Gia just woke up from her weekend rest and it's another monday, another long quiz that needs to be dealt with, plus the upcoming dance contest that she doesn't agree with. She decided to take a shower and eat some breakfast before she went to school. Gia checked the group chat to see if they were online. 

Aylene: @everyone where are you guys right now?

Macie: on the way now wait for me

(Macie went offline after replying) 

Gia: still waiting for the jeep to come the waiting are is too long😭😭😭 

Gia: Are you already at 7/11??? 

Aylene: Of course how can I be late because my house is near the school you know ಠಿ⁠_⁠ಠ

Gia: Wow first time (⁠☞⁠ ͡⁠°⁠ ͜⁠ʖ⁠ ͡⁠°⁠)⁠☞

Aylene: remember we still have a long quiz and I didn't review yesterday

Gia: Same same lets review together🥹🥹🥹

After a long long time of waiting the jeep finally arrived, Gia is already seated near the driver and pays her fare. 

After a long long long hours of road trip ft. Manong driver with broken songs, Gia arrives at the terminal. She decided to walk since 7/11 is near the terminal and school.

While walking she messaged the group chat that she was almost there in the 7/11, while Macie said she's almost there too. On the other hand Aylene is busy waiting for the two while scanning on what food to get once one of them arrives.

Gia's POV

Before I arrived at 7/11, I'm still scrolling through tiktok for tea~~~ you know this girly girl loves some tea every morning. But something captured my interest. It's about this one content creator packing some necessary things like first aid kit, meds, well prepared foods, weapons, and clothes. Is this guy preparing for the worst??? I said to myself in silence, I mean it's not bad to do some prepping you know, I might do that later because if anyone asked me this content creator is being serious today and it's rare to see him in serious mode since he's the goofy type of guy. 

Gia arrived at the 7/11 with a serious expression because of the pending activities and anxiety from that guy on tiktok. She scanned the area where Aylene is seated, after she found out she also took a seat across from Aylene. 

"So you're finally here huh? What took you so long to get here, you are only walking, not sight-seeing the whole area." Aylene said, "Girly, I'm stressed about the long quiz you didn't review so how can I not be stressed when we are in the same situation, so we have to eat first while reviewing or should I say memorizing the enumeration instead??? (⁠ ͡⁠°⁠ ͜⁠ʖ⁠ ͡⁠°⁠)✨✨✨" Gia said. "Fine fine, let's pick what to eat first, what are you gonna eat? I'm fine with iced tea. How about you?" Aylene said. "I'll take cup noodles and probably some iced tea too," Gia said to Aylene. 

"I'm going to write the enumeration answers in acronyms. It's too tiring to write the whole thing, you have the reviewer files right, Ay" Gia said while preparing the cup noodles. "Yah, I did, it's already been summarized for better understanding" Aylene said while drinking the iced tea. "Good I'll do these while eating you should review the multiple choice tho" Gia said while drinking her iced tea. 

"Got it as long as the memorizing part is yours (⁠.⁠ ⁠❛⁠ ⁠ᴗ⁠ ⁠❛⁠.⁠)" Aylene said. Gia rolled her eyes out saying "fine".

~~~~~~~~~~After eating & reviewing~~~~~~~~~~

"Girly I have tea" Gia said while grinning, "Cold, or Verbal?" Aylene said. "Duh of course verbal, we already finished the cold one" Gia said to Aylene. "So here's the tea, I just saw that tiktok guy, he's packing everything up like preparing for something while posting it on tiktok" Gia said. "Isn't it normal, we always saw other creators doing the same thing tho, you're being paranoid again girl you need the chill~" Aylene said to Gia. "I mean... yah? you're right but this guy is always funny even in a serious situation it's my first time seeing him like that tho" stressed Gia said with a frown look. "Okay how about this we are also gonna buy some necessary things to ease your mind I know your trust is tingling again, I mean why not right it's fine since we have enough money our bags are big enough and even if it's not true at least we are prepared" Aylene said while comforting Gia. 

~~After a long long time Macie is finally here~~

"MACIE! HERE!" Gia said. "Girl the 7/11 is small no need to shout" Macie said to Gia. "And girly pops, you, me and Ay plus the cashier is only here so it's fine ╮⁠(⁠.⁠ ⁠❛⁠ ⁠ᴗ⁠ ⁠❛⁠.⁠)⁠╭" Gia said to Macie "And here we go again every morning antics~" Aylene said while chatting her sugarbunchhoneybububear aka boyfriend. "Since we are all here, let's buy some snacks, essential needs, and go to school after this," Aylene said while Macie was giving a side-eye. "Did something happen? Why am I not informed?" "Girl you're always offline" Gia and Aylene said with a deadpan look. "Yeah, right I forgot✌🏻" Macie said while sweating because of how the two looked at Macie.

"But anyways why are we buying necessities when we have that at home?" Macie asked again. "Nothing much Gia here is being nervous because of someone's content" Aylene said while looking at Gia. "Hey! To be fair all my nervous warnings came in handy you know" Gia said while pouting because of what Aylene said. "I mean i didn't say it's useless tho" Aylene said while grinning ear to ear at Gia. "Girls it's called instinct" Macie said to both of them. "We forgot what it's called for a moment, since we just finished reviewing ehe~~~" the Gia said 

~~~~~After buying some necessities in 7/11~~~~~

"Hah~~~ We are finally done, wait do we need to buy clothes???" Aylene said while thinking. "Girl, did you forget that we brought some clothes because we have dance practice?" Macie said with a side eye. "Yah, I also brought my favourite jacket since we are only practicing in our room, even though I hate dancing, at least my jacket is here" Gia said. "Ohhh, Yah, now I remember that's why we have these bulky bags ugh I hate dancing too" Aylene said with a devastating look while they were walking to the school. 

~~After that long long walk they finally arrived~~

"Haaaaah~~~~~ good thing we're just on the second floor, I thought I'm about to see the saints" Aylene said "Girly you ain't going there as long as we are here" Gia said while staring at Aylene like a Siberian fox. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA NAWH GIRL YOU DID NOT" Macie laughing hysterically while gripping Gia's as if she's going to faint from laughing. "Girl your happiness is so shallow today" Aylene and Gia looked at Macie like she's a fool or something. "Not my fault, I just didn't choose violence today hah~" Macie said while trying to stop laughing. 

They are currently in the classroom having bonding time while waiting for others to arrive before the bell rings. 

"It's getting too cold here in our room and it's too early to use my jacket. Imma go in the hallway do you guys want to come with me?" Gia said while blowing her hand trying to warm it up a little. "I'm not going with you, it's too hot for me outside" Aylene said while playing on her phone. "Me too," Macie said while looking at Aylene's phone. "Okie," Gia said. 

Gia stood up and took the phone and wallet with her and she opened the door and stayed outside the room. (Author: btw the hall is just outside the room where Aylene, Gia and Macie are) 

Macie’s POV 

"I should have downloaded some games too before I came here" I said to myself with a bored expression. "Yup, but the school has wifi though, go ahead and download some games" Aylene said while focusing on the game that she's playing. "Oh yeah I forgot about it, hold on since we're the only people here it's fine to slack off a bit, I'm gonna look for some tea before downloading some games" I said with excitement. 

Macie was looking through social media for some entertainment when she suddenly saw a video of a hospital near our school. "Hey Ay, look, isn't this the hospital building nearby?" Macie said in a hesitant voice. "Yah?, why did you ask?" Aylene said still playing. "Come on just look" Macie said in distress, "Girl, I can see it even when I'm playing just tell me why you are stressing out" Aylene annoyingly said. "Okay fine it says that there's a mild infection spreading in that hospital" she rolled her eyes while saying it to her. Aylene is now looking at Macie’s phone saying "It's a mild infection as it says nothing to worry but why our classmates aren't here yet? Did they have too much fun?".

Little did they know that mild infection will spread like a wild fire in the meantime the other classmates are having fun in the mall next to that hospital where the so-called mild infection starts spreading. 

The bell finally chimes the class is about to start

Gia’s POV 

"It's already 8:35 am and there are still no students in the hallway or even on the first floor. What the heck is happening?" Mumbling to myself. I checked the social media but still no school update, So I kept watching downstairs on what's going on just in case. Suddenly the two guards in the gate suddenly screamed as if someone attacked them. "I hope my instinct is just playing with me" I mutter nervously while walking slowly downstairs to peek at what's going on in the gate, and I saw there's a crazy lady biting the guard while the other guard is trying to beat the crazy lady.

After Gia saw the situation downstairs near the gate, she immediately backed away in silence because of how gory the situation was. She decided to take a picture for Macie and Aylene to see later. So she took out her phone and peeked at the wall between her and the guards at the gate, when she clicked the cam button on her phone she forgot to turn off the flash and mute it and that's the thing where she fu'ked up. She's sweating bullets because the crazy lady with a bloody mouth looked at her and screamed and chased her.

"FUQ! FUQ! FUQ! RUN! LEGS! RUN!" Gia said to herself in silence begging for her legs to move faster, she ran back upstairs where her friends were. Good thing there's a gate door on the second floor, she managed to run and closed it on time before the crazy lady tried to reach her, still screaming in a hoarse voice. Gia looking disheveled decided to display a middle finger saying "yeah fuq you, you ain't getting me" while smiling like crazy because of adrenaline.

Aylene's POV

*Loud running footsteps* "Did you hear that?" I said, "Hear what?" Macie said while enjoying her time. *BANG!* "Ok I heard that now" Macie said sweating nervously, "Should we go outside???" I asked Macie in a low voice because who wouldn't do that after hearing that sound? "Duh of course, Gia is outside she said she'll just be in the hallway so it's okay we're the only people here you know" Macie said raising her eyebrows with a side eye. "Ok ok at least lower your voice a bit" I said to her.

Aylene and Macie peek at the door of their classroom and they see Gia displaying the middle finger at the end of the hallway where the stairs are. "Bruh is she that crazy to throw a middle finger" both Aylene and Macie thought to themselves while looking at Gia with a stoned face because she's laughing so loud like a madman. They decided to go outside after seeing Gia like that, and came to her to look at what's going on and why she's throwing her finger like she's on for a fight. After getting a bit closer they finally saw it, they stepped back after seeing the crazy lady because not only does she look horrible but she smells like a metallic, which makes the trio want to vomit.

"Gia what the heck is going on?" Macie said while covering her nose and mouth from the horrible smell. "I want to ask the same but maybe we should block the back gate from the left side of the hallway?" Aylene said, trembling because of how gory the crazy lady looks right now. "Yah, right hold on, I'll close that gate to wait for me in our classroom, I'll tell you guys what happened earlier" Gia said running to the back of the hallway while they looked at the crazy lady again for a moment and then they decided to go back to the classroom.

Gia finally came back to the room and explained what happened while locking the door of the room they're in, to ensure that no crazy people will go in. She also showed the photo of the guards downstairs to the two of them and they looked terrified because of how inhumane the scene in the picture was. After the adrenaline calmed down in Gia’s system she started sobbing, Aylene and Macie comforting her while Gia hugged them closer saying how scared she was for a moment because she thought she was about to die.

Macie’s POV

I can't stop trembling because of how scared Gia is right now. The only thing we could do right now is comfort each other, Aylene is scared too after she saw how bloody looking the crazy lady was outside. "I hope things will be okay soon and this is just a prank" I said to myself in silence. Is it because of the mild infection from the nearby hospital? But they didn't announce what kind of infection it is, so it's probably mild as they said in social media. "I should check my phone if there's an update just in case." I mutter to myself still trembling from that sight.

Macie checks her phone if there's any update from school group chat, there's actually an update that the trio didn't see. "The heck? There is an update in our school group chat? Did you guys see this yesterday?" Macie said with a frown while showing it to Aylene and Gia. "For real? Hold on let me check it on my phone" Gia said while sniffing and wiping her eyes from crying.

*12:00 am*

Dean: Hello students, There's a school anniversary party in XXX MALL that's near the terminal. There's gonna be a pageant, dance, mini cinema clips from every course and lastly a concert. These are all happening from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm by 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. We are staying in school for foundation day with booths and varsity players from every course. Thank you very much and have fun tomorrow❤️

"What a sh!\+\+y dean really? 12 am? Do they think it's that important to make an announcement at midnight?" Gia said with frustration in her voice. "And you are still not used to it? They always do that to us and now we can't make it there because they always block every student who is late" Aylene said with a frown.

\*Screamed\* The trio stop what they are doing when they hear another scream. "Aren't we supposed to be the only ones here?" Aylene said, sweating but alert. "How about we look into it?" Macie said with a curious tone. "How about no?" Both Aylene and Gia said with a scared look.

"Yep, no it's then I don't want to check it either" Macie said regretting what she suggested earlier. "How about we enjoy this time since this is the first time we skipped an event while we're waiting for others' help?😏" Aylene said while smirking as if she had forgotten about what happened earlier. Both Macie and Gia agreed to Aylene's idea since they can't make an emergency call because of no signal and the school wifi is very poor to even let them send a message.

~~~~~~~After waiting a long long time~~~~~~~~

While they're having a very nice gossip they receive a chat from their dean asking where everyone is but the trio can't send a message to notify the dean. Aylene, Gia and Macie didn't know that it's much worse outside the floor than they're in.

~~~~~~~~~~Back to the first floor~~~~~~~~~~~~

Earlier when Gia ran away, a group of students saw the two guards laying on the floor and they stopped in their tracks petrified at what they saw. After a few minutes someone from their group helps the one of the two guards they keep tapping calling the guards name while doing the CPR then all of them start helping once they see their friend helping the guards. But they didn’t know the crazy lady from earlier started going down the stairs after hearing the noise that the group made, then suddenly the crazy lady bit the neck of the student who was doing the CPR to the guard and the group shouted so loudly it was heard from the upper floor. The supposed de@d guards suddenly awaken and start scratching one of the group and biting another, until all of them are infected but only one student manages to survive and starts running in the XXX MALL to call for help.

(Author’s note: The building that they're currently in are junior building so they're on the right side of the school near the gate plus the school is in the city that's why every building that has been said is near (⁠\*⁠´⁠ω⁠｀⁠\*⁠)

\= Inside the XXX MALL \=

While the students and teachers are having a fun party time, the survivor from earlier started shouting at the entrance calling for help, but the guards kept blocking him because he was late to the party but the other students nearby the entrance heard him. They decided to check on what was going on at the entrance and saw the scared survivors looking all bloody and distressed from what happened earlier. They start asking him what happened to him while comforting him, they bring him food, water, and a towel to wipe the blood from him.

\= After calming the survivor down \=

He started telling them what happened to them, and he asked to help his friends because they were still at the school entrance. One of the students who comforts him goes to tell the teacher and asks to help the other injured students at the entrance of the school, so they call an ambulance near the XXX MALL but no one answers.

\= After more phone calls declined \=

The teacher decided to ask the school president and vice president to go to the school to check on other injured students at the entrance while the teacher is going to the nearby hospital. Checking on why they're not picking up the emergency calls, after telling them what to do they decided to move quickly.

\= After arriving at the hospital \=

The entrance of the hospital looks like it had been raided with a lot of smeared blood on the counter, floors, windows, and walls. The teacher is taken back at what she saw, horrified at the looks of the hospital she decides to step back, but she falls down on the way, she momentarily looks at the thing that caused her to fall down and that shocked her to the core that she started screaming while crying.

At what she saw is a body with the organs hanging outside, half of it is gone with a pool of blood still gushing as if it had been freshly ripped like a salmon eaten by a bear. The teacher keeps screaming at the situation she's in, but she chooses to get up and go outside to ask for help, but before the teacher could even go outside someone pulled her in strongly causing her bruises and she screamed again in agony because not only she's bruising, someone bit her as if they had been starving for months.

The teacher didn't know that someone, was a lot of people biting her from the hand, waist legs, feet, back, and head munching her like green peas as if the teacher is some kind of snack. At that point she's gone, she didn't know that everything started here and mindlessly walking on a de@th trap.

\= Back to the trio, it's already afternoon \=

"Do you think they're coming to save us?" Aylene asked worrying that no one would come to save them. "Girl, if they don't save us the school would go on a mud because it will tarnish their reputation, they won't risk it since a lot of students are studying here" Gia said while rolling her eyes, but she's also worried about that too. "Don't you guys forget that although we're the only people here in this building right now doesn't mean the senior main building doesn't have any students or teachers don't forget they're decorating the school for the afternoon event too." Macie said chilling while playing on her phone still trying to forget what happened.

They didn't know the infected guards, students including the school president and vice president were roaming around the whole building infecting anyone in sight or finding more victims using their sense of smell, not only to eat people but also to spread it.

Macie checked her phone if there's any update outside and finally the government of XXX city they're in finally announced something they aren't expecting. "Girls, look at the online news" Macie said while showing it to them.

Mayor of XXX City 2:59 pm

Today I announced that everyone stays at your house for safety reasons, packing enough food, water, clothes, emergency medical kit, and more necessities that are needed. Don't go outside as the infection is still spreading fast, We didn't know which one is patient zero, but we know the infection started at XXX hospital near the XXX MALL and Terminal. If you're already outside staying at the building that you're at right now, we don't know how it was spreading besides biting, and they started eating everyone in sight so stay safe everyone, This is not a drill, Thank you and survive.

"We are totally f*cked" Aylene and Gia said in a low voice. "But hey at least we are prepared though" Macie said trying to lighten the mood. "Yup and it's totally unexpected though none of these sh*t is our fault, at least we can finally sleep over you know, and also thanks to Gia's magical instinct we came prepared" Aylene jokingly said causing the trio to smile at the idea of a sleepover at school. "Not only that we can use the aircon (⁠~⁠‾⁠▿⁠‾⁠)⁠~" Gia said smiling like she's on vacation. (well technically it is going to be a permanent vacation)

\= Status outside of the XXX School \=

At the 7/11, the remaining people inside are trying to fend for themselves fighting for their life with betrayal going on, trying to kill each other for the food in the end half of them are infected, some of them are killed and only a few survivors left, deciding to go out in the open.

Inside the Terminal, Some people start to bite one another, tearing them apart some try to leave with the drivers still inside telling them to move quickly, but some are unlucky because the jeep and bus they are in doesn't have a door or window to protect themselves.

Inside the XXX Mall, the survivor from earlier started acting strangely looking anxious hungry and needed a lot of water and food. In the end the survivor becomes infected and starts biting and munching other students and adults near him, others trying to survive using other students as a meat shield and other people go inside the supermarket inside of the mall and shut the sliding shutter door so no one else could go inside. While some go to a restaurant and do the same thing blocking the entrance getting rid of anyone who's possibly infected and trying to make a hierarchy of who's strong and who's weak using it as a way to dominate others into submission.

Inside the Mayor's Office, the community didn't know it's the last time they're going to hear from their Mayor because of how fast the infection spreads that it reached the government building the Mayor at his despair and last option he decides to warn his community as the last act of public service to his people, and he prefers to off himself since he is cornered and no option left for survival.

People in the neighborhood community started closing door barricading everything after seeing a lot of the infected come from a bus that leaves the area of Terminal. Some stubborn people stay outside to find out what's happening and some infected started running to them biting every area possible munching any meat left on the body while others infected trying to sense the area if there's anyone to eat, some infected are stubborn too, trying to break any entrance possible. Some neighbors tried to fight the infected but ended up de@d on the spot.

\= Back to Gia, Aylene, and Macie \=

It's almost nighttime they're still stuck but someone banged on the back gate. They heard help and screamed and some survivors said "WHY THE F*CK IS THIS LOCKED!" thanks to Aylene's idea earlier to also lock the back gate because after they cursed trying to open the back gate some infected eat them alive while creating a nasty gurgling scream because of the gushing blood in the mouth.

Gia, Macie, and Aylene wear their earphones and stay close together while sitting at the floor, after turning the lights off to not attract infected or anyone nearby and putting the chairs at the door just in case, they also taped the sides of the curtains not too straight but also no too loose just enough for others not to see them on what they're doing.

After all someone tried to call them from the outside but ended up de@d with the infected looking up on where the infected's victims were looking at, after seeing the trio the infected tried to go there but was blocked by the gate door, the infected keeps on lashing out but at the end it given up on the idea and find another victim instead, that confirms there suspicions and decided to close the curtains and never open them again.
