Somewhere deep in the forest… beneath a blood moon sky.
The collar around Taehyung's neck sparked again, sending white-hot pain through his nerves. He didn’t scream — not anymore. Screaming had lost its purpose a long time ago. His hands trembled as he clutched the cage bars, too weak to shift, too scared to hope.

Tonight. We leave. No matter what.

(Taehyung blinked.)
But they'll find us.

(V's voice, calm and burning, echoed like thunder in the silence of his mind.)

(From outside the cage, one of the guards laughed cruelly, holding a syringe filled with glowing blue liquid.)
Time for your daily dose, freak.
V snarled.
Taehyung shivered.
But just as the cage door clicked open, the power surged strangely. The lab lights flickered. A second later — BOOM — something exploded down the corridor.
A flash of silver. A surge of energy. And suddenly, Taehyung was running barefoot through snow-covered trees, the collar now hanging broken around his throat. Blood soaked his sleeve, but it wasn’t his. His legs moved before he could think. V knew the way. They had planned this escape for months.
Branches whipped against his face. Cold air bit into his lungs. But none of it mattered.
He was free.
Or so he thought.
Behind him, screams echoed from the facility he’d escaped — the Pack that never deserved to be called one. He didn't look back.

(His wolf, V, whispered in his mind,)
Keep going. Don’t stop, little moon.

(He didn’t know where he was running to. Only that it was away.)

The guards caught his scent first — unfamiliar, omega, and wrong. No permission. No rank. No signature.

(He didn’t even hear them coming.)
A dart hit his neck.
Taehyung stumbled. Then darkness.
Underground Interrogation Chamber — Black Fang Territory
The omega was laid on the cold stone floor, limp and pale. His wrists were bruised, his body thin and trembling even in unconsciousness. The guards exchanged wary glances.

He crossed the border. No ID. No scent tags.
( one muttered.)

And the collar... it looks like something out of those illegal labs.

He could be a spy.
(Another said.)
The heavy door creaked open. Silence fell like snow.
Jeon Jungkook stepped in — tall, cloaked in black, his aura so intense even the air dared not move.
His wolf, Kook, snarled inside him. Something’s wrong. Someone is here.
Then Jungkook’s eyes locked on the boy lying on the floor.
Everything else vanished.
His wolf went still.
Jungkook took one step forward, then another — slow, cautious, like approaching a star that might burn or vanish.
The boy stirred, whimpering softly. The sound cracked something deep in Jungkook’s chest.
Jeon Jungkook
(His voice was rough with disbelief.)
…Mate.

(The guards stiffened.)

What did the Alpha say?
Jungkook was already kneeling beside the boy, brushing aside damp hair stuck to his temple. Taehyung’s skin was ice cold, his breathing shallow.
Jeon Jungkook
Who did this to you…?
(he whispered.)
V stirred faintly within Taehyung, sensing something strange — something safe.
Kim Taehyung
(The boy’s lips moved in a sleep-murmur.)
Don’t hurt me…
Jungkook’s hands clenched. Fury. Pain. Need to protect.
He stood up, eyes glowing red.
Jeon Jungkook
Get the healer. Now.
Guards
(The guards hesitated.)
But Alpha—

NOW!
( he barked.)
The guards scattered like leaves.
Jungkook remained. Alone with the boy fate had just handed him — battered, unknown, but his.

(he whispered, voice shaking.)

The room was dim and quiet, the only sounds the soft bubbling of medicinal waters and the steady beeping of a healing monitor.
Taehyung lay curled on a plush bed — so different from the cold metal cage he’d known. His body had been cleaned, bandaged, wrapped in warm fabrics. But his mind? It was still trapped.

(Jungkook sat by his side, arms crossed, jaw clenched. His eyes never left the boy.)
He hadn’t left the room since the healer arrived.
No one understood. No one dared question. Their cold, ruthless Alpha, who’d once torn a traitor’s throat out for entering the throne room uninvited, was now… watching over an unknown omega like a devoted shadow.

(When Taehyung finally stirred, his eyes fluttered open—soft brown, glazed with confusion and fear.)

(Jungkook froze.)

(His wolf, Kook, whimpered deep inside.)

He’s afraid of us...
Taehyung’s breathing was sharp and quick, his whole frame trembling. His eyes darted around like a cornered pup, scanning for escape routes that didn’t exist.
Jeon Jungkook
(Jungkook didn’t move closer. Instead, he slowly raised his hands.)
I won’t come near you. You’re not in your old pack anymore.
Kim Taehyung
Where… where am I?😨
( Taehyung rasped, still shaking.)
Jeon Jungkook
You crossed into Black Fang territory.
( Jungkook replied softly.)
My territory.
Kim Taehyung
(Taehyung blinked.)
B-Black… Fang?
Jeon Jungkook

(Jungkook’s voice deepened slightly.)

Taehyung flinched hard at the word Alpha.

(Jungkook felt something in him shatter.)

But Taehyung said nothing. Just curled into himself, silent and small, knees hugged to his chest.

(Inside his mind, V growled protectively.)
Watch him. We don’t trust anyone yet.
The door opened quietly.
Namjoon, Beta Commander, stepped in, eyes scanning the scene.

Alpha. The council is requesting an update—

Tell them he’s not to be touched or questioned. And no one is to come near this room without my permission.

(Namjoon paused, surprised.)

....find out which pack brands omegas like this. I want names. I want blood.
Later That Night
Taehyung lay staring at the ceiling, his body finally still. But his mind raced. Nothing made sense.
Why wasn’t he being locked up again? Why was that Alpha looking at him like he was… precious?

(He didn’t understand it.)
Didn’t trust it.
Couldn’t believe it.
But in the dark, a soft whisper echoed in his heart — not his voice, not V’s.
