{Akasshi's P.O.V}

I sigh as I had just got out of bed. I quickly changed and brushed my teeth, got my belongings and waved my hand back at my house as I headed for school.

...

???: "HEY ARE YOU NEW HERE?!?"

Akasshi: Sighs and turns around to the loud figure behind him. "Yes? yes I am. I'm new here, my name is Akasshi keiji."

I observed the guy that was taller and more buff than me and looked him up and down carefully.

???: " The name is bokutooooo!!"

akasshi: "umm... ok.. bokuto. Are you a 3rd year?"I said politely but in a cold tone.

bokuto: "Yeah no, IMA second year! Oh wait! I remember you!!"

I looked him with a confused face.

akasshi: "What do you mean?"

bokuto: "I'M pretty sure I saw one of your games last year!" the third years we had last year let us see some of the middle school games! You were in the semi- finals right?!?"

His face had a bright grin on his face and hair ridiculous. I slowly smiled and replied " Yah."

Ever since that moment, bokuto had keep asking to be friends.

bokuto: " AKASSHI! LETS BE FRIENDS!"

akasshi: " yah no, sorry bokuto-san." I smiled warmly but soon faded as I turned away after every time he ask.

A week later T3T

bokuto:"AKASSHI PLS!"

akasshi: " For the last time bokuto\-"

How childish. I looked at him as he was looking like a cute puppy dog and one begging for an owner.

bokuto: "AKASSHI!!!"

I turned to see a smiling boy who so happened to be my new friend. " What?"

bokuto: We have space for another person on the team! Do you wanna join the boys volleyball team!?!" He smiled brightly.

akasshi: Sure I guess... did you want me to be the-"

I was cut of by him.

bokuto: "YES PLEASE AKASSHI- SAN!"

I sighed. I looked at him once again and turned away. But he had followed me anyways.

I walked to the front of the school where the "garden" was and sat eatting my lunch I had made. It included some steamed buns, 2 rice balls, some chopped chicken and vegetables and some fruit.

bokuto: "AAWW MANNNN, I FORGOT MY LUNCH IN THE GYM!!!"

I looked at him and he suddenly had a emo face along with his hair looking like he had bent down and had his hair flop the other way.

I chuckled and reached to my bento and took two of the palm sized buns and handed one to him while stuffing one in his mouth.

He instantly took a big bite as he looked at me after with widen eyes which looked like he was happy that I had given him some food.

akasshi:" What? You said you for got your lunch. You can have those two buns. I made to many anyways."

I looked back at my food and then back at him. He was eatting his food like a baby. He had crumbs all over his shirt but looked like he enjoyed the bun.

...

I quietly smiled and continued to eat my food.

bokuto: "You know akasshi" I looked at him once again." You make good food! Do you think you can make me lunch every Friday!?!"

I chuckled. "Sure."

I wanna thank y'all for all your support. Hopefully you enjoyed this. I might make a schedule of posting once a week but posting at least 3 to 5 episodes or chapters on this for you all.

It's been 3 weeks since I was friends with this exotic owl guy. Honestly he isn't to bad, but can get annoying. He has this emo mood swing when ever something or someone gets the best of him. For some rare chances, he doesn't get what he wants. I would guess it happens 3 times a month.

I had already met some of the other second years in the volleyball team along with the first and third years. They weren't all bad.

I could say that bokuto was over working himself. I didn't know why but he seemed to become more tired every day. He was missing most of his cross-court shots or either failing to hit the ball. He lost courage every match we played too. We all didn't know what to do then. But today I figured, why not pull him into his real self.

At School~

bokuto: "Hey akasshi!!!"

akasshi: "oh wow, not shouting my name today?"

bokuto: "shut upppp" he whined.

akasshi: " chill bokuto-san, also, I wanted to ask." He looked at me confused. "Why are you pushing yourself to the max limit?"

It was quiet for two minutes but he suddenly muttered something softly.

akasshi:" hmm...? what was that?"

bokuto:" I said it's because I can't get stronger. If I don't get better then why should I be on the team?!? I'll be useless... to you and the others... and ... I WANNA BECOME THE TOP!"

I looked at him. He looked at the floor right after he said that. He was a owl for sure. But he wasn't fully grown. I smiled a bit.

akasshi:" Bokuto, you can get strong yourself but that comes to an end sooner or later, but with the others you can learn more. Pushing yourself is only making you lose your own learning period. Your team mates are what help you learn on the way. And I'm one of them, and I'm willing to lend you my strength to help you be the best and go to the top. if it's fine with you at least. And,... I know the rest of the team is waiting for you to ask for their help and guide to."

He looked up. All I could see was tears falling down his face. But with the water rushing down, he had a big smile placed on him.

bokuto:"Akasshi, will you lend me your strength?..."

akasshi:"Don't have to ever ask me twice, same goes for the rest of the team. We know well and good that your the next new Ace and we'll be there for you, don't think they dont know how you feel, cause whatever you feel, they feel to."

He smiled again, while brushing his tears away he turned away and walked. But before leaving he mumbled a couple of words. Not a phase, not a full sentence nor a statement. Simply a word.

bokuto:" yeah."😏

coach:" Ok we have a practice game with nekoma today! get ready!!!"

All: "HAI!"

bokuto:"Hoooo!! I can't wait to see my cat buddy's face!!!" he cheered with excitement.

akasshi:"Cat who?"

bokuto:"His name's Kuroo!!! We meet not to long ago! It was last year in December when we meet in a practice game!"

akasshi:"Oh so do you know the rest of the team?"

bokuto:"Yah I do!!"

The door in the gym busted open.

kuroo:"BROOOO!!!"

bokuto:"BROOO!!!"

There was a boy with two tonded hair, probably black and blonde, when he approached me without looking I whispered "Are they always like that?"

kenma:"pretty much, I'm used to the loudness..." He said looking at his game.

akasshi:"I'm akasshi keiji, you?"

kenma:"Kenma kozume"

We both sat down at the bleachers and watched the two kid-like teenagers play around and soon with the other first and second years joined.

And some how me and kenma were dragged into this to...

bokuto:"AKASSHI!!!COME JOIN US!!!"

kuroo:"YEAH, KENMA YOU TO!!!"

kenma:"Umm no thanks, I don't wanna look like a maniac."

I laughed.

akasshi:"Watch, we are somehow going into there mess."

kenma:"I agree...." He sighed and grabbed my wrist dragging his feet along the wooden floor and headed tords the group.

I sighed as soon as bokuto asked if he could give me a piggyback ride. Some reason I agreed. Kuroo also asked kenma but he declined, but~ what can I say. Kenma fell back anyways?

Kuro had grabbed him when he was walking away and without notice from the coaches kenma fell back and hit himself against the floor on his head and lower body.

kenma:"KUROO!!!"

kuroo:"Ummm... sorry?"

With that kenma got up and barely being able to stand. I quickly rolled backwards like kenma had but gracefully landed and ran tords him to help him stand.

akasshi:"Kuroo, and I right?"

He looked at me.

kuroo:"Your responsibility, so go take him to the nurse. I'll tell the coaches. Don't think I won't include that it was your fault either." I have him a quick glare and handed kenma over to him. He flinched and quickly grabbed on to kenma as the rest watched me walk away as if I was a teacher in the school.

kuroo:"Is he always like this?" he whispered to his owl friend.

bokuto:"Nope. I don't wanna end up like fried owl though. You should hurry and take kenma to the nurse before akasshi gets back though." He whispered back.

kuroo:"Right..."he sighed.

kenma:"Your fault not mine."

kuroo:"Shut upppp, don't have to remind me twicee!"

I looked back and glared at him again. I turned away after a few seconds and continued to tell the coaches the situation.

bokuto:"He heard us?!?" he whispered again, loud enough for the team to hear.

yaku:"Gezz, I can't with you both. I'm going to go help explain the situation as well. Kuroo hurry the hell up to. Kenma's head could have some serious damage dumb***."

kuroo:"I'm going I'm goinggg...!"

The others laughed and continued to get the court ready.

30 minutes later kenma and kuroo had come back. We started the game as soon as they did to. Kenma was benched for the first set and until he was, we were doing just fine.

Second set:

kenma was put in, from the looks of it he seemed fine. The fall could have been worse so I didn't worry to much about it.

When the game had started to told myself.

It's time to lend him my strength. I looked that the others and they nodded.
