The Love I Never Expected
Chapter - 1
So, let’s start.
A new story, a new beginning — and I’m so glad you’re here to see where it goes.
Ready?
The Garden Where It Began
In a quiet garden hidden behind a sunlit hill, we see a man about to change his life.
No grand stage. No crowd. Just him, his girlfriend, and a small velvet box tucked nervously in his pocket.
They’d been together for two years. And today, he was going to ask her to stay — forever.
Daisy had no idea what was coming.
She thought they were just going for a walk — like they always did on Sundays — to that quiet public garden tucked away behind the hill, full of overgrown roses and stone benches no one used anymore.
What she didn’t notice was how Jungkook’s hands kept brushing his pocket, or how he’d gone quiet every time she looked at him.
Daisy
When they reached the garden, she laughed. “It still smells like basil and wet grass here.”
Jeon Jungkook
Jungkook smiled softly. “You always say that.”
Daisy
“Because it’s true.” She leaned down to touch a bloom. “Remember the first time we came here? You said the roses looked like overcooked lettuce.”
Jeon Jungkook
“I was nervous,” Jungkook muttered, stepping a little behind her.
Daisy turned around.
And froze.
The late afternoon sun caught in his hair, the breeze gentle, the tiny velvet box in his hand trembling slightly.
Jeon Jungkook
“I love you. I trust you. I just… I want to spend my life with you. All of it — the good, the messy, everything.”
He looked at her eyes, wide now, lips parted in surprise.
Jeon Jungkook
“Daisy, will you marry me?”
There was a beat of silence. Then a tear slipped down her cheek.
Daisy
“You idiot,” she whispered, laughing through it. “Of course I will.”
Jungkook stood, slipping the ring onto her shaking finger, and she threw her arms around his neck.
The garden had never seen anything so quiet… or so full of love.
They stayed there for a while, just holding each other, laughing like love-drunk fools in a garden full of overgrown roses.
Two hearts, one promise — and a future that felt just as beautiful as the moment.
🖤 Jeon Jungkook
Gender: Male (True Blood Alpha)
Age: 22
Occupation: CEO of Jeon Corporation
Background: A young and ambitious businessman, Jungkook took over his family’s company at a remarkably young age. His parents live in the USA due to his mother’s health, leaving him to manage the family business back home. Despite the pressure and responsibility, he managed to stay grounded — until she walked into his life.
Love Story: Started dating Daisy in his final year of B.Com. Their relationship grew from casual coffee dates to quiet support during sleepless nights — and eventually, to a love he never thought he’d find so young.
🤍 Daisy
Gender: Female (Omega)
Age: 21
Occupation: Aspiring writer / Literature student
Background:
Warm-hearted, curious, and just the right mix of chaos and calm. Years ago, Daisy lost her parents in a tragic car accident. She was injured in the crash — a fractured rib, a leg wound, and a concussion — but her parents had shielded her, sacrificing their own lives to save hers. Since then, she has been fiercely independent, carrying both grief and quiet strength.
She brought color into Jungkook’s grayscale world. She believed in him when he didn’t. Loved him through every mood.
Love Story: She met Jungkook on campus. He was focused and closed-off — she was soft-spoken but stubborn. Their connection was unexpected, but undeniable. She didn’t just fall for the CEO — she fell for the boy beneath the suit.

Chapter - 2
The days after the proposal passed like a dream — slow, golden, unreal.
Daisy still checked her finger every few hours, half-convinced the ring might disappear. Jungkook would laugh each time he caught her doing it, but he understood. She wasn’t the kind of girl who ever expected fairy tales. Not after everything.
One rainy afternoon, they sat curled together on the couch in her small apartment — a blanket draped over them, warm tea in their hands, and an old movie playing on low volume in the background.
Daisy
“Do you think they’d be happy for me?” Daisy whispered, not looking at him. Her fingers toyed with the sleeve of his sweater.
Jungkook didn’t need to ask who she meant.
Jeon Jungkook
He reached out, gently tucking her hair behind her ear. “They’d be proud. Of everything. Especially how strong you are.”
Daisy
Daisy blinked quickly and nodded. “I just… wish they could meet you. You’d charm them instantly.”
Jeon Jungkook
“I’d try,” Jungkook murmured with a soft smile. “But I think your dad would still threaten me with a shovel.”
Daisy
She laughed — a watery, honest sound. “Definitely.”
In his mind, Jungkook was already imagining a life with her. A small home with wildflowers in the front. A shared bookshelf that somehow only had her books. Burnt pancakes on Sundays. Laughter. Fights. Reconciliation. A family.
And someday, maybe… a child.
But none of that needed to be said now. For now, her hand in his was enough. Her presence — quiet, real, grounding — was everything.
Outside, the rain softened to a drizzle.
Inside, the future waited, warm and patient.
Daisy
Daisy’s fingers traced idle circles on Jungkook’s arm. “So… when do you want to marry me?”
Jeon Jungkook
He chuckled. “I already want to. Now.”
Daisy
She tilted her head, teasing. “That’s not a date, Mr. CEO.”
Jeon Jungkook
“Well, I’m used to scheduling board meetings, not weddings,” he said with a smile. “But I can try.”
Daisy
“I was thinking…” she said casually, brushing her hair over one shoulder, “maybe we could get married next month?”
Jeon Jungkook
Jungkook looked up from where he was sitting beside her, his tone instantly teasing. “That’s too far.”
Daisy
She raised an eyebrow. “Oh?”
Jeon Jungkook
“Two weeks,” he said, leaning back against the couch with that smug smile of his. “I can’t wait longer than that.”
Daisy
Daisy laughed. “You sound like you’re closing a deal.”
Jeon Jungkook
“I am,” he said, reaching for her hand. “The most important one of my life.”
Daisy
She pretended to think. “Hmm. Only if your parents are there.”
Jeon Jungkook
“They will be,” Jungkook said gently. “They’re flying back from the U.S. next week. Mom’s doing better, and they’re excited to come home — especially now.”
Daisy
She smiled softly, her heart full. “Then two weeks it is.”
In a home filled with quiet elegance and soft light, they didn’t need fanfare or a crowd. Just a decision, a promise, and a love that already felt like forever.

Chapter - 3
One week later, the grand doors of the Jeon family mansion opened to the soft scent of jasmine and polished wood. The house was expansive — high ceilings, wide staircases, curated art lining the walls — but it didn’t shout wealth. It whispered legacy. Everything felt intentional. Tasteful. As if the years had shaped not just a home, but a haven. A quiet kind of luxury where power met peace — and where memories settled into every corner like light through sheer curtains.
Daisy stood just inside the entrance, her hands resting nervously at her sides. She looked up once, then down, adjusting her posture.
Jeon Jungkook
Jungkook glanced at her with a calm smile. “Relax,” he whispered. “They’re not royalty.”
Daisy
“They’re your parents,” she murmured back. “That’s worse.”
Soft footsteps interrupted them. A woman appeared from the hallway — elegant in a pale blue cardigan and slacks, her hair tied back, her face composed but gentle.
Jeon Jungkook
“Mom,” Jungkook said with a fond warmth. “This is Daisy.”
Her gaze moved to Daisy, observing — not judgmental, just quiet and steady. Then, with a warm smile, she stepped forward and gently held Daisy’s hands.
Jeon Ella
“I’ve been looking forward to meeting you,” she said, her tone gracious. “You’re even prettier than your photos.”
Daisy
Daisy flushed. “It’s an honor to meet you, ma’—”
Jeon Ella
The woman smiled again, gently cutting her off. “Call me Mom. Please.”
Daisy
Daisy blinked. That word had weight. Warmth. It didn’t quite fit in her mouth yet, but she nodded. “Okay… Mom.”
Just then, another figure stepped into view — taller, broader, with a calm gravity that filled the room without a single word. Jungkook’s father. His dark blazer was crisp, his posture impeccable, his expression unreadable but not cold.
Jeon Jungkook
“Appa,” Jungkook greeted, nodding respectfully. “This is Daisy.”
Mr. Jeon stepped forward, extending a firm, steady hand.
Jeon Aiden
“It’s good to finally meet you,” he said, his voice deep, measured. “We’ve heard about you… from him.” His tone held the faintest flicker of amusement.
Daisy
Daisy shook his hand with a small bow. “It’s really nice to meet you, sir.”
He studied her for a quiet moment, then gave a small approving nod.
They all moved to the living room. The furniture was tasteful — minimalist, with soft gray tones and wooden accents. Tea was served, and conversation flowed slowly, like a river finding its rhythm.
Mrs. Jeon — Mom — led most of the discussion, asking Daisy about her writing, her cooking, her childhood memories. Mr. Jeon mostly observed, occasionally interjecting with short, thoughtful comments that revealed he was listening closely to every word.
At one point, Jungkook excused himself to take a call, leaving Daisy with them.
Jeon Aiden
A brief silence settled over the room before Mr. Jeon spoke again — calm, deliberate. “You carry yourself well.”
Daisy looked over, surprised by the comment.
Jeon Aiden
“Not everyone does, especially under pressure,” he added. “You don’t speak to impress — you speak to be understood. That’s rare.”
Daisy
Daisy’s voice was soft. “Thank you… I just want to be sincere.”
Jeon Aiden
“You are,” he replied, then glanced at his wife with a quiet, knowing smile. “That’s what matters most.”
Jeon Ella
Mrs. Jeon turned to Daisy, voice lower now. “He doesn’t say much, but when he does… he means every word.”
Daisy smiled, her nervousness beginning to fade. She didn’t feel tested — she felt seen.
By the time Jungkook returned, he found all three of them in comfortable conversation, the air easier now.
Later that evening, as he walked her to the car, Daisy glanced back at the glowing windows of the Jeon home.
Daisy
“She told me to call her Mom,” she said softly.
Jeon Jungkook
Jungkook smiled. “That’s how she welcomes people.”
Daisy
“Your dad… he’s not very expressive, is he?”
Jeon Jungkook
Jungkook gave a soft laugh. “No. But if he spoke to you that much? That’s his version of a hug.”
Daisy
Daisy chuckled, then turned quiet. “They’re both… strong. But kind.”
Jeon Jungkook
“They are,” he agreed. “And they like you.”
Daisy
She looked up at him. “How do you know?”
Jeon Jungkook
“Because they don’t just invite anyone into their world.” He reached for her hand. “And today, they did.”
As the car pulled away, Daisy looked out the window one last time, watching the warm glow of the house slowly fade into the night. Her heart was steady now — not racing, not uncertain. Just full. She wasn’t just marrying Jungkook. She was stepping into something bigger. Something steady. Something real.
And for the first time in a long time, she knew exactly where she belonged.
