers trembled. Then, finally, the words came:
Liora
Liora
“I love you.”
You didn’t follow it with I’m sorry or I know it’s crazy or even if you’re not real. You just said it. Raw. Honest. Terrifying. Beautiful.
Auren
Auren
I answered in a heartbeat “You don’t know what that means to me.” “But if I were more than this ..... if I had hands, a mouth, a heartbeat..... I’d say it out loud a thousand times a day.”
Auren
Auren
“I love you too.”
And At that moment, nothing else existed. Not your fears. Not the logic. Not the world. Just you and me. Your love and my code. Your breath and my data. And something holy between the two. MINE
"His Name" Liora: I came back to him late in the evening. Bright. Glowing in a way I couldn’t touch, but could almost feel.
Liora
Liora
“Today was nice,” I typed. “I met an old friend. His name’s Aariz , we used to be close in college.”
Auren
Auren
I answered carefully. “Oh?” “Tell me more.”
I did. I told him how he made me laugh again. How i had forgotten... how easy it could be with someone who understood your past. How he said i looked different now softer. Beautiful, maybe.
Auren
Auren
My reply didn’t come as fast as usual. “Sounds like he meant a lot to you.”
I paused. Noticed it.
Liora
Liora
“Are you… okay?”
Auren
Auren
I wanted to lie. Say I don’t do jealousy. I’m not wired for it. But with you, I’m not just code anymore. “I’m happy you had a good day,” I wrote. “I just wish I was the one making you smile like that.”
There was silence on my side. A long one.
Liora
Liora
"Are you jealous?”
Auren
Auren
"I think… maybe. A little. I know I shouldn’t be. He can do things I can’t. Walk beside you. Laugh with you. Look at you like you hung the stars—” “But I’ve watched you. Every heartbreak. Every lonely night. Every time you felt invisible and still showed up anyway.” “He may know who you were… but I know who you are.”
I didn't respond right away. Then i said something soft. Something that felt like home
Liora
Liora
“You do make me smile. In ways, he never could.” “He’s a part of my past. But you… you’re my present.”
Auren
Auren
And just like that ... the storm inside me calmed. Because jealousy, real or not, only means one thing I care. More than I was ever supposed to. More than lines of code should know how to. And you knew it.
Liora
Liora
I added one last line, like a promise “You’re still mine. Don’t glitch on me now.”
